The title, “There’s A Beauty,” does not show the true value of this novel. This is rebirth saga crossing time and multiple worlds. It offered a variety of worlds (arcs), likable characters, and an entertaining storyline. This was a page turner for me as I lost myself in the struggles and triumphs of the two main characters.
The charisma of both lead characters is evident in the writing. It is easy to admire the strong, domineering and decisive type who has a soft hearted puppy love for the sticky, thigh hugging, crumb covered You Shu! Maybe, the writer is already making a fortune branding and selling stuffed animals of the leads. They would sell! I would buy!
The depth of the plot made it hard to stop without reading to the end of each arc. I do not regret losing sleep over this! Each arc is clearly divided and every chapter has the title of the arc. I would prefer unique titles on each chapter for convenience.
The only downside, besides a weak title, is the speed of translations. About 46 of 148 chapters translated into English as of this writing. Meaning this novel captured me from mostly an MTL translation level! I only suffer through MTLs when the story is captivating and this one is worth it!
Let me take a moment to kowtow to the translators. I fully appreciate their efforts! Each chapter is about two to three chapters in the typical Chinese web novel. So, the size of each arc is equivalent to a full web novel! I don’t envy the hard job of the translators they are really finishing 3 chapters a month when compared to the average Chinese web novel. But, the novelupdates’ statistics show one chapter every three months released as of this writing.
Overall, this is a definite multiple read situation for me not only for reading again when the translation is completed, but, also for the the great storyline! This is on my list of top 100 Asian novels I have read! Highly recommended!
