Fascinating concept and good plot line, but there needs to be a lot of editing. I’ve never read a story with so many grammatical errors and typos. Author left donations requests after each chapter which is kind of annoying.
Honestly, if you like a bit of trashy teenage vampire angst it's worth a read. I kinda like the leveling up thing, but probably because it makes me think of Fire Emblem.
Don't read if you like grammar because it is awful.
I read around 1080 chapters. It was cool in the beginning but the quality started declining around c.700 and everything became too predictable and or ridiculous. At times I had to force myself to keep reading because some arcs dragged on forever, but at some point I had enough. I also started hating all or almost all of the characters, and there was even an extremely annoying one that got off too easy if you ask me. Anyway it’s not by any means a masterpiece, and at best a mid read. But really it’s bad.
I read this book and it has so many good things. The author has created a fascinating world. My vampire system is in the future and it's nice to read about the new technology and the many different planets. Earth is just to small for this story. I liked it so much that I also read my dragon system and now I'm reading the werewolf system.
But although I like the story, I can't give it a five stars. To begin with, who let a child alone? His parents are gone to the war and Quin is 10 the moment that he got the news that his parents are death. At that time he is alone for a few years and can't hardly remember his parents. I just don't understand why nobody took care of him? And for Richard Eno to only give some money so that he has it's own appartment? Why not hire someone to look after such a young boy?
And I'm still mad about the character development from Hayley. She was okay in the first part of the story when she was just a nurse. But why make her a succubus? And give him a hand??? That part wasn't neccesary in the story. It just doesn't ad anything. It would have been nice if there was more development between Helene and Quin. Somekind of attraction on both parts, so that Quin could realize who he really loves. And for Layla to wait more then 1000 years?
Some scenes were to long. Many chapters where there is war and fighting. Just scanning trough waiting for anything interesting. But believe me, it's worth it. If you can get through those chapters a good story follows.

Pretty much your standard futuristic military dictatorship and an MC with a system. While it does come off as contrived at points and confusing in others, overall it is an okay read. What made me score this at 4 instead of 3 stars is a few things. 1) While it does come late in the setting the system hasn't just popped up arbitrarily because the story says so. It actually has its own backstory and goals in mind rather than 'I got system!' 2) Certain Factions and individuals actually have history and better still it is a nicely convoluted history. 3) There is actual consequences for action that you may not see for an entire book or so before it comes up. It shows a living breathing world rather than a static backdrop. This isn't to say it doesn't have faults but that it is written well enough that overlooking won't kill the story outright...
I’ve read that the majority of complaints are about grammatical errors, but I also found out that the story was originally written in a different language and the translation was kind of an automated one. This would explain the grammatical errors and the overall flawed writing. I’m only a dozen or so chapters in and I am still on the fence about it. I’m going to give it another dozen more chapters before I make my final decision.
One of the best books you can not just stop reading it, the story telling is just epic, you just can’t predict what will happen next whenever he reached something there is always something new and exciting.. not to mention the world building is so beautiful first it start small then spread like infinite.. it’s a must read long but you will not get bored and will always be excited for what comes next.. the characters development is so good and satisfying.
Interesting idea but absolutely terrible writing. Even though the series is so long and spans millennia, there is very little character development of the main characters. From beginning to end all villains are just mindless bullies and Quinn keeps dealing with each of them in the same way. None of the other characters except Sil have interesting character arcs either. The plot is extremely predictable and lacks any depth. definitely one of the worst series I have come across.
currently on chapter 1888 and already finished my dragon system, both were alright, but author kept pimping his patreon page at end of each short paragraph which made it seem more like a infomercial then good read...his recent novel my werewolf system which was strongly advertised as well,I gave up after few chapter since it seem rushed and got drain from constant push for his patreon stuff
It’s been a few months since I finished this, all 2400-some chapters of it. I really got into this story for a while. It’s really not great but it kind of keeps you hooked.
Some things are not fully resolved in the end and author indicated that he might pick up in a sequel after he finishes his other on-going novels.
While "My Vampire System" had a promising concept, the execution left much to be desired. The storyline was plagued by poor delivery, riddled with too many grammatical errors, and the writing felt amateurish. Unfortunately, these issues made it difficult to fully immerse in what could have been a captivating tale. Save your time and look elsewhere.
I was wary to read this novel since it's a web novel and web novels are usually lacking in quality and plot. But I was thrilled that I gave this a shot. Even though the writing is in simple languagege, it could very well be a published book.
The book had great thought behind it but there were a lot of grammar mistakes such as names spelled wrong, capitalized first and second letters, and no spaces between the word “chapter” and chapter number.
I loved the story from the beginning! I had to look past all the grammar and spelling mistakes (and there were a lot!). Quinn's beginnings were a little tough to watch as I react very badly to bullying.
I got drawn into this series. I have completed the whole thing and while I don’t feel that the writing is particularly skillful, I’m in love with the world. The idea that one gains power by hunting beasts on foreign planets was very intriguing to me.
Poorly written, unedited, endless tropes. There are far worse publications out there. However, for some unknown reason, I read the entire 2545 chapters. Great for fans of Dragonball fight sequences and limited to no character development. Congratulations on your publishing success.
