3.5⭐
4th book in the series and pretty much the same. Plot is so-so, I am actually more hooked in Nate's death omen than the main deaths in the book 😅.
I do like that we are following several stories within the series ~ Laura's gift and her struggle coming to terms about it, the story of Amy, Nate's forthcoming death (at least Laura now has an idea how it will happen), and Laura's child custody issues. Kinda helps get to know Laura more.
What I don't like tho, is how much of Laura's ''being a good detective'' is actually due to the fact that she is having visions. When in a bind, instead of harnessing good 'ol detective work, she finds something (anything, actually) that can trigger the visions to help her solve the crime, and the situations are really framed in a way that appears as if she had no other choice but to 'psych' it all out 😅
Killer motive (thus far): Revenge and survivor's guilt
