Aaron Laughlin is young, rich, and a star among the Nashville political elite. That’s why nobody is more surprised than him when he ends up abandoned at the altar. But here he is, dumped on the most important day of his life, embarrassed in front of his entire city, and left with a bruised ego in place of a broken heart.

Needing time away to regroup after the fiasco that could very well derail his career, he decides to head to the mountains and enjoy his honeymoon on his own. Only, he isn’t alone. His imposing new bodyguard refuses to let Aaron out of his sight, or his reach, and the way his dark eyes follow Aaron’s every move gets under his skin in a way he can’t shake, and isn’t sure he wants to.

Isaac Chinn is practical, professional and takes pride in being good at his job. He’s never even considered breaching the client/bodyguard boundary, which is why being stuck on the side of a mountain with the gorgeous jilted groom that isn’t quite as straight as he’d like people to think, is such an imposition. The mayor might annoy and intrigue him in equal measure but Isaac knows better than to cross the line.

Only, the heat that flares between them refuses to be ignored. They’re like gasoline and a match, destined to consume each other if they get too close. But when faced with the cold of loneliness, is it worth the risk to feel the heat of passion, even if it might destroy them both?

*Please note this is a full length M/M romance novel. While it is the third installment of the All Saints Security Series it can be read as a standalone and you do not need to have read the previous books in the series to enjoy Aaron and Isaac's story. However, Aaron does play an important role in book two so if you'd like to know more of his backstory before jumping into this one you can read Impulsive Saint which is a MF romance featuring Tyler St. James and Ashtyn Echols, the bride who leaves Aaron at the altar and sets this book in motion.*

Imposing Saint is book three in the All Saints Security Series by Jess Bryant. This is a M/M bodyguard/client romance that can be read as a complete stand alone. I have not read either of the previous two books in this series. Wow! Just Wow! This might just be my favorite Jess Bryant book so far! These two are just so amazing together, the chemistry is crazy hot. I love bodyguard romances and this was just perfect!

Aaron Laughlin is twenty seven years old and is the mayor of Nashville, Tennessee. Aaron has always had his life planned out. He always knew he wanted to be in politics, this just being the first step. He is about to marry his long time girlfriend which is another step in his long term plan. She is the Senator’s daughter and fits perfectly into his planned future. Only, minutes before they are scheduled to say their vows in front of all of Nashville’s elite, she cancels the wedding, leaving Aaron with no idea how to move forward.

Isaac Chinn is one of the body guards employed by All Saints Security Agency and is thirty six years old. He is assigned to watch over Aaron the night before the wedding and on the wedding day. When chaos happens, Isaac steps up to help Aaron figure out what to do next. Aaron needs to get out of town, out of the media spotlight. So he decides to go to his family’s cabin in Colorado for some alone time. Only he won’t be alone with his body guard along for the ride.

The night Aaron and Isaac met, the night before the wedding, they both realized they had an immediate ease with each other. A peacefulness. When everything happened on his wedding day, Aaron didn’t want Isaac with him. He wanted to be alone. But as their trip began, he had to admit it was pleasant having him there. He kept him calm, got him out of his head. It didn’t take long for both Isaac and Aaron to realize that something was happening between them. That there was an attraction there that no matter how hard they tried to deny it, it was only growing stronger. Aaron led the public to believe he was straight. But it’s obvious that Aaron has been keeping a secret.

Aaron quickly realizes that his life has been gray until Isaac came into it. Now it’s full of vibrant color. His feelings for Isaac are more than he ever imagined love could be. Their feelings grow quickly for each other. But, Aaron thinks his life as a politician, his hopes and dreams for his career, require him to be a straight man. That the public would never accept the truth. So, is their time together going to end when they return to Nashville? Or is there a way for them to continue their relationship?

I can’t say enough how much I loved these two. How much I loved this book! And wow was their chemistry amazing! I could not stop reading. Then, that epilogue! Perfection. This book was a complete joy to read. I loved every page of it.

DNF @ 29%. No rating.

I'm really bored and I don't like how the author is writing the story but it had some good vibes so I don't know if things would improve later, which is why I decided not to rate it.

