Wonderful example of design history. Covers clothing and everyday design from 1947 (the Dior New Look)to 1960 with particular focus on the US, the UK, Sweden and Denmark, and Italy. This is the extended, annotated catalog from an exhibit in the the early 1990s in Manchester, England. I wish I had a book of this quality from every decade of the 20th century.
