I never knew that my favourite digital artist published some of his work in the form of art books! So happy to have stumbled across them while book shopping the other day.
While I've always been drawn to Avogado6's art style, his use of colours and mild saturation, I always loved the metaphors he used in his art. I could have easily flipped through this entire book in one sitting, but a lot of these required me to sit and let the meaning of the art, the symbolism of everything, wash over me and touch me deeply.
The theme is that this is a library of secrets. A book collection (蔵書) is read as ひみつ or "Secret", so each book reveals someone's secret that was donated to the library.
TW that Avogado6's art usually addresses topics such as self-h*rm, s*icide, and he makes no light of these in his art. They're beautiful, but very heavy.
