Either the Enkelites are going to die or the Onbir. The Shadows fight for a third option.

Displaced from their home by a war fought over their planet, the Enkelites become refugees, under the Federation’s protection. They find a new home with no life, but there’s a machine that’s being tested. A terraformer.

The Shadows arrive to help set things up, but nothing is ever straight forward.

An eco-terrorist is waiting for them, one who they’ve met before, and they didn’t like him then.

The planet is cleared, or is it?

The action starts as soon as they drop their guard. Can Adina reconcile the werewolf within? Has Tc’aarlat found love? Will Jack keep the team together? Who is Zorxia and why does she matter?

Publisher's Note:
On a sad note, Tom Dublin passed away after he’d written the first three books and outlines for several more. We’ve undertaken writing these books for him. We (LMBPN Publishing) are donating one hundred percent of the profit from these books to Tommy’s family.

Best book I’ve read in a while…

This lot do make me chuckle out loud, great characters with large doses of humour wrapping around a great story.

You could do a lot worse - but start at book one.

I was so impressed by this book.

It can't have been easy to try to write a book with another writer's voice, but Craig and Michael succeeded so well with this story, that I almost felt it was Tommy telling it!

A big Thank you has to be said, for supporting Tommy's family so well with this.

As for the story itself, I was impressed, amused, and generally enjoyed every minute reading it.

I loved how each of the crew members of Fortitude, including Solo, the EI/AI, who has evolved from her back up, after the disaster that happened to her in the previous book, and who appears to be determined to develop even more in this story.

Adina had to finally confront her beast inside, and John needed to face up to the human condition - that of growing older gracefully - or, in his case as disgracefully as possible!

The biggest difference, though, has to be with Tc'aarlat. The Yollin who lived a life so full of violence and hate, had to confront the fact that we ALL need somebody to show us that we're not as bad as we think we are!

I'm so glad that my reading list says that I can go onto the third of the books co-written by Craig and Michael, from the outlines provided by Tommy, before he died.

Craig and Michael have made Tommy's voice live on in these books, which are a grand testament to a life well spent, in writing stories that so very many people have been entertained by!

I guess it helps that Craig and Michael are my favourite Kurtherian writers, too, as their own voices always leave me happy after reading anything they write, too!

For Tom Dublin

Thank you Craig and Michael for what you are doing for Tommy's family. This shows you are a family, not just a business. I commend you.
This story is filled with the fun and adventure of any TKU book. Bethany Anne could have flown through to help, and it would have fit naturally. Bon Noh has a noble cause, but with Imis, a pop in the twig is going easy on him. The Shadows are just as much fun as before,I really recommend this book.

Writing a book for another author the way Craig has for Tommy is not an easy thing. Shadow Vanguard is a great series, and Alien Genocide continues strongly. We see a new world, a new enemy, and new relationships. An enjoyable read, and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.

Full of great characters and tons of insults

Intergalactic adventure and insults. My favourite in the book is cock womble. I don't know why it just makes me smile.
Great characters with realistic situations and lots of action.
I look forward to the next one 😀

Great tie in

Great new series, wonder when the next one is due out. I love the kinship with prior stories and the gang I already know.
