English name : The Price of Breaking Up ⚔️
It was very good 😊.
the female lead was very strong 💪🏼, she stood her ground and seeked justice through action ⚖️.
she didn't break ⛓️💥 and continued her plan for revenge⚔️.
she was witty , very intelligent 🧠 and head strong 💪🏼.
it was very sad when she was betrayed first by her ex a* of fiance 😡, then by the ML ( although he loved her truly and was afraid for her life 💞) but he still lied to her and broke her trust, that was very heartbreaking 💔, but he still apologized and earned her love again and trust ❤️🩹.
the scene when they hurt her brother 🤕 and got her very angry 💢 was epic 🔥.
it was very good and quiet satisfying ❤️.

I'm still currently reading but there are some significant issues.
The main character is established as a shallow and manipulative bully from the get go. The whole revenge plot seems to be directed against people who wronged her only because they were forced into a situation they had no control over. Meanwhile, the main character is spreading misinformation and using people who were good to her to do evil deeds for her. It's terrible.
Final edit : two stars. Even though the art is beautiful, the main couple is highly dislikable. They are selfish, scheme a lot, use people as pawn and are petty, and not in an endearing or funny way. The motive of the main character seems foolish, the reader cannot support her in good faith. A main character shouldn't be shining only because everyone else is worse than them. It only has the effect of a dim light in the dark, luminous yet still insufficient. They should be shining in spite of the fact that everyone around them is bad. That's how you position them as a beacon of light amongst the darkness.

Ersia Fezzentera (Ercia Pesentria) was taken from her family at a young age because of a prophecy that the Saintess who helped found the empire would return one day marked by pink hair. As the only child in generations to meet the conditions Ersia is taken by the Emperor, confined to the palace, and engaged to the Crown Prince. Conditioned to maintain her dignity, trained to be useful, and forced to accept her role to bring stability to the empire—from the shadows—the lady struggles. While she gets some compassion from her princely companion Irnos and they become close, he does not have the power to change her circumstances.
A month before Ersia comes of age and officially marries, a new oracle is released by the temple naming Nevia Lurhtella as the prophesied chosen one instead. She rushes to the prince thinking he wouldn’t abandon her, but he immediately annuls their engagement and welcomes Nivea into the palace. The gossip and humiliations that she faces make Sia realize that the people of the palace were never on her side except for her shadow guard, Ash. Embittered, she decides to take a little revenge and return to the Duchy of Fezzentera exploiting the fact that Nivea is childish, spoiled, having an affair, and not properly trained. Her brother Rias and the Second Prince Alfredo return from a war campaign. Then Pope Asriel reveals that the oracle was fake from the beginning designed by the Emperor to trap her as a tool. Asriel offers a marriage alliance to assist and Rias offers to take her home, but Ercia wants to sort some things out first.
Meanwhile the Crown Prince is overwhelmed by work he must now do on his own and angry Ersia didn’t cry, beg him for help, and plans to return to her homelands. To trap Sia, Irnos accuses of her poisoning the Empress but the Emperor has to clear her name to stop the Duke and Duchess of Fezzentera from leading a revolt. Sia admits she endured because she loved Irnos but those feelings are gone and the Crown Prince threatens that he will destroy her if he can’t have her. The fight for the fate of the empire continues to escalate and Ersia must decide if she can trust anyone.

This is not a transmigrator or rebirther tale in the romance fantasy genre. The lead is not rescued by a cold Duke of the North stereotype. It does involve revenge, political plotting, and a Saintess so you will still find some familiar tropes. Honestly the characters are not the most likable. Our main character distances her emotions with a placid mask and uses money, drugs, and manipulation tactics to advance her goals. Her parents are killers and everyone has hidden motivations. Our male lead started by ruining her life and trying kidnap her. The high priest is espousing lies to put his girlfriend in a position of power next to another man. The Emperor is a narcissistic sociopath who is poisoning his wife, setting his children against one another, and thinks everyone is owed to or belongs to him. But because these natures are so universal readers come to understand this is just a harsh world to survive in. Still, something that will affect your enjoyment and to consider before committing.

Reading the manhwa version titled “The Price of Broken Engagement”.
It’s not transmigration, time return, or rebirth, so it’s kinda fresh story for me. At first, I didn’t engaged into the story much because I didn’t see how it would be. Then, everything was clear for me and I found myself enjoying the story. There were some plot twists in this story. The ending and the side story were so sweet. The side story was so sweet and lovely, I couldn’t stop blushing. 🤭🤭
I loved the interaction between FL and her brother. Having to see sibling’s sweet and close moments from kids to adults were huge pleasure and the harmony of FL’s family was great. So sweet and lovely. 🥰 🥰
The ML might look like a red flag for his early action, instead he was absolutely green forest. He loved, care, made FL as his priority. He carried himself to FL’s family like a brother/son, and they welcomed him greatly. Very sweet. It was nice to see. 😍😍
One lesson from FL and her previous relationship, that when 2 people with huge ego and pride couldn’t make the relationship working if they didn’t compromise each other. They didn’t mean for each other.

Une histoire sympa avec de beaux dessins. J'ai cependant passé quelques chapitres au début par ennuie, même si j'avais plutôt bien accroché avec le personnage féminin. Un caractère assez fort, qui ne se laisse pas faire, une chose qu'on n'a pas trop l'habitude de voir dans ce type d'histoire.
Avec du recul je n'ai pas vraiment accroché l'intrigue n'était pas folle, il y avait quelques longueurs sur certains passages alors que la fin tout est allé trop vite.
Donc un peu déçu de ce manwha ...

The manipulations and schemes were pretty good. I don't mind morally gray characters, though I would typically not like characters like the ML, I found myself forgiving him easily. (I think (100% the case) it's because of his face.

The story dragged out a littleeeee more than I would've liked, but I still loved it!
Ersia is such a strong character, and seeing her grow into herself and her autonomy and fall in love with Asriel was so endearing!!
