International Bestselling Author Susan Pierce brings a sexy and suspenseful enemies-to-lovers romance to K. Bromberg's Driven World.

He's my temptation. I'm his Endgame...

My worlds just collided. Hard.

An exposé on playboy Jake Mitchell, Nascar's racing prince and my one-night stand, is my only shot at saving my career. I have no choice. It's him or me.

And I owe him nothing. I mean, he doesn't even remember me.

So, why am I giving him a heads-up that his rich and powerful family is about to be taken down at the hands of...well, me?

No clue, though it feels a lot like the closure he stole from me. Except, he isn't going quietly this round. He wants to plead his case one last time, inviting me to his parents' southern estate to get to know the people I'm exposing. As his fake girlfriend.

That should have screamed caution flag, but the journalist in me knows it's a deal I can't refuse. Even if he makes me crazy. Even if his charm is getting to me again. Even if I know
I'm headed for heartache.

But when the walls start closing in, with their secrets and dark, forgotten things threatening to crash around us all, I realize maybe this trip was more than just an inside look at the Mitchell family and their home--it was either about winning me over...or keeping me silent. And I can't help but wonder just how far he'd go to keep the past dead and buried.

Fans of K. Bromberg's Then You Happened and The Driven Series will devour this standalone enemies-to-lovers, second chance romance with enough drama, suspense, and HEAT to keep you up all hours of the night. One-click now for your next book hangover!ake relationship romance.

Scarlett is a crime reporter and has been asked to write an expose on Jake and his family to uncover the truth about an accident that happened a long time ago. The only problem is Scarlett and Jake have met before, they previously had a one night stand. There’s still an obvious chemistry and attraction between them. Jake asks Scarlett to enter his world and get to know his family before the article is published.

In this story, there’s love, forgiveness, mystery, and suspense.

I highly recommend Endgame. 🏁🏁🏁

Racing to the truth.....but whose endgame will get the checkered flag

Endgame by Susan Pierce is a book in The Driven World series. This is the first book I have read by this author so I was not sure what to expect, as you never know whether you will enjoy a "new to you" author. As the book description looked interesting to me I decided to pick this up and give it a try, hoping that I would find a new author that I enjoyed. Plus it does not hurt that I am a car fanatic and love racing and going fast.
This story is about Jake Mitchell and Scarlett Reed. She is a crime reporter who is assigned a expose on the rich and powerful Mitchell family. Jake is a man who seems to have two careers - playboy and Nascar driver. He is very successful at both and enjoys them each a lot. Jake and Scarlett had met once before and shared a scorching hot night of passion together. So this could not get more awkward could it as she tries to uncover the facts of an accident that happened years ago.
This was a nicely woven story with mystery, drama, action, suspense, emotions, a lot of chemistry and pedal to the metal passion. The characters are nicely developed and there is great interaction and intensity with them. Overall this was an entertaining story that was a solid reading experience.

I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

I really enjoyed this. Like. so much. I have not read any of the other books from the Driven World, but this did well as a standalone and I did not feel like I was missing any information. I loved Scarlett. She was a lot of fun and I definitely related to her moments of awkward. And her friends and mom were everything. I enjoyed getting to know Jake and uncovering the mystery of his past and family. And The Drama surrounding his family. Ooh I was hooked. This was such a fun ride, and I would definitely be stoked if a second book just happened to come along. *hint hint*

This novel was given to me as an ARC for a review and I instantly stopped what I was reading and dive right in. I love the Driven Series and didn’t know that there was a Driven World!!!!

This novel didn’t follow along side the driven series and for that I’m a little thankful! We get a whole didn’t story line and a lot of thriller in this!! And I have to say I was a little shocked by this. I didn’t anticipate a thriller/suspense in this series.

I loved Scarlett. She was witty and personable and a little bit nutty. Totally my kind of character.

I didn’t realize it but I ended up bringing the entire novel in one go. It was a quick read and I enjoyed it. I find that I enjoyed the story but felt that all the loose ends were wrapped up a little too well at the end and didn’t leave enough for another novel for a series to continue like others in the driven series.

Jake Mitchell was a Nascar superstar as well as a major playboy. This book is part of The Driven World but is read as a standalone. Scarlet Reed is a crime reporter who's been asked to write an expose of the wealthy Mitchell racing family. She's supposed to uncover and expose the truth about an accident that happens years earlier. They met previously when they had a one night stand but he didn't remember her. She feels necessary to warn him and he responds by inviting her to visit his family and get to know them. The book is really a romantic suspense overflowing with emotion. Plenty of drama and twists to keep you guessing. Scarlet was a wonderful character and it was hard not to fall in love with her. The chemistry between her and Jake was explosive. The book is hard to put down once you start reading and I read it in one sitting. The book was definitely a page turner as the mystery surrounding his family is uncovered. A great book that was a fun read with an entertaining story and great characters. I received a free copy of this book via Grey's Promotions and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Holy Suspense, Batman!

There are so many layers to Jake and Scarlett’s story, you are in for one hell of a ride. Scarlett is a journalist specializing in crime and public safety. She has accepted a job to write an expose about NASCAR driver, Jake Mitchell, his family, and a mysterious accident in their past. Only one problem: Jake and Scarlett had a one-night stand a year before where he left without saying goodbye. One year later and Scarlett is thrown into a world of drama, intrigue, and a creepy house. She is set on uncovering the truth and outing the Mitchell family. Hopefully, Scarlett doesn’t get end up being a casualty in their “endgame”.

This book gives you everything, love, drama, excitement, and suspense. It will have you on the edge of your set from the very beginning.

