From the first page of this Jayden Roe book 3 you are drawn into a web of intrigue, lies, back-stabbing, deceit, terrorism and never let go! The FBI fails to take down a terror bomber before he blows himself up at a museum filled with children and a very high profile child. Jayden Roe is holed up in a cabin out of the public purview working to help his friend's reputation trying to figure out where he wants to go with his life now. When it was determined that Jayden is the one the FBI needs to find the terror cells and get them taken down at the same time the very powerful Serpent Twins who run a major criminal underground enterprise calls in their debt Jayden owes them. It seems the debt and the terror cell problem are the same thing only from different directions. When Jayden turns down the FBI, they blackmail him into working for them. But the Serpent Twins enforcer, Kiera, was told if he doesn't pay his debt and turns her down to work with the FBI she is to terminate him. Crafty Jayden figures out a way to work with both Kiera and the twins at the same time as working with the FBI by making a written contract for both sides. So now we are taken through so many edge of your seat thrills, twists and turns and red-herrings will Jayden be able to pay his debt back to the twins and find the terror cells for the FBI before there are more suicide bombings. I couldn't put this book down until the end and found myself holding my breath at times. I highly recommend the entire series all 3 books so far and this book will blow you away! I received an ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

While Jay is paying his debt to the Serpent Twins, the FBI recruit him to work with them on bringing down a group of terrorist cells. The FBI threatens him so having no choice, he decides to help if he can include Kiera and Gary in the deal. While investigating, he comes across lies, deceptions, traps and placing his life on the line. While the story enfolds, the excitement builds, the plot thickens and the ending is electrifying. Will Jay, Kiera and Gary survive this mission?
This was an intense storyline of old friends, enemies and sanity. Join Jay as he unravel the clues. The narrative is great, setting the scene and helping to further develop the characters’ personalities. The mystery itself is twofold, identifying the leader of the terrorist cells and paying his debt. The investigation is filled with pitfalls, unexpected twists and surprises that keep you glued right to the end.

Lily Campbell has outdone herself with this one! Terrorists are staging attacks and initially it’s difficult to discern where or who is orchestrating the attacks, The FBI recruits (under protest!) Jayden Roe to help them figure it out. He insists on including Gary and Kiera in the deal as his workmates. This novel has more twists and turns than ever, as they try to track the person calling the shots. There appears to be four groups being controlled by one main individual. Before it’s over there are numerous people switching sides and betrayals! It will definitely keep you up late reading! I an on Lily’s ARC team and write this review voluntarily.

I received this ARC with the promise to review. The author writes several series with continuing characters. This one gathers a group of misfits to work with the FBI to bring down a terrorist cell. None of them work or play well with others. The result is an action-packed story with multiple problems and disastrous solutions. I recommend this story to anyone who appreciates quirky characters and never-ending mayhem.

A tangled web of deceit, hypocrisy and back stabbing - friend or foe - it matters not. Dark, dangerous and devious characters and plots are in perfect balance for a dynamic story that will pull you in from the beginning and hold you captive until the end. This is Ms. Campbell's most ambitious novel to date and it's a stunner. Highly Recommended.

I was captured on the very first page! This series is fantastic! Suspense, intrigue, heart pounding events, and lots of twists and turns make this a real page turner. Jayden needs aid from the Serpent twins and already owes a big debt to them. Working for the FBI he must succeed against terrorists. Complex, interesting characters and a great story make this a must read!

This was an entertaining book. I especially liked the names of the main characters (odd thing, I know!). The story has twists and turns. Many of the characters are likeable. The book was lightheartedly enjoyable. Give it a try!