The MCs are interesting and I liked their dynamic. I wasn't fond of the excessive info-dumping about other side characters from the series, but that only happened in the early section. My bigger problem was that both MCs do A LOT of internal monologuing while there's very little plot. The MCs also have some conversations where they get to know each other better and this would have been great to see...except the conversations happened off-page. This was done 3 times. So instead of learning interesting info about the MCs and getting an interesting plot, we only get repetitive scenes where the MCs think about how attracted they are to the other person but how a relationship with them wouldn't be right (for various reasons). It's something I've read hundreds of times before and it's not enough to interest me.

There was also a LOT of fuss made out of Aaron's sexuality, which didn't work for me. Right from the start, the MCs are attracted to each other but we're reminded over and over again by Aaron that he's 'NOT gay'. He's very, very NOT gay. But...he's also constantly thinking about how attractive the bodyguard MC is and how nobody can find out 'the truth' etc etc etc. Finally...The Truth is revealed and we learn that.....

Anyway, even if the sexuality reveal wasn't done in such a strange way, the story was boring and barely anything had interesting had happened post-wedding-disaster so I decided to quit.

Aaron the politician, ambitious, jilted bridegroom and Isaac, bodyguard, all around good guy fall deeply in like with each other. Aaron won’t jeopardize his political future and Isaac won’t become involved with a closeted man again. They are both being ridiculous because if two people belonged together it’s them.

Two really good characters. The story flowed right away for me. I liked the “will they, won’t they vibe. Their hot times were just that, hot. Their introspective times led so much to their character development. It was easy to read and the good writing made the whole story.

I haven’t read the other books in the series but I didn’t feel lost.

3.5 stars. After being dumped at the altar, he disappears to a faraway place and got stuck with a bodyguard. A kind beautiful bodyguard. Aaron even stole a drunken kiss from him.
Isaac will stay professional, a drunken kiss is nothing.
The tension is building and an encounter is inevitable.
When Aaron wants Isaac to be his lover and personal bodyguard Isaac agrees.
But loving Aaron only behind closed doors and not openly is devastating.

It’s a friendly read, decent, mature, only, at 30% there’s not much happening. I skipped to more event-fuller pages. The second half worked way better for me.
Isaac was a solid character and Aaron was less but that was okay, they were different and there was progress.
Overall a nicely written story that took me some time to get involved but when I did it was great!

As a lover of this series, I had hoped Isaac would get his own story. He is one of the bodyguards at All Saints Security and is openly gay, and his character is completely endearing. He doesn’t hide who he is and refuses to have a relationship with anyone who doesn’t own up to their true self. That is until he meets Aaron, a young man who happens to be the Mayor of Nashville. They meet when Aaron is jilted at the altar and Isaac protects him from the media. But Isaac has a hard time hiding his attraction for Aaron but knows he must. But Isaac feels that there is more to Aaron and that he is hiding something. Can Isaac show Aaron to be his true self?

As these two embark on a relationship of uncharted waters, this story shows how Aaron is coming to terms with his newfound feelings for Isaac and for Isaac knowing he is going into a relationship in which he may have to hide who he is, which is against his beliefs. But Isaac will do anything to protect Aaron. Let me also mention that their chemistry is so sizzling, the steam rises off the pages!

This story shows the struggles of their relationship because of the way the world views them, it shows how even in this day and age, they feel they have to hide who they really are because society isn’t always so accepting. But this author shows and proves that no matter your sexuality, that love is love and that’s all that matters. Aaron and Isaac are incredible characters who prove that you can have it all and I couldn’t help but fall in love with them. My heart is so full!

Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. Isaac security detail, just took a dramatic turn as the Mayor had a run-away bride style crash course! Something draws Isaac to Aaron more then any client has before only was he willing to cross a line that was just a dream before? It was so cute how Aaron was watching his bodyguard thanks to his now ex-fiance father, wishing but not very hard that he would stay in Nashville instead of going to Colorado.  Wondering how Aaron is going to recover after Ashtyn left him at the alter? Wonder know more as the he travels his own path to lick his wounds or would that be have a Isaac lick his wounds? It breaks my heart the thing holding them back is fear.. but when they match up so well sparks fly but can it last? Yep this was a drunk Isaac is a cute hilarious Isaac!

Unexpected. Aaron is left at the alter and his bodyguard Isaac helps him leave the building before the guest find out the ceremony was called off. They go to Aaron's house in the mountains. While there the two find that sometimes things aren't what they seem.

Isaac is an openly gay bodyguard with the All Saints Security and Aaron hasn't been honest about who he is. He's finding he is more bisexual than he previously thought. Will these two strong men be able to overcome the obstacles in their way or will they fail to make a go of it.

