Fun series

As always, this series is fun to read, humor, whit, mystery, secrets to spill, it has it all. All the characters have personality, each makes a mark in THE story, Lorraine is a great character, quite an imagination from THE author, the ending is intriguing, surprising, can't wait for the next book to find out what happens next.

As I've said concerning all the books in this series, best one yet! They just keep getting better. Each time, I've looked forward to the next. While that's still true, especially with the cliffhanger, I'm also a little sad, knowing it will be the last!
I hope you have plans for a new series G.C. Allen, because we need more of your stories!
I think we all an author we will automatically pick up, preorder, even before we know what it's about. Ms Allen is one of those authors!!

OH. MY. GOSHES!!! This book is a nonstop, mile-a-minute, page turning, can't get enough of Lorraine Innis adventure! It started out with a wait!!! What???? I couldn't believe the plot twist that I never saw coming. What a surprise! G.C. Allen has an amazing story telling talent that redefines the words "book adventure". It's a wild ride that never slows down, makes me gasp for breath with the turn of events, and shocks my inner most being at what happens with the characters! G.C. Allen is right....buckle up, hold on tight, and be ready for the craziest, zaniest and most shocking ride yet in this series. There is no doubt in my mind that when I opened the pages of the next book in the series, The Girl In the Blood Red Stilettos, I was going to read another unputdownable novel filled with mind boggling, unimaginable twists and turns that make it a unique escapade in G.C. Allen's style.

In Book 6, I met back up with many characters that I love....especially Lorraine as she continues on her "mission" to find out who is responsible for Martina's death. The storyline takes a detour that gets her off track but is so vital to where she needs to go. And Valerie! She's out to get to the "top" no matter what it takes or how she gets there. More surprises and twists galore! There are also characters who I despise and are diabolical....Albrecht Eckner for one. G.C. Allen's characters are all very unique, outrageous and unforgettable. The same goes for the scenarios and storylines they all find themselves in. Storylines that include potato crisps, pheromones, a Pez dispenser, Lorraine's famous anagrams, blood red stilettos! And so much, much more that keep the story flying through the pages.

One of the many aspects I enjoy from G.C. Allen's writing is the profound and moving passages that touch my heart. She does this through her character Li Gao and his compassion in this book. What amazing chapters that are filled with advice that I can take to heart and apply in my life. It's a great author who can reach in and bring out emotions like that. I have said this before and I really feel strongly about saying it again. I enjoy G.C. Allen's writing style and how it makes me feel. It's a feel good kind of read that goes in so many unexpected ways. G.C. Allen has an amazing gift.

And then it brings me right back to what I said in the beginning...OH. MY. GOSHES! Wait!!! What???? I have to find out what happens next in Book 7, The Girl in the Sky Blue Plimsolls???? Perfect cliff hanger! I certainly am glad I started this adventure in The Kind of a Girl. I already know I don't want the adventure to ever end but I realize it will, which is ok. I can't begin to express how much I really hope other readers open up the series and are pulled into the world of Lorraine Innis like I have been. I highly recommend this series. It's one of the best I have ever read.

I want to gratefully express my thanks to G.C. Allen for the honor and privilege of reading this fantastic novel. Words are inadequate for what it means to be a part of this adventure. This is more than a five star read for me. All thoughts and opinions in this review are my heartfelt own.

The best yet!

Lorraine In is is back with some beloved characters, some shady characters, some murderous, or not so murderous characters reside in these pages! Where long lost cousins meet, fake cousins scheme and a lost love may have resurrected in the form of a Vice President nominee??? Perfume that has strange effects on users and the kidnapping of a dedicated aide to Lorraine. Where's Cheney in all this? This series has been just a wonderful, funny, sad and sometimes silly, favorite of mine of all time!

Once again Lorraine is the center of attention, even it she doesn’t want to be. She wanted to make Chesney disappear, but then she didn’t. How can Lorraine live on , with Chesney still in the picture! You will have all kinds of emotions throughout this book. All the twists and turns and being on the edge of your seat! You will try to guess, and then second guess! This book is so entertaining you will love it! I highly recommend it but would suggest start reading The Lorraine Innis series from the beginning with book one!

Oh my!!

This book had me hooked from the very start!! Poor Lorraine still thinks Valerie has her best interests at heart. Valerie has turned out to be a very sneaky woman. Poor Ms Clot got caught up in a comedy of errors. I can't wait to read the next book to find out what happens next!! Great book G C Allen!!!

The Girl in the Blood Red Stilettos by G C Allen is the sixth book in her outrageously funny The Lorraine Innis Series. This series is one to read and help you forget the woes of this world it will keep you engaged and entertained, you will laugh out loud until you turn the last page. This is a book and series you don’t want to miss. The story was very well written the quirky characters were well defined and likable.
