She's true Archdruid. He has the power to destroy the realm.

Urien’s sole will is to conquer the lands of Almara. He will do anything to reach that goal. The only thing between him and the right to rule are his half-siblings. He has already defeated one. Only one remains between him and the throne. With the help of his mother’s powerful dark magic, Urien stretches his might across the realm to force everyone to submit to his will.

Ann is the last sibling who stands in Urien’s way. If he succeeds in taking the throne, the world will burn under his reign. Her escape from Urien’s dark army brings her home. The druid refuge is her last chance to defeat her brother. Will the druids side with their leader or turn against her?

One will evolve to become more powerful. One will be erased from existence.

I received a digital arc in exchange for an honest review. This is simply my opinion on the book and is not influenced by any external factor.

I was a little nervous to start this because I read book 1 almost three months ago now and have read so many other books in between. I was worried that I would be confused and a little lost with the story because I had been away from it so long. After finishing the book today, I realize that there was no need for me to worry about that. The story starts right where book one left off, and no matter if you’re reading it straight after Bound by Blood or after some time, you get caught up to speed really quickly. After the first couple of chapters, I realized how much I missed this creative world and beautiful storytelling.

And I have to say, this was just as good, possibly better than the first!

The amazing worldbuilding continues as we follow Ann and her friends in their quest to save Xander from Urien and to stop Urien from taking over the five lands. We visit new places and meet new dynamic characters who all play an important role in the story. Existing characters also develop further and we start to get more insight into their past and reasons for their action. Ed (and his beast) especially has a major focus in this story which starts to answer some questions we had about him in book one. I loved the banter, especially between Jax and Ceara. Definitely put a smile on my face in an otherwise serious story.

It is a quick, clean read suitable for upper YA audiences due to some language present. There is little romance and is filled with action and adventure, and like the previous one, you definitely will not want to put it down.

So, would I recommend this series to others? Oh yeah!
And would I reread this in the future? Definitely!

Now to sit and wait patiently for the third…

Oh dear Lordy am I a happy gal after finishing a massive binge-fear of Tiffany Shand’s Bound By Blood, Archdruid, and Bound by Fire (Rogues of Magic Series, Books 1-3). It’s lead character, Ann Valeran, is perfectly crafted and it’s a total pleasure following along as she grows from being the orphaned rightful heir to the archdruid, spiritual leader to the five lands of Almara, who is framed for her parents’ murder, through her becoming archdruid (a minor spoiler there) and dealing with threats to Almara and her friends. There’s wonderful story telling here and a superb supporting cast (special kudos to Ann’s half-brother, Urien, and to Edward Rohn, Ann’s guardian and best friend). A totally fun and wild ride. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend.

Siblings against siblings! A never ending situation whenever power and rule is at stake. And it seems the very one not seeking any part of it is always the one perceived to be the perfect person to rule. This book 2 picks up perfectly with the one remaining sibling left to go against the rule of evil. This author just made it worse on the reluctant hero by having the evil sibling inhabiting the body of a lost loved one. The action and flow are perfect, making this an easy page turner. Yet again, we seek to find the next in series to find out where this leads to. All my reviews are always voluntarily written

What an amazing read! The "Archdruid" picks up right where "Bound by Blood" left us and leads us on a merry ride of danger, adventure, magic and a blooming romance. Action-packed and full of twists and turns, this second installment in the series is so suspensful, I kept biting my nails the whole time reading. The plot thickens, secrets are revealed, the story universe keeps expanding, the characters keep developing, and all for the best. I'm not one to make spoilers, so I'll just say this: if you haven't read the first installment, grab both books and binge-read before the next comes live!!!

This one continues right where the last book left off, so definitely start at the beginning of the series to get the full story.

Just like the first one, lots of action and adventure! The world building and story elements are still intriguing and fun. Loving all the magical aspects, and getting to see the different types of beings in this world. Ann is still kicking butt, but after going head to head with the big bads in the first book, she is under a lot of pressure. Lots of danger going on. Xander was taken, and now his body is possessed by evil Urien. Urien sucks. The evil Urien is just some whiny misogynistic douche; he’s a big baby. Unfortunately, he is also magically powerful. This book continues with Ann and company’s quest to find out how to defeat the big evil.