I'm fairly new to Jess Bryant's books, and after reading this one, I need more. This is the 3rd book in the All Saints Security series, but the first one I've read. I absolutely loved this book. The connection between Aaron & Isaac was amazing, and I loved the flow of the story. The writing kept me engaged and not wanting to put the book down. I can't wait to read more of this series.

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily gave my honest review.

I loved every second of Isaac and Aaron romance. This book was in my opinion a perfect storm. The characters were easy to feel for and connect with, the story was beautifully written and easy to invest in and the feels and swoon abundant. This story is rich with emotion, tension and inner turmoil. My heart ached for these two as they struggled who they were, how they felt and what that meant for them as individuals and as a couple. I was deeply moved by this romance. There were no quick or easy answers and that meant that this romance felt painfully genuine and realistic. Truly wonderful. This is my objective review that I am posting of my own accord.

What a wonderful read!

I finished this beauty today and I have so many feelings! I loved the mixture of banter, angst, and romance!

"Aww, I'm your favorite?" Isaac teased, fully expecting Aaron to fire back with another sarcastic remark but he surprised him when instead he sighed and leaned forward to rest his chin on Isaac's shoulder.

Isaac is a wonderful character and by far my favorite. He is a bodyguard, very smart, observant, does his job diligently, and doesn't give opinions unless asked. Isaac is also gay and out, has been for years, and is not willing to hide who he truly is. Aaron, on the other hand, is extremely wealthy, a politician, popular, very handsome, and smart. He is also bisexual but describes himself as mostly straight as during his life there have been only three men who have captured his attention and due to this, he believes to be mostly straight.

The relationship in this book is a mixture of slow and fast built. We have Isaac protecting Aaron during Aaron's wedding ceremony where he is left by his runaway bride. Isaac expresses a certain degree of attraction for Aaron which is a mixture of physical and due to Aaron's position as a politician. The description of this attraction is similar to what we would have towards a famous person - we like them because they are attractive and because of their position in society [singer, actor, politician, etc]. So, we start with this small attraction which is superficial and slowly turns into love.

Once they go into isolation for Aaron to hide from the world and recover, we see a relationship built and Aaron's expressing his sexuality and trying not to jump Isaac because they both understand is not professional and would only bring trouble. Isaac was amazing, patient, open to expressing his feelings, and listen to Aaron. Aaron on the other hand was a mixture of "I can't do this" and "I want to do this". The sexual attraction was good but is not a "let me jump your bones" but a "we need to seriously think about this before we do something dumb".

He couldn't remember ever wanting anyone this way. So completely. So overwhelmingly. So that everything else came in a distant second and the only thing he could think of was the kisses they had shared and how he could possibly get more of them.

While in isolation they fall in love and then the bubble is popped when they have to go back into reality and is here where we see how Aaron's actions are selfish but understandable - this is a boy who never got his mother's affections, who was raised by nannies, whose father died and has been into the political environment for years where he had to show a side who is not 100% himself. He is seen as a straight man in a Southern state where not everyone is open to gay relationships and as a politician, it may bite him on the ass if he comes out. So, while his request to Isaac to keep the relationship in secret breaks Isaac - he understands and he's willing to try for Aaron.

Back into the reality and political world, the angst is strong but very well done. While Aaron is egotistical and wants to as Vaughn puts it "both have the cake and eat it", Isaac realizes he can't live a life where he has to hide who he is and as much as he loves Aaron he needs to remove himself from his life because he can't make Aaron choose between love and politics.

I love how real the second part of the book felt - them going back to reality, confronting a life where they had to hide their love, meet in secret whenever they could, and navigating the political field. I loved Isaac's strength and his love for Aaron - how he tried for the relationship to work in secret, and how he realized it was killing him so he had to move because he couldn't make Aaron choose between something he loved and someone he loved. I also loved how Aaron realized how selfish he had been and worked to have a future with Isaac. Coming out was stressful but I think it was well done as it showed a united front and I was all for it.

Aaron is not a character you will always like - he is charming and charismatic but also selfish and a coward, but he grows up and realizes if he wants Isaac he will need to do something that benefits both of them and not just him. Isaac is wonderful from start to finish, is not afraid to call Aaron's bullshit when he must, and is very sure of himself and his feelings. Together they were adorable, the build-up was slow and fast at the same time and I enjoyed it very much! Plus, the epilogue was everything!

