I really enjoyed puzzling my way through the twists and turns of this story. The writing is very atmospheric and creates a vibrant picture of life in busy central London - it's clear that the author knows the city very well. The characters came alive in my imagination and I felt quite close to them, so it was a surprise to find out that I didn't know them at all! A fast-paced absorbing read. Highly recommended.

Its fair to say I was on the edge of my seat with this one, and that didnt stop throughout. Cleverly creepy and couldn't put it down. Dark, edgy, and some really great twists. Really impressed and definitely did not disappoint.

Dominic Wong has the ability to to weave a story with lots of twist and turns like taking the wrapping paper off a parcel with multiple layers each one more more remarkable than the previous chapter

Having moved to London at a similar age to the protagonist in this story, I really related to the descriptions of City life. The characters in this story are really believable and the story is fast paced, keeping you hooked right until the end, with a fantastic plot twist that I had not predicted! Thoroughly recommend!

A friend of a friend recommended this book to me. It was a real page turner and goes at a fast pace, especially the second part where the point of view switches to Joe. It reminded me a bit of Gone Girl in style. There are a couple of big twists which are brilliantly executed and the last part I didn't see coming at all! It's hard to write a review without spoilers so let me just say it was a worthy recommendation and I really enjoyed it.

This was an absolute page-turner, I was hooked from page 1. Such wonderful observations of life in London by the author that the reader feels they’re actually there, part of the scene. The story itself is full of twists and turns and takes the reader along its windy road at break-neck speed. I couldn’t put this book down but I didn’t want to finish it either!!
For his first novel Dominic Wong has done himself proud.

A book with wonderful descriptive passages of places visited by the characters. There are interesting characters in this book, many of whom have secrets and fears, like most of us, making them seem very real. The narrative is pacey and told by the three main protagonists with many other fascinating minor characters. A good read.
