Rate this book
Imagine the world in a few years. Computers are smart, they know what we want from them and can talk to us. They have become perfect servants. But some people want more. They want machines to be like us, be able to contradict, have true personalities. Jonathan Lorentz, billionaire, scientist and entrepreneur, is on a long vacation in paradise when the government calls for help. His old adversary Morton has created an artificial mind that has killed a man. When Lorentz comes face to face with this entity, he knows his worst nightmares have come true. The enemy is already on the run and the entire human race may have to pay for the hubris of one man. Also, it's slowly dawning on Lorentz that he has become the prime target of the most powerful mind on earth.