I received a copy of this book from Gay Romance Reviews, and this is my honest review.

the angst in every bit of their happy moments!! i love it!

Aaron and Isaac were so sweet together, and the built up and chemistry was great. i admire Aaron for taking the big leap and putting himself out there for love. and i admire Isaac for being strong enough to walk away even though it hurts so bad.

also ++ the bi representation wasnt brush off.

however, there are some unsatisfying things.

i'm really torn, i absolutely love the story and characters, but i'm debating a 3 or 4 stars. so i'm going with 3.5.

I read strictly MM romance and haven't read the other stories in this book. With that being said, this definitely works as a stand alone. There was enough back story given to have an understanding of who everyone was and their roles.

I loved Isaac. He was fiercely protective of his clients, but he was also a bit soft and sweet when it came to Aaron.

The chemistry and attraction was hot and super well written. This is a new to me author so I'm not sure if they've written MM in the past. This book proves it's not an issue.

If you love body guard/client books, you'll enjoy this one. The relationship that develops because of forced proximity and what happens when the real world comes charging back at them is just so good.

Imposing Saint is a great book! I loved how the series went from Ashtyn's story to Aaron's story after being left at the alter was a great idea. Having read both stories now, I liked Aaron and Issac's more.

Issac was interesting because he knew what the downfall of their relationship would be when he entered into it, but I doubt he could have predicted how it ended. Having the main character know the red flags and continue anyway was a great twist compared to the usual storylines.

Aaron had a lot to work through himself regarding his sexuality and whether or not he wants to go public with his sexuality. However, his downfall was mainly focusing on what he wanted and his feelings without much regard to Issac. While Imposing Saint could have been like any other body guard story, it stood out by using common themes and making them stand out by being original and pulling me into the story!

this was a nice read but the story was very predictable. I would have loved if there would have been a bit of a different spin to the story.

nevertheless, I liked Aaron and Isaac and loved how their relationship developed. this was very well done and it was fun and sexy. it would have been nice to get a bit more of couple time at the end. but I liked the epilogue.
I also liked the secondary characters - and if I would like to read MF at the moment, I would love to read the other books in this series.

it seems to be the first MM story by this author, and she did very well without stereotyping anyone.

all in all a very nice read.

Thump, thump, thump, thump yes that is the sound of my beating heart in the very first chapter of this beautiful story.
If you’ve read the other Saint stories you’ll certainly be familiar with the other half of one of the story lines. If you haven’t read them don't worry it totally stands on it’s own. However, I can almost guarantee you’ll be going back to read the other books and you will enjoy every minute of them all.
Isaac Chinn, is the handsome bodyguard from All Saints Security, whose current assignment is to guard the mayor of Nashville, Aaron Laughlin, on his wedding day.
Aaron Laughlin, is the well guarded, always on point, politically savvy, suave mayor and intended groom waiting, waiting and waiting for his bride.
Surprise! The bride took off! What to do? Escape yourself and take your bodyguard to what else? Guard your body with his life. From there the story takes off. Actually there’s some pretty heady stuff that happens before the story really starts.
Talk about complications, self discovery and coming to terms with who you really are. Then there’s the heart. The heart wants what it wants. How many times do you tell yourself to use your head above our heart who can say they follow that advice all the time?
It’s funny, I’m guessing some people were upset with one of the characters in this story but I never was. I can understand not understanding who you are and what is really important to you. That’s all you’re getting from me as far as storyline. You need to read and enjoy this book for yourself.
I read this story in one sitting and am sorry I did because I didn’t want it to end. I smiled, teared up, had many awww moments, felt the heartbreak and swooned. My hand went to my heart several times. There were moments that were tender and hot but they were never lascivious or salacious. It was so genuine. It truly touched me and went straight to my heart.
I know I used the word heart a lot in this review and it’s not from lack of vocabulary. This is one of the most heartwarming books I’ve ever read! I can’t wait to see where the next book in this series takes us but I can’t wait for the journey! I hope it’s soon. I have a feeling I’ll be rereading this book very soon. Yes, it’s that good!

Imposing Saint is part of the All Saints Security series but can be read as a standalone.

I really liked Isaac, he was a sweetheart, too good for Aaron, who was a selfish twat for most of the book. Unfortunately, by the time he actually pulled his head out of his shapely behind, it was too little too late for me. They had chemistry, but the way Aaron pretended Isaac to hide with him in his very deep closet and just took and took without giving much back, just made me angry at him.

