It took a lot of convincing (begging on his knees) for straight-laced and honest high school boy Naoya to convince Saki to let him date her and Nagisa at the same time. He swore to make the two of them happy and even convinced them to live together with him, all under one roof! As the three of them get to know each other, their bonds gradually deepen but just as their triangle relationship finally takes a smooth turn, Saki loses her confidence as Naoya's "girlfriend" and runs away from home!! Where is this three-way relationship heading?! See it all unravel in this second volume of the unique love comedy!

Still silly and quick reading. Less than four, but closer to that than three.

It's surprisingly tame, when you can get past the two-timing aspect that is.
Also: Everyone is so energetic all the time. I've calculated the agitated text bubbles to average text bubbles ratio and it was closer to 2:1 than 1:1 - and even 50:50 would have been a lot of... energy 😅
Anyway, with the end of volume 2 we're pretty much slipping into harem territory here. That was probably to be expected, but I fear the character development might suffer. If Hiroyuki uses the new characters in a clever way to push the main cast forward, then it is probably worth it.
Still, for me the manga could have spent a lot more time on exploring polyamorous relationships. It did for about 2/3 of volume 2, but there it's still pretty surface level.
Maybe I am expecting too much?
It's a 4/5 for a setup that I haven't seen before with a dose of hope that it will keep exploring the triangle relationship in more depth. It's more like buying stock than rating the volume purely on its own - I'm betting on potential here.

Well, this story went exactly where I thought it would. Enter girlfriend number 3!

Yes my friends,, this is now officially a harem rom-com. Exactly where I suspected it was headed. Milika, an extremely popular vtuber (who hides her true identity) accidently catches our three lovebirds having a quiet lunch together in the locked school storage shed. One thing leads to another, and now Milika also wants to be with Naoya! Saki is definitely not going to let this happen. Naoya went to a lot of trouble to win Saki back when she ran home to her parent's house last volume. Now Saki finally realizes two things. One, Naoya would go to Hades and back for her, and two, she has a serious rival in Nagisa. Now a third notion has come to mind - how do they get rid of rich online star Milika, who's decided to camp out in the threesome's back yard? Milika won't back down. She too has realized what a prize Naoya (?) Is (?)... and she's gonna win him over, by hook or by crook! So what are Saki and Nagisa supposed to do?

Keeping up with two girlfriends is hard.... BUT THREE??

This volume introduces us to a new character - Rika! A famous youtuber who after finding out about their relationship, tries to split it up by having Naoya all to herself!

This volume mainly focuses on the new character's personality and her development, but don't let that fool you! This volume continues Naoya's, Nagisa's, AND Saki-Saki's misadventures!

Saki-Saki and Nagisa are battling more than ever in this volume! Against each other OR Against each other and their new foe, Rika! No matter how many times Naoya has to say he loves the two equally, they're still up in shenanigans nevertheless!

If you're into character development in a comedic sense/style, then the second volume will have you covered!

You won't be disappointed!

I’d give this one a 3.4 stars rounded down. The first half started into some interesting exploration of a ‘figuring things out for themselves’ early polyamorous relationship, but I wasn’t too in love with the 2nd half’s introduction of a weirdly persistent third girl who motivations for even wanting to insert herself into this grouping (after roughly 0 time knowing them) are incredibly unclear.

The new character is definitely a bit much so far- and I was hoping to see more of the original grouping finding some level of stability before adding new twists into the mix… but that’s not going to stop me from picking up the next volume to see where this goes.

The best kind of ridiculously dumb

If you've seen the first one you know what to expect it only gets better with the addition of a new character

What has become of my taste...

This has no right being as funny and wholesome as it is. How did we get here? Where will we go? What screams will we make along the way? Find out next time.
