Now, wait just a damn minute! In the words of those annoying azz Millennials, IKYFL!!! Chiiiiiile, words cannot explain how blown my mind is right now! 🤯🤯🤯 Talk about a plot twist! When I tell y'all Friend U Can Keep had me clutchin' all my pearls! Between the unexpected plot twist and the sex scenes, I needed a carton of cigarettes and a case of wine when it was over. I so enjoyed this book from from start to finish. It was just so entertaining and deliciously freaky. Lawd, Kamira and Caesar were hot! The chemistry between them was mind blowing to say the least. Caesar is definitely book bae. The way he walks, the way he talks, and the way he looks at Kamira will have you uttering that age old phrase, "Lord, I've seen what you've done for others." Thank God the plot twist explained the personality change Zion went through because, I was over here askin', "Harpo, who dis man?!!!" The Zion in this book is NOT the Zion in Whisper A Promise. They were like two completely different people. I was just happy to finally get an explanation because, I was not a happy camper with this Zion. Friend U Can Keep was everything! It was racy, raunchy, sexy, and tantalizing. I couldn't get enough and was more than a little sad when it ended. I know Alia and Dante are already married but, I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for a book on them.

IKYFL. Ain't no way!!! Wtf was that!? I was sooo confused after the club scene in Miami, cause in my head I'm thinking, WHAT!?! Ceasar, why would you do that? I was also worried about Zion, cause he's not the Zion I know from the previous book. (I definitely read this series out of order). But I'm glad I read this book. To say this story was nasty is an understatement. The scenes were outrageous 🥵🔥. This was really entertaining and I know I can count on Ms. Monique to deliver.

*Dumps Cold water on head* 🚿🚿🤯🤯Hunnay!!!!! This was unexpected to say the least!!!! The scene after the club will forever be embedded in my brain because whew chile!!!!!!!!! 🤭🤭🤭Caesar and Kamira were nasty!!! The chemistry between the two was insane! I wish there was more! The story left me unfulfilled at the end. Everything leading up to the plot twist had me on such a high and then even after but the ending was kinda boring lol. The story lit a fire and then fizzled a bit. I will say that so many parts of the book were so d@mn good that the ending gets a pass. I need to hose myself off after this read!

Kamira and Caesar’s raunchy friends to lovers tale definitely ate. 🔥 I really didn’t care for the plot twist, but I don’t think it took much away from the story. I’ll be thinking about that scene after the club for a lil minute. 😅

This quick read was errrythang! 🔥 Loved Kamira's sass! She was a professional and about her business, but yet ratchet at the same time! 😂 The sisterhood between her and Alia was special. CAESAR! He was bae, for real for real! That man in the streets, but had a soft side that only Kamira was privy to. Kamira and Caesar had been harboring these feelings for a long time, and being on that road trip brought everything to the forefront. Dreams vs reality! Hmmmm..... sometimes they are one in the same. Really enjoyed this one. Hopefully Alia and Dante will get their story next! 👍👍👍

I had to read this after reading someone else’s review on the steaminess. They were not wrong!
HOWEVER… that quick switcheroo the author pulled took a really exciting read down a notch. In effort to avoid a spoiler. I will just say, prior to the switcheroo I was feeling that version of Caesar. The alternative wasn’t as exciting and less something.
Plus I felt like it threw off the vibe. I love what she was going for… just wish she hadn’t.
But there was some *clears throat* memorable scenes written. Very memorable😬

The book was entertaining I wanted a bit more as far as the storyline even the twist towards the end . It started off so good and interesting even the character connection was there but I feel like it got lost along the way. The momentum of the story changed dramatically for me. But I did enjoy the book.

Great story
This was a really good story. I’m normally not a fan of short stories or novellas. But the author did her thang with this book. She managed to tell a full and complete story in such a short story. I loved Caesar and Kamira’s connection. Great story!

Maaaaaaaannnnn this story had me gasping, clutching my pearls, needing a drink, errthang!!!! Ma'am! You did the damn thing with this book! I enjoyed it from start to finish. That after shower scene had me bugging!!!!😳 Ceasar and Kamira's chemistry was 🔥🔥🔥 so hot!!!! It was fun watching them circle each other and then pounce. Was not at all ready for that plot twist...😳🤯🤯🤯🤯 But this was a really fun story! Loved it!

This book was slightly different from what I’m used to from this author. There were twists and turns and then reality (thank God😩), then HEA. At the point of the twists, I ain’t gonna lie, I almost stopped reading. I was like, what in the world😤😤🤣👏🏽, but thank God it was just a twist😉. This was my first book from this author and I just say I'm very impressed! This held my attention from page1! It was so good I didn't want it to end!! I loved it! Now I have to find her catalogue because I have to read more! I rarely give authors 5⭐ but she deserved it!