I loved Isaac's friends, especially Vaughn. They were so supportive and protective of their friend. I didn't like Ashtyn, Aaron's ex-fiancée either, but at least she made Aaron see the proverbial light, so there's that at least.

I really wanted to like this book more than I did, but between the instalove and my dislike of Aaron, I couldn't really get into it. It was well-written, though, and interesting enough that I kept reading until the end, so give it a try and let me know what you thought of it.

I have read many "left at the alter" books. They usually go on to tell the bride to be's story. That is not the case with this one. Jess put a spin on it. This one is about what happens to the groom to be after being left at the alter?

Well he does what anyone would do in his situation. He goes on his honeymoon alone with a hot bodyguard.

Jess has a way of writing that makes these characters leap off of the page. You won't be able to put it down. I have a friend who calls them a hug in a book. I always finish one of her stories with a smile.

She is one of those authors that everyone should read at least once.

I really enjoyed this book. I haven’t read any of the other books in the series and I didn’t feel like I was missing anything. Poor Aaron gets left at the altar which he is extremely angry (more embarrassed) about but it turns into the best thing that ever happened to him, besides Isaac. Aaron feels a connection with Isaac from the very beginning - he can finally be himself and not worry about the judgment. I loved how Isaac was unapologetically himself and so loving. Aaron was definitely fragile throughout most of the book, finally admitting certain things about himself. This packed quite the punch - tons of emotions, a little heartbreak, showing the growth and struggles of a relationship in the public eye. But in the end, Aaron and Isaac are incredible together.

This was a 4.5⭐️ read
Who ever would have thought that being left at the alter could turn out to being one of the best things to ever happen to you?
Aaron didn’t expect it when it happened but soon started to realise that that was the day his future began.
Aaron and Isaac had an instant connection from the beginning..
This book hit me with all the feels. Heartbreak, growth, struggle, moving on with the unknown. Coming out with a relationship in the public eye.
This story had a very realistic feel to it for me. It was wonderfully written and the story felt heartwarming.
Aaron and Isaac were amazing together. So glad we got their story.

Thank You Ashyton for leaving Aaron at the altar. Aaron runs away to his secluded mountain home after the betrayal. he wanted to be alone however All Saints Security vetoed it. Aaron chooses Isaac to go with him. As they are alone in the mountains Aaron finds out about Isaac. When they come back to Nashville, things.didnt go as planned. Aaron has his own truths, demons and prejudices to work out.
Being a politician vs a boyfriend..

Jess hits some hard truths. I'm sure people in the real world have these same issues about coming out. This book is well written. The characters were so real. At times I wanted to bop Aaron upside the head. Isaac I wanted to just give him all kinds of hugs.

Grab this series it's great. Can't wait for next book.

Fun. I loved Aaron and Isaac together! I guess I have a thing about bodyguards, so this one hit the spot. Isaac gets to be all strict and broody while Aaron plays the crowd.
The (ahem) cabin in the mountains is described so vividly you can smell the air! I’m glad that Aaron’s political career didn’t falter, but I wouldn’t mind the two of them ending up back there.
There’s just the right amount of heartbreak and stress. It’s not enough to detract from the amazing love story. Well done!

I adore this series and fell in love with Aaron, even if I didn’t want to at first. So you can imagine my excitement to read his and Isaac’s story. I’m not always big into M/M stories, but this author writes some incredible ones and once I started this I couldn’t put it down. Being true to oneself, forgoing stereotypes, and finding your one true love make this a must read. He quickly became a favorite and I just know you will fall in love as well.

OH MY!

I loved this so much.

Who knew that being stood up at the alter was going to be so life changing for so many people; including Isaac the bodyguard, and Aaron the politician.

Their story of change, acceptance and above all, love was so beautifully written. Jess never lets me down with all the feelings she put into her books. It oozes out of the pages, and you can't help but get drawn in.

Another 5* read from one of my favourite contemporary authors. Well done Jess xxx

This is book 3 in the All Saints Security series but can definitely be read as a stand alone.
I felt so bad for Aaron when Ashtyn cancelled their wedding at the last minute. But, boy, am I glad that Jess Bryant wrote it that way!
Aaron and Isaac are so perfect together. Proof I guess, that the worst day of your life can turn out to be the best day of your life!
I loved the realness of this book, the human-ness of these characters. Watching these two struggle to navigate a relationship that was amazing but so very difficult was heart wrenching. From Aaron's struggle first with just being bi sexual and then with whether or not to come out to Isaac being openly gay and loving someone who was closeted, being strong enough to know that he couldn't be with someone that had to hide their relationship, and actually walk away, was heart wrenching! Jess Bryant wrenched my heart all over the place with this one! And then she fixed it with the happiest ever after!

