Julie did it again, I couldn’t put this book down.
If you’ve read any of Julie’s series, you could pick this book up and read it. The end of this book had multiple characters from her series all come together, I loved it. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has read Julie’s books before or is looking for a new favorite shifter mate/romance to read.
If you’ve been following the Weston Force and you read about Silas mate, then you’ve been waiting for this book too. I was really looking forward to it and was not disappointed.
Vada is strong yet self sacrificing, she will draw you in and you’ll want to protect her and yell at her all at the same time. The horrors from her past and time in captivity will definitely pull on your heart strings and could be a trigger for someone, just a warning. I really enjoyed getting to see her blossom.
The whole Raglan organization that WF has been battling gets put under the microscope in this book. I was secretly hoping they wouldn’t be an issue much longer every time Silas rallied the troops. I can’t wait till no one can pick up their work again and shifters are safe.
Silas finally gets to meet Vada! It’s been a long time coming for our moody gorilla shifter. I loved getting to see the softer side of him, not just the tuff leader that puts everyone else first.

Julie Trettel has done it again! She has managed to create another masterpiece.
This is the fifth book in the Westin Force series. It could probably be read as a standalone, but you’ll be missing some really big and important pieces of the puzzle, so I recommend starting at the beginning of the series.
Silas is the leader of Westin Force’s Bravo Team, a gorilla shifter and your regular stone faced bad ass. Westin Force has been working on taking down the Raglan, a group of humans who kidnap shifters and experiment on them. Vada is a shifter who was kidnapped by the Raglan, and who has made it her mission to help and save as many others as possible. In order to do so, she has stayed in captivity rather than attempt to escape. Will Silas succeed in saving Vada from the Raglan? And at what cost?
Julie Trettel always manages to captivate me with her stories. Her words paint a vivid picture and the characters are deep, complex and real, even though they are shifters. I don’t really have anything negative to say about this book. The only downside is that I finished it, which means I have to wait for the next one of her books. You will not regret reading this book.
I’m giving this book 5 out of 5 stars.

Wow, this book was worth the wait. I loved the connection between Silas and Vada, after she finally worked out what being someone’s mate entails and that your mate doesn’t own you like a possession, yes they are possessive of you but just want to make sure your safe and happy as well as love you. Silas found out from Keeley who the team thought she one of the shifters that needed rescuing but Emma told them that she was in tight with one of the Raglan’s and did atrocities to her shifter brothers and sisters she then nearly got painter k*lled as she tipped off the Raglan from inside Westin Force and she told him that his mate is still alive and that she wont leave until she’s made sure everyone is out of Raglan’s clutches. Silas knows not to trust her but gives him some hope but then he gets a call from Jake who is undercover with the Raglan that they need to be extracted and that there’s a women shifter who thinks she going to be put down and he asks Jake her name and he tells him that it’s Vada. Silas and the rest of Bravo team roll out to the coordinates that Jake gave them when he tells Patrick that his mate is alive but get there a little too late.
This book has way more action than in previous books but I still felt the relationship grow between Silas and Vada and man Silas with his cat Fury was hilarious and it was even funnier seeing Emma’s reaction when saw him cuddling up with Fury when she picked Vada up for girls night she really couldn’t believe her eyes as Silas is usually really grumpy but that probably has a lot to do with scenting Vada for years when they for on a job at the ARC and Ben delivered his and Selby’s adopted pups when their birth mother had been crushed when the building was partially blown up so scenting his mate that close to him but not being able to rescue her or even see her would’ve been really hard but probably would’ve eaten at him when the rest of his team found their mates and completed their bonds, whereas he didn’t even know if she’s still alive. Silas was completely right telling Jacob Winthrop what he thought of the Verndari and that they failed in the regard to protecting the shifters and Raglan started as them and they didn’t do anything. All I can say is Jake is a complete bada*se and I think there must be something superhuman about him. He’s definitely got a pair for repetitively flirting with Vada but it’s even worse while her and Silas’s bond wasn’t complete. I’ve been intrigued by him from when we were first introduced to him in Ben and Selby’s book and I’m really excited that he gets his own a book. I’d definitely recommend this book, series, Westin World Universe and author to everyone.

the last of the team to find his mate, finally happened. Love the whole series, would recommend reading Westin Pack first then Collier Pack, ARC Shifters and Westin Force, as it makes the characters fall into place and make sense with no spoilers. Can't wait to read the books coming out in 2022

