It’s been a crazy year for Wysdom Ward. She’s been shot at, blown up, and knocked out more times than she can count. She also found Luke Saber, the love of her life, and they’re preparing for their happy ever after.
Wysdom’s cottage is just too small for the both of them, but she gets a little space when she moves into a suspected “haunted house” for a few days to help out a new client. However, when Wysdom catches the resident “ghost,” she uncovers something much more sinister.
In the middle of it all, she gets the shock of a lifetime that will change the course of her and Luke’s lives forever.
These books have been so enjoyable to read! I do feel though that this one book in particular should’ve come with a warning as it’s a lot darker and has heavier themes than the others.
Hooo girl... buckle up because Wysdom and the gang are going on the craziest ride yet in this non-stop page-turner.
Anyone who has lived with a lov... boyf... FIANCE! will know the pain of telling them for the thousandth time that the teaspoons are right next to the forks as God and Oprah intended. And don't get me started on "closeness." Fortunately, these two lovebugs have jobs and haunted houses to see to before the stew of hormones gets the best of Wysdom.
A Crazy Midlife Miracle had me chuckling and gasping from the first page to last. And of course, fanning myself at the steamy parts ;)
Ok didn't see the twists coming when I started this book. All the previous issues have been solved, family are safe, terrorist groups taken down and now Luke and Wisdom can get on with their lives, no drama... right?
Yeah right, they didn't expect this to happen.. definitely a surprise and a miracle!
They also meet Tatiana's aunt and I love her lol but they also meet her neighbour who has some dark secrets, be prepared it is not an easy read for this one.....
On the upside they get new guests and those two become a permanent addition ❤️
Not as good as the first two in the series however still a good read. Loved how the two different cases they were operating tied together and the bad guy was taken care of. Such an easy and quick read, all her books have been. I’m looking forward to finishing the series and starting her other one following the saber siblings.
This series is the best! You get some sexy time and some belly laughs. Wysdom is the best character ever and I’d love to be bffs with her! Dawn writes a hard hitting story that also hits all the feels.
Each book that I write in the Flamingo Cove series comes from a question. It usually starts with "what if?" What if we threw this at Wysdom? What if that happened?
This book was a slight deviation from that pattern because I wanted to know: What happens when your happily ever after is in your sights? How does a 40-year-old woman adjust to suddenly having the love of her life - ALWAYS THERE?
(Asking for a friend...)
Asking some of my friends and family this question led to some hilarious scenes in the book. But that "morning person" thing is all my mom. You know - the mom who goes around town telling people my book is "about sex."
Enjoyed catching up with Wysdom Ward and Luke! So many fun things about this book, and yet, there is a serious side to the story. One that I enjoyed, making each turn of the page more interesting. Looking forward to the next book and THEN moving on to the Saber Sisters series!