Ed still won’t accept his beast, so that is making it harder for him to control its actions. He’s still wonderful though. Ed is strong and protective, and always there for Ann. There’s still a pinch of romance going on between Ann and Ed, but both are still being morons. I don’t like how Ann dismisses Ed’s feelings, and that she would even contemplate getting with Jerome. That’s so cold of her; she’s really blind when it comes to how Ed feels, but she’s really just being scared. I still like Ann; she’s still a tough lady! Wasn’t a fan of how quickly Ceara was forgiven, but hopefully Ceara will be able to show she deserves redemption. She is a tough lady too!

Really enjoying this series so far; lots of story to be told still remaining! Entertaining and fun!

Again and Arc for an honest opinion which is my own and not influenced.

Omg more action and adventure with magic. They roll into each other so there is no wondering how the previous book ended if you've not read them straight away.
I don't want this series to end. Another book read way to fast and more housework not completed. Jax and his ex ceria have me thinking ohh la la.

Highly recommended.

Fantastic sequel. So many questions I had from the first one have been explained and I feel like I understand how magic works in this world much more than after finishing the first book.

Ann continues what she started at the end of the first, trying to save her younger brother from her half-brother. She has accepted her role as the archdruid and gained some allies, but only time will tell if that will be enough to eventually defeat Urien.

While this novel chronicles Ann's stepping into the title her father left to her, it was Edward's story that held my attention. This lovelorn former foundling was slowing rediscovering who he is and who he was in the midst of the dog's breakfast that was Ann's family (sorry for the allusion). The best thing that came out of Ann's investiture - the strengthening of the bond betweens Ann and Edward.

Another great addition to the “Rogues of Magic” series!
“Archdruid” is book 2 in the “Rouges of Magic” Series and continues Ann’s quest to free the lands of Almara from Urien’s (her evil half-brother) rule. Tiffany Shand’s creative description of her characters brings them to life and sucks you into the adventure. I loved how this captivating tale kept on the edge of my seat and wanting to see what was going to happen. The main character is Ann, who through tragedy is the Archdruid and has to fight her nemesis Urien to stop him from conquering Almara using dark magic. Ann is the last druid who stands in Urien’s way. “Archdruid” is an exciting, suspenseful, crazy adventure that kept me entertained and reading until the end. “Archdruid” is a great fantasy story that you cannot wait to see what happens next, or exactly who would be a good guy or a bad guy even though it seemed straight forward in the beginning. Can’t wait to start on book 3, “Bound by Fire” to see how all of this ends. I received this book for an honest review.

**I received a digital ARC in exchange for an honest review**

Once again, I’ve been pulled into this world the author created, continuing the story of Ann. I felt it picked up perfectly from where Bound by Blood left off, and was just as good, possibly even better, than its predecessor.

One thing I’ve really liked about this series is the background and history of the world. It’s a creative and well-written world, and the story itself flowed really nicely. I didn’t feel that it was rushed, nor drawn out unnecessarily, which made it an enjoyable read from start to finish.

I really enjoyed seeing the characters develop. Ann and her friends are on a mission to Dave her brother Xander from their half-brother Urien, who will stop at nothing to rule the world. Urien himself is an interesting character, and I think it would be nice to understand his motives a bit more. As for the protagonists, I enjoyed the banter, primarily from Ceara and Jax, as well as the relationship between Ed and Ann.

Overall, is this a book I’d recommend? Yes, for sure. Will I read book 3? Definitely!

This book picks up where the previous one left off. Urien is still at it, even though he is trapped inside of Xander's body. I actually quite enjoyed the conversations that Urien and Xander had in their conjoined minds; much resembled conversation as you might imagine it would be between brothers as different as this. The novel takes sibling rivalry to the next level in the classic fight of good against evil. I loved Ann's strength. The book is very action-oriented with lots of twists and turns that will take you for quite a ride. It ends, unfortunately, at what feels like a cliffhanger to me as it is in the middle of a pivotal scene. I didn't think the end of the blurb was wholly accurate, which is disappointing. However, I'm definitely curious to see where the series goes next.