Silas is a gorilla shifter but he is also the leader of Westin Force Alpha Team. While in the field saving shifters from the Raglan Silas knows his true mate is near but doesn't see her. Several more rescue mission are completed but in the last one Silas was on the explosives were set off early and he was unable to rescue his mate. Silas is grumpier than ever his true mate is dead and never really go to meet her. Vada has been with the Raglan for many years, she is also a gorilla shifter but she has refused to shift for her captures in all the years they have held her. Gorilla shifters are strong and rare, Vada knows if they find out she is a gorilla they will do horrible experiments on her so she keep her other form hidden all the years she is with the Raglan. Her on goal in life is to save as many shifters as she can from the Raglan. Even though she felt her true mate near she couldn't go to him, she had to save all the shifters first. Time and time again she saved as many shifters as she could and then stayed behind so she could help the others. Vada survived the explosion and is given another chance to save herself when Westin Force comes again but she meets Silas and decides to stay behind because there are just too many lives at stake and she wants to put an end to Raglan. Will she jeopardized her own life in her efforts to save all the others and wills he and Silas have a chance to get to know each other. This book was worth the wait. I loved it, the story was amazing and the characters have back stories that are just heart breaking. If you love shifters this is a must read.

Pallas cat beta Luke Devereaux met his true mate, bush dog, Blair Kendrick when she was 12 and immediately sought her parents. Blair eagerly agrees and familiarity gives her Pallas cat comfort, friends and enemies.
At 18, odd gifts and notes appear on Blair’s doorstep. Noel and Blair’s uncle /alpha don’t take it seriously but insist it’s being investigated and forbid her to tell Luke. When the dead body of one of Luke’s exes dead body is gifted to her and Blair calls Luke against her about it. He brings her to the Pallas cat pride upsetting Noelle.
Meanwhile, Blair’s stalker ramps up his activity with calls in addition to gifts as female pallas cat enforcer’s increases her campaign to unseat Luke and block Blair from a power position. Plus, Noel doesn’t stop trying to break up Blair and Luke. Also, the Pallas cats get a lead and some get back on a poacher ring.
Hmm, to this reader’s taste this overall bland outing was quite the patchwork quilt with little bits stitched together but not necessarily flowing easily from one piece to the other.

Silas! Silas! Silas! I have been impatiently waiting for this brooding man to finally have his happily ever after and after the ending in book 5 I honestly didn’t see it happening. Julie Trettel is phenomenal when writing shifter romances. She is not like most authors who seem to stay with one breed when writing a series and one of the things I love about her book!
Silas has been through so much leading up to this book and I’m finding it hard to write this review since I am not a fan of spoilers. I will say that his happily ever after was surprising but… not. The unlikely ally was more of a surprise and one I didn’t trust… at all!!!
As with the previous books we are given the continuation of taking down the Raglans as well as battling with the changes between the hero and the heroine. The action in this book was so entertaining; going on missions, meeting shifters who have been kidnapped as well as gaining a witch!
I truly feel that Julie Trettel out did herself with this book and although this may be the last book in this series, I hope we get stories for the other teams within Westin Force!

The Series Just Keeps Getting Better and Better
Julie Trettel and The Westin Series has quickly become one of my favorite series. I reread the series often because each time I find something different to love. As soon as I hear that a new book has been released, I grab it, hang up the do not disturb sign and begin reading. I was anxiously awaiting Final Extraction because I really needed a happy ending for Silas. Ms. Trettel gave me everything I wanted and needed. There was pain and joy, love and hurt, and by the time we reached the end, I was emotionally wrung out. I always love being able to revisit characters from past books that I have fallen in love with and this series delivers. I never have to fully say goodbye to anyone and I am here for that. Final Extraction had me on the edge of my seat at times as we waited for Silas and Vada to finally be together and the others to be freed. I am so excited to know that there are more books. I hope that we never have to say goodbye to the Westin Pack.

A fantastic story

This has been an intriguing and fantastic series, and this story was no exception. I'm happy that Silas finally got his own story, and it was anything but typical. Lol! With him and his mate having lived through so many tragedies, it seems unfair that they continue having them come between them. I really wish that there had been more depth to their relationship after the fact, especially after the bomb dropped at the end, but overall it was a terrific story.
If you haven't already read the other series related to this one, I would highly recommend that you do. You'll need to start with the Westin Pack series, then the Collier Pack series, ARC Shifters series, and finally Westin Force series. All of these series are connected through the different packs or families, and they're all absolutely fantastic stories that you will love.
I'm really looking forward to reading Jake's story, and happy that he's finally getting one!
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.

