I’ve learned my lesson when it comes to dating actors. This ring on my finger isn’t real—it’s to stop any advances dead in their tracks. The moment any guy sits in my makeup chair, he sees my ring, and that pulls up my self-inflicted barrier. It keeps me safe. It keeps my job secure. It keeps everything exactly as it should be.
Until I start on the set of a movie featuring the newest hot shot leading man, Sebastian Stanik. He’s just like every other self-righteous actor…except for the way he reaches past my barrier and awakens parts of me I’d thought were long gone.
Maybe a little fun won’t kill me, but the moment this movie wraps, the barriers are going back up.

I wouldn’t normally put this on my Goodreads “read” shelf, it was a moment of TikTok-induced weakness fueled by a kindle unlimited subscription that made me pick it up, but a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do to meet her extreme reading challenge goal.
This was… not good. But it was short so there’s that.
To be honest, I didn't enjoy this one as much as I did the first in the series. It had the same witty banter between the characters don't get me wrong, and that "moment" where everything that seemed to fall apart came together, but I just cannot see people in real life acting the way these two did. Especially when you consider the fact that one of them is a celebrity that despite not yet being super popular is still well known. I just cannot see someone on the brink of everything they have ever wanted engaging in something as sordid as what these two did, and in the middle of a crowded dancefloor nonetheless.
Aside from that, I enjoyed the way Sebastian tried to get to know Quinn. It was fun watching them navigate their "not relationship" while knowing they were falling for each other. I just wish (as I did with the first book in this series), that this one would have been longer so that we could have spent more time getting to know these characters.
In the end however, I would read more from this author.
This was a good way to spend a little bit of time, definitely an easy read because it’s short, simple and to the point. I’ve enjoyed a few other books by this author and this one was pretty good as well, I gave it four stars. I did prefer the first book in this series because I do feel like it had a little bit more romance than this one does, where as this one is more skipped around I think. It definitely felt shorter for sure. So I’m giving it four stars instead of five because I do feel like there was more to the relationship in the first book rather than this one. I still like the ending and the couple so it still gets four stars but I did like it a little bit less than the other books of hers that I’ve read.
as someone who does not read many books, especially not many books of this variety this book was short enough too be enjoyable but not for the right reasons. the scenes of an adult nature are worded in such a way its almost humorous. in addition too this the filler in between was ever so boring. it was a repeat cycle of these two phases for most the book. however the end was actually funny and wholesome so it boosted the rating.
TL;DR essentially a wattpad story where the author is a horny pre-teen.
Very short book—took me an hour to read. I was not expecting it to be this dirty. The character “based” on Sebastian Stan was nothing like him and made it very cringey to read. The writing was very elementary and did not have substance, nor did the plot. The entire plot was fluff and did not hold interest. Not a bad book if you’re looking for something quick, easy, and smutty, but if you want a real romance novel, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
This is book two in the Celebrity Crush series, but it can be read as a standalone.
As with the other books in this series, the hero is based on a Hollywood heartthrob, in this case it is Sebastian Stan. If I'm honest, this is the reason I read the series as the three actors used as my favourites.
This book is an easy, couple of hours read. A perfect escape. Loved it!
Second verse, same as the first. These books could benifit so much with a larger page count. I know the storyline is just for fun, but even with fun, cute, little romcoms, I want to see the relationship evolve. When a chapter starts with "Over the next few weeks...", I cringe a little. It's so much wasted potential for plot development and storytelling.
So I got sucked in by the whole “we all know who this is *wink wink*” romance bit for TikTok. It was ok. I maybe would have been more like… ok with it if there wasn’t this weird not even half baked ex husband plot thrown in at the very very end.
Again: smut, smut, and more smut. I do like the whole knight in shining armor/Cinderella meet-cure aspect of it all, and the dirty talk in Romanian was a nice touch. But it’s mostly the same as the other two. Simply smut.
I read the first book in this series and so I decided to give the rest of it a go. This one I definitely wish was longer. It felt a bit rushed. Was still a great read between books. Didn't take that long to finished. Had good spice.
Okay this was a guilty pleasure read. No doubt about it. Very good, just wish it was a longer novel and would’ve been cool to have some time with Sebastian filming on set. I know that’s not the point though…
I think this had potential to be amazing if it was more of a full length novel. But it was short sweet and fun. Excited to explore some of her other works.
