What can I say, absolutely wonderful book. I'm loving this series to the point I can't put it down. Read this in 3 days and already wishing the next book is out so I could keep reading. Terri Reid's writing pulls you in and you feel like your in the story with these wonderful characters. You feel their emotions and find yourself laughing, wording and crying with them. If you want a wonderful series, this is a must.
Love all of her stories. Very memorable characters. Each story has a wonderful flavor. This one tells the story of the south and it's difficulties with race and prejudgment but ends with a decent amount of hope. Good read. Great characters and great southern charm.
I hated turning to the last page, I just didn’t want it to end. This book is the perfect blend of southern sensibilities and lovable characters. Y’all know here in the south we don’t hide our crazies, we dress ‘em up and put ‘em on the front porch. This book won’t disappoint, you will turn the pages falling further and further under the spell of the marvelous characters as this saga unfolds. Just can’t wait for the next visit with L J, Van and Kyle as well as the lovely ladies from the book club. Thank You Terri Reid for creating such wonderful characters and well written adventures.
Her characters are relatable and beloved. Her story lines are intricately connected and keep readers turning pages. I never sleep the night of a Terri Reid New release...and i love it!

This series is running neck and neck with the Mary O’Reilly series! I mean as much as I try, I can’t ever put the books down and I end up just waiting for the next book!!!! Please keep them coming.
Just like Mary O’Reillys series it will keep you in suspense. Now I know that you are not going to end this book without letting us know what happens to LJ and Amanda Lee are you.
The story invites you in and captures your attention! You feel like your friends with the characters and can't wait to see what happens. I truly hope this series continues!!
This is book 3 in the Shear Disater Mystery series. In true Terri Reid style, she brings together the paranormal and investigating a murder flawlessly. She also gives you the feelings of hope and love within the family, whether it is the family you are born in or the family created by life. Her style of writing and shorter chapters keeps the flow moving forward.
L.J., our main character, has gone from grieving the loss of her mother to battling against forces of evil known as the Sons Of The Mississippi. With the help of family and friends, she searches for answers that lands her into the middle of two murder investigations. Will she be able to find the strength to save everyone?
I guessing there will be more in this series. And I’m going to be so happy when that happens. She wouldn’t just leave us hanging without finishing the story of LJ and Van.
Great mix of mystery, romance, and supernatural. Terri Reid has a way of making the reader feel they are right there with the characters experiencing the happenings.
Great read, very fun and engaging series. A little humor, paranormal and romance all in one. As with all of her series, very entertaining, hard to put down read.
I feel like this series is really starting to hit it's stride. Most of the main characters are pretty well fleshed out at this point and the introduction of some new ones has been fun as well.
I love how the story is slowly twisting and unraveling at the same time in each installment in the series. Each book makes me suspect a new person and fall in love with another one.
I love this series! I can’t wait to see what comes next! LJ, Van & Kyle are such great characters and the book makes them feel like they’re my friends too. It’s not often than a book can pull me in and have me feeling like I’m right there in the story. Terri Reid is a master at that type of writing!