I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

***I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy***
This is the follow up to Bound by Blood and it was great. It starts off immediately where it leaves off. So as you know Ann is the Archdruid and she wants nothing to do with it. She does not want to accept the fact that she was born to be the Archdruid. She also still has a price on her head because everyone thinks she killed her parents. In the meantime, Urien her half-brother is trying to come up with a plan to hold all power and get rid of her. His spirit is still in Xander’s body and that is funny with the commentary that Xander gives in Urien’s head. Ann is still fighting her feelings for Ed. Someone has got to give soon. Unfortunately, a meeting takes place and it gets crazy. So what is going to happen, I do not know! What I do know is that I can’t wait for book 3.

Ann and the crew are back to stop Urien from taking over the five lands. Only this time Ann seeks the aid of the Druids ran by her uncle. Ed’s beast is getting stronger and more possessive of Ann. But she does not seem to want to admit her true feelings for him. Once they seek out the Druids, Urien makes himself known to them. There is also another threat that no one really has a clue what or who it is! All they know is that it is evil and is responsible for many occurrences over the past five years. Ann is trying to help Ed remember his past. They travel to see Urien but at what cost? This ends in another cliffhanger…it is a fantastic series so far. I am moving on to book three and cannot wait to read more about Ann and her crew. I received this book as an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.

Tiffany Shand is quickly becoming a favorite must read author . Archdruid book 2 in her series she doesn't disappoint and it might be better than the first . From the first sentence to the last you go thru a roller coaster of emotions , the main characters are friends that you remember and still being vested in them and the actions they take and the effects it has on them and their surroundings . The world building draws you into the world and is on point with any author writing today . This is quickly becoming must read fantasy . So since miss out get this series today and leave a review .

This was a great second addition with more action, danger, and mystery that the group must uncover. Ann has finally decided to accept that she is the Archdruid and use the powers she has rejected for so long to help save her brother Xander and stop Urien once and for all. Secrets are slowly coming into the light and Ed finally learn some things about the beast inside him. This story provides some amazing unexpected twist and is highly entertaining. I look forward to reading the next installment.

Ann didn’t want to be the Archdruid but Urien was gathering power, keeping hold of her brother’s spirit and becoming too dangerous. Meanwhile Ed was struggling with his beast denying what he already sensed was the truth about him. Strong characters, action, suspense, doubts, secrets, violence, magic and a mystery behind Urien’s evil plan. Liked the interesting detailed descriptions and narrations that kept me reading. Still intrigued with Edwards, his past and the mysterious characters. Look like Anna and her friends would have to face a big challenge.

This is book two in the series and picks up where the first book ended. Urien is trapped in his half brother Xander's body and still plotting to get rid of his half sister Rhiannon, or Ann as she is now known. Ann is a powerful magic user, the true Archdruid, something that Urien covets. Ann has her hands full, to defeat Urien and his minions and save her half brother Xander. An entertaining story that I enjoyed reading.

I am loving this series! The characters are fun and witty and the banter between them is hilarious at times. Action and Adventure throughout this book keeps you on your toes. This book was hard to put down. It has such a unique storyline at times. The slow burn romance between Ann and Ed is killing me....I can't wait (and hope) for them to get together. I also can't wait for the big U to get his!!

The second book in this series and, so action-packed, you won't honestly believe it. Yeah, rollercoaster!

There's some lovely wee bits of humour here, and you've got sibling rivalry times a million! The author is completely au fait (and more) with multiple twists and turns. A very good, and addictive, read.

I chose this book from a larger selection, which I then voluntarily read and honestly reviewed. All opinions are my own.

Great read. Rhiannon and Ed continue to grow in their powers and both struggle with what that means. Urien begins to regret taking Xander's body. Good character development throughout including some new characters (watch for the wyvern!) Also good world building (and some removing.) I can't wait to read "Bound by Fire"

For a trilogy, this was a pretty good Book 2. There was more action and less whining by both Ann and Ed. I liked that. The book left a good set-up for book 3, and I will be reading it soon.
