📘 READ IF...
you are starting to get deep into your studies for the CISSP exam. This 9th Edition of the Shon Harris (RIP) classic is pretty close to exclusively responsible for me passing the exam. To me, it was the best and most comprehensive study resource I could have asked for. Note that the book is also much longer than most other CISSP Study books out there.

you're on the last mile of your CISSP journey; this book is epic and takes a while to wade through.
⏳ WHEN TO READ IN YOUR STUDIES
I passed the CISSP exam in October 2024 and found this book most helpful at the beginning of my studies. It explains all the topics of the exam better than any other material I've read; and also, in much more depth. The narrative is also quite enjoyable, to me.
💡 MY TAKEAWAY
One of the best study materials for your CISSP, hands down. This book was not updated for the 2024 update of the exam; most topics are still covered in depth (such as 3rd Party Risk Management). You will learn everything you need for the CISSP Exam in this book and a lot for the real-world appliance of it's concepts, too!