I read this whole book in about 6 and a half hours. I just couldn't put it down.. How Julie Trettel's Characters come alive is magical. I have been an avid fan of her writing and she always surprises me with how real her Characters are and how attached the reader becomes to each one of her Characters.
If you are like me and you have been waiting for Silas's book because you find him a dedicated leader and wonder how his One True Mate will match him as well as change him wait no more. Final extraction let's you see just how much his true mate helps round out the Tuff guy's life. This book is the 5th in the series and I love how her other Westin/ARC/ Collier Characters interact and their story is still growing. Vada and Silas together are gonna be even harder to beat they are both loyal leaders who does what needs to be done to save as many shifters as possible.

Finally Silas gets to be happy!!!
This story follows Silas, the leader of the Westin Force as he comes to terms with the death of his mate, or so he thought. When he receives news that his mate is still alive, he will do anything to get her back. Vada is a girl who puts others before herself, when she discovers that her mate is coming to rescue her, she should be running into his arms right? You'll have to see for yourself.

~Getting to see Silas finally be happy truly made me smile. Throughout this series, we've gotten to see the other members of the Westin Force find their mate, while Silas was the lone wolf, well lone gorilla. When he is with her, he is so much more happier and truly becomes a greater leader.

I loved the chemistry, even the push & pull between Silas & Vada... All the characters are relatable & will have you cheering them on! Action-packed shifters and romance grabbed me from the start until I didn’t want to stop, and read this in record time! ... I was thrilled to find this with *Amazon KU* during my *Kindle Unlimited* “trial membership” so I can honestly recommend this to adult fans of fiction! Now I can’t wait for more, but of course I will ;)

I have loved Julie’s world of shifters from her very first book. She has a way of drawing you in and making you want more.
This book, the story for Silas and Vada was no different.
Julie has the plot lines, the story lines, the good, the bad and the ugly all rolled into one.
Silas is the quiet, moody and serious type - most people try and avoid him and for good reason. He isn’t the leader of Bravo for no reason.
Vada is a sweet natured, kind hearted soul who risks her own life to save as many shifters as she can.
When the mating call comes, will they both be able to beat the odds, save the shifters and themselves?
It’s a journey of self belief, love, passion, fire and need.
Bloody loved every page!!

I've been waiting for this book since we first met Vada in Emma's and it was hinted that she was Silas's mate. It did not disappointed.
This book is one of the more intense Trettel books in my opinion and there is on-page murder so be prepared for that along with a building collapse, but Vada is one of the best FMCs written by the author. She's strong and willing to sacrifice herself for the greater good again and again. My only disappointments with this book is that the Raglen went down so easily, there was no real huge confrontation, and I hate when she leaves the epilogue ending on something that isn't really a cliffhanger but also makes you want to hear more about the couple (she's a pro at that though).

Without words! Hooked from start to finish, like always Julie makes us want more. This being the last book of Westin Force leaves a bitter-sweet moment, I hope to read more about a Bravo team because I will always want more information from the character's lives.
From Vada’s point of view, we get to see a little about different shifters, the life of the prisoners, and their difficulties. And of course, we read how Silas is the best leader.
Do I want more? Hell yes! Will I have enough someday? I don’t think so. Do I recommend the book and the series? Of course, 100% recommended.

Silas's character has always fascinated me. Strong. Brooding. Overshadowed by his dark family past. But secretly soft as the kitten Fury attests to. His continual drive to eradicate th Reglan while he searched for his mate in the previous parts of the force stories has been an intriguing thread that Final Extraction brings to a culmination.
Julie's character development of Silas and Vada is solid. The story line starts slightly dark but lightens as the suspense increases to its climax.
I'm interested to see where Julie takes the shifters of Weston-Collier-ARC

Finally!!
Not disappointed! I have been waiting so long for Silas to get his Mate! As I read through the story I was admittedly concerned about the pace. Definitely a character flaw of my own is my impatience! Julie did an amazing job with pace and although I was crazy to just see Silas hold his mate within the first 2 pages I was thrilled at how the story played out. Once again you get a believable romance in a genre that often time makes you just assume they have love. Not with this author she has a way of making you feel the actual chemistry between her characters. Never disappoints I highly recommend all of her work!!!!