Got to 66%. Just could not connect with the characters.

Okay maybe I should have kept at it because I ended up liking the end. I feel like I got to know Aaron and Isaac more in the last 34% than I did in the beginning because we got to experience their struggle instead of just them talking about it .

Imposing Saint is the lone MM romance in the All Saints Security series. It follows fairly standard, yet very enjoyable, bodyguard and forbidden love formulas. Aaron and Isaac are endearing characters you'll find yourself quickly rooting for.

It was to be the wedding of the ages in Nashville: Aaron Laughlin, the city's charismatic, young mayor is betrothed to the beautiful daughter of his mentor, a U.S. Senator. He doesn’t quite admit to himself that it’s more of a business arrangement, just a step in his career toward a national political position. His fiancée knows it doesn’t feel right, though, and soon Mr. Tall, Dark, and Handsome becomes Mr. Tall, Dark, and Jilted at the Altar. To avoid the media scrutiny, he escapes to his cabin in Colorado with his sexy bodyguard, Isaac, in tow.

Aaron is a closeted bisexual man who works hard to maintain his game face. He has denied himself a life as his true self because it conflicts with his political aspirations. No one knows the real Aaron, only the public persona he projects. After a heated kiss with Isaac at the cabin, his secret is out and Aaron wants a fling, a chance to secretly sow his bisexual oats. Isaac, the bodyguard, is reserved and detached when working. While on Aaron's detail, he’s intrigued by the mayor and soon realizes he’s got a little crush on him. But Isaac lives his life by two important rules: professionally, he never becomes involved with a client, and personally, he never gets involved with a closeted man. Well, those boundaries get tossed out the window in a hurry.

I wasn’t far into the book before I wondered how the story was going to resolve itself: even though his feelings for Aaron are strong, Isaac won’t go back in the closet for anyone. Aaron wants a high-profile political career – perhaps even POTUS – but how can he achieve that with Isaac unless the story ends in Fantasyland? Or did real life Mayor Pete chart the course for this to be a more viable possibility?

Well, Imposing Saint does resolve in a very satisfying manner and the epilogue – seven years in the future Yay! – is fantastic. I happily recommend this well-written book.

As a side note, the author mentions on Amazon that this is a standalone MM book in an MF series. “Aaron does play an important role in book two so if you'd like to know more of his backstory before jumping into this one you can read Impulsive Saint which is a MF romance featuring Tyler St. James and Ashtyn Echols, the bride who leaves Aaron at the altar and sets this book in motion.” Since I don’t read any MF, I was concerned that not having Aaron's backstory would bother me. In reality, books two and three overlap and I didn’t feel I was lacking any important knowledge.

Imposing Saint is the third book in the All Saints Security series. It's about Aaron Laughlin, the mayor of Nashville and bodyguard, Isaac Chinn.

When Aaron is left at the altar, it's the last thing he expects. All he wants to do is go to his family home in the mountains so he can just cope with it by himself. What he doesn't want is to be followed by the bodyguard who makes him feel things he shouldn't.

Isaac Chinn is not surprised that the Aaron's wedding never happened. His instincts have never failed him and they didn't now. But what does surprise him is that he's assigned to follow his celebrity crush up to the mountains and stay with him until he decides to return.

Things with Isaac just comes easily to Aaron. Since the beginning, there conversatiod have been instantaneous and their connection has been solid. But he can't take the risk on starting something with him, even though every part of him wants to.

There were so many things that I loved about this book. The way that Isaac and Aaron didn't just immediately jump into bed after realising they were attracted to each other, but we got to see them get to know each other and really start to care about one another before things started.

Another thing that I really liked, (this might be potentially spoilery) is that when they broke up, it wasn't because of some inane resane like in most books, but that we actually got to see there struggles and troubles, before we reached that point.

The pacing and the depth in which we got to know the characters was great. Their chemistry was undeniable and their connection was solidly built over the duration of the book.

This was a great bodyguard romance that I'd definitely recommend! Though this is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone. I hadn't read any of the previous books but I didn't have any trouble understanding anything that was happening!
