Wow! I was so eager to read this book from the synopsis, and was giddy on release day! Have you ever started reading a book, and become so captivated with everything that is going on, that you feel yourself being immersed into the story? Well..... that is how I felt with this read! There were so many variables, and moving parts, no one was who they seemed to be, are there any friends or is everyone an enemy? Who can Isabella trust? What is trust? What is love? OMG! What a thrilling and enjoyable ride this was! But I need more..... that ending left me thinking that more is to come! I hope I get it! Great story!! 👍👍👍
This book certainly kept me guessing. It was very well written. I just don’t understand how Isabella was so naïve. I had my suspension of who was behind the whole ordeal and I was right. There was one part that was a total shock, but I can’t wait to see how the next part of this story plays out.
Damn, damn, damn, damn, damn! The best one yet from Ms. B. I'm not sure which character is more ruthless, mysterious, or even truly someone to believe in. This was an emotional read. First feeling afraid for Isabella, then understanding of her fears and need for answers. Then annoyed for her insecurities but understanding all the same. Not understanding her need for secrecy when everything around her was mysterious to say the least. All I can say is there has to be a SEQUEL Brenda!
This was an interesting story line. The way the characters acted made you feel as though they were all hiding something or being devious. It was a wild ride of deception and deceit. The ending was an unexpected surprise.