I feel like I waited forever for Silas’ book but it was worth the wait! There is more action in this one than her others in this series in my opinion but the romance is still there! Seeing Silas angry and vulnerable 😚👌🏼
I really enjoyed the twist on, and behind the scene madness that was Trevor Daniels
AND Loved that we got to see more Jake he really is one of my fav side characters♥️
And I loved that Julie didn’t fully close out the story incase she picks up the story line further in the future 🤞🏼

Another great book!
I love all of the series in the westin pack world, and was a little sad this was going to be the last book for the spin off series of the Westin Force….. BUT there is another one coming and I am look forward to the next book!
This one follow Silas and Vada who are both gorilla shifters. I thought they were so cute together at the end and I was excited that she ended up being a gorilla shifter as well. I really liked this book and would definitely recommend it!

I recieved this book for free and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Westin Force is a wonderful series but this book was one I have been waiting for. Silas needed his mate and she has been through pure hell just to save other shifters. It broke my heart when we thought she died! I'm so glad the author decided to give us a deeper look into who Westin Force is. The books have dangerous missions, hot sexy scenes and love only a true mates can have. I didn't finish till 2am and went to bed with a smile on my face!

Wow what a whirl wind read, absolutely great story and fitting for Silas and Vada’s story. Will they finally be able to save all the shifters and humans being held by the Raglan?
Great story, plot and the characters are amazing. Lots of angst, and some serious moments, but lots of overwhelming emotional moments. Silas and Vada and sweet together and honestly I can’t wait for the next read to find out how their surprise turns out. Very hot intimate moments, nothing crude. Love the way all characters are involved and each series comes together. Highly recommend

Heart breaking read
This book was difficult for me to read because it hurt my heart a lot. The story is good the subject matter is difficult. I love Cylas and Vada. Vada is just to darn stubborn. I want to slap Jacob for what he said about the force. Really that is just ridiculous that he would even say that releasing all those shifters and humans was wrong! Unreal. Grrrr if I was a gorilla I'd beat my chest and yell at him. And Patrick his reaction was WRONG! worth reading just be ready for some tough subject matter.

Julie has done it again! I 100% recommend this book! If you've read the other books in the Westin Force series you've been waiting for this gruff and hard gorilla shifter to finally meet his mate!
Silas and Vada's story is the closure we needed for bravo company. So all our favorites finally get their happily ever afters! The ending of this book is perfect! And I can't wait to see what Silas and Vera get up to in Julie's future books!

Great book
This book has a ton of action. Good suspense without the angst. Silas is such a strong alpha & a great leader for Bravo team. Vada has been helping the captive shifters for so many years. It was neat to see how she did it from the inside. The romance occurred more towards the last quarter of the book but I still enjoyed it and can see me reading this again. I recommend!

Awesome story! Silas meets his match.
Julie Trettel has done it again! Another fantastic read in the Weston Force series. I was looking forward to getting to know the gruff, no nonsense, all business Silas and he was everything I hoped for. He has definitely met his match in his true mate. I absolutely enjoyed reading about this pair. Thank you Julie for creating a world I love to live in! And for all the little sneak peaks at past characters. Love it!

This is one of my favorite books out of the whole series! Can't believe the things that this couple overcomes in their journey to find each other! Most people would give up but true love will always push them to do the hard things! This story will capture you and keep you reading until you just want more! It is a must read!

Brilliant as always
Amazing story and brilliant characters. I love of the shifter books by Julie Trettel I had never read any paranormal books before hers and I have tried a few others but I haven’t found any that I can really get lost in. I found her with one true mate on Audible and I can honestly say that her books are just as good on audible as the narrators are perfect!

A must read! Some spoilers in this review.
Silas & Vada’s story was worth the wait. Vada been under the Raglan’s for so longer she doesn’t understand what mean to be free until Silas gives her a key card. When she is asked to join ladies night she learn so much more. I would of never picture him w/ Fury it was funny to realize he was taking to his cat.

Julie Trettel has done it again! She's given us a book that gives you all the feels. Final Extraction tells the story of Silas, leader of Westin Force's Bravo team and his mate Vada.
It is the 5th book in the Westin Force series, so you get to visit with old friends and meet new ones along the way.
I couldn't put this book down and I did not want it to end. It's the perfect story fo Silas.