Jake is a race car driver with a family full of drama and a closet full of secrets. Scarlett is a reporter who wants to uncover those secrets and tell the world about them. But can these two keep their hands off each other long enough to keep those secrets hidden? This was a great quick read with tons of twists and turns that kept me highly entertained! The family was a little wacky which made the book even more enjoyable.

This book was amazing. It's about a crime reporter who wrote an expose about a NASCAR driver. Instead of just running the story she decides to warn him before the story goes public. All because she had a one night stand with him.
He later calls her and invites her with him to go home with him for some in-depth info about his family. And then a whole lot of creepy as fuck stuff happens. The story brings so much different feelings it's hard to explain. I really want to get into so much, but that would totally spoil the story and ruin the reading.
I hope there will be more to read about Scarlet and Jake. There's so much more to discover about them.

I enjoyed this book, I love the driven world & the spin off books (No pun intended) This is purely a standalone so you don’t need to read any other books in the series, unless of course you want to !

Scarlet is a crime reporter & has been asked to write an expose on Jake & his family to uncover the truth about an accident some years ago.
The only problem is Scarlet & Jake have met before, they previously had a one night stand.

There is still an obvious chemistry & attraction between them. Jake asks Scarlet to enter his world & get to know his family before the article is published.

This romance story is filled with Mystery, intrigue & suspense. I couldn’t put it down as I needed to know what other secrets this family was hiding.

I recommend Endgame 🏁🏁🏁🏁

I thought the book had a strong "Revenge" (tv show) feel to it. There's certainly a suspenseful element to the book. I did enjoy the storyline of the book, as well as the chemistry between the 2. The book was all from Scarlett's POV.4.5 stars

I love the Driven series so any book set in that world is welcomed. I loved Scarlett and Jake's story. Scarlett is a reporter asked to write an expose about event surrounding Jake's family that could turn things ugly, so she feels the need to warn him. His response to that is an invitation to his family home, and a proposal for a fake relationship. It wouldn't be a hardship if they wouldn't have had a one-night stand, which he seems to have forgotten. There is attraction simmering , secrets to be uncovered and unneeded feelings growing in this wonderful page turner book. Well written, well paced and enough plot twist to keep you entertained .
I received an ARC for an onest review.

I absolutely LOVED the hell out of Jake and Scarlett! These two have all-consuming chemistry that made me want more, more, more of them! I adored how Jake let Scarlett into his life and ended up falling for her, and I loved that Scarlett stood up for herself and what she believed in. Between the suspense, a twist you don’t see coming, and a whole lot of sexy-smexy, This. Book. Was. Everything!
Highly recommended!!!

Good book, but honestly hard to review without revealing too many plot points. The storyline was interesting and the MCs were interesting on their own, as well as a potential couple.

Scarlett's doing her one time ons a favor in letting him know she's about to write an exposé about him. Too bad he doesn't remember her or their night, and too bad she's still weak for him and agrees to a fake girlfriend situation with him around his family, because his family is not warm and loving.

Damn, I was not expecting the ugliness that lay in Jake's past, nor was I expecting how it would affect Scarlett, or Jake for that matter. Endgame is an excellent addition to The Driven World. It takes place within the world, slightly, but is spun off entirely in a different direction. This is more of a mystery/romantic suspense/thriller than straight romance, and it makes the story even better. I like how Scarlett isn't a doormat at the end and takes the time to process everything rather than automatically forgiving Jake and falling back into him. And I really love how much Jake had grown by the end. All in all, this is a great romantic suspense with a very likable couple, hot chemistry, and more than its share of suspense and secrets.

Endgame follows Jake Mitchell, a race car driver & playboy extraordinaire, and Scarlett Reed, a crime reporter. She's given an assignment to write about the powerful Mitchell family to uncover the truth about a past accident, and she needs it to kick start her career again. Oh, and they had a hot hook up in the past so you already know that it should be complicated, but he doesn't seem to remember her making it a bit easier since he invites her to his family's estate LOL! As she's getting to know them & investigating them, the sparks are flying between them, but if it were me?!  There's not a chance in hell that I'm going there again if I'm so forgettable. Endgame is a suspense filled story that may or may not have Scarlett in a lot more danger than she could imagine. Obviously that means there are a lot of twists as dirty little secrets come to light, heat (though I stand by my original statement of not going there with Jake again), action, and maybe just maybe a happily ever after if she makes it out of there. To find out you'll have to hit those one click buttons! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

“...it’s going to be another good night of drinks and bad decisions. I can feel it in my bones. In the cosmic energy pulsing around us. And I’m okay with that.”

Skepticism. Ruthlessness. Controlling. Secrets. Betrayal. Destructive. Chemistry. Loyalty. Friendship. Humor.

“…when you run and numb, you can’t work on yourself. You have to be courageous enough to change. To stare your monsters in the eyes and stir up some major dust in your life.”

This book covers a lot of ground. When I finished I was a bit disappointed that there was a thread left unraveled...then I discovered that there will be more of these amazing characters in Backspin. I KNOW a big piece of the puzzle will fall into place in Backspin. Right....wink wink?!?!

““Yeah, I’ve read about your hobbies in the tabloids.” It was meant to deter him, to simultaneously throw him off and clear my head, but he doesn’t flinch. Just smiles and says, “I like my hobbies.” “I know you do.” I liked them too. Too much. Way too much.”

This book has so many layers, struggles, regrets, secrets and they were beautifully woven to show how people live and hide in complete dysfunction (and may not realize it)...What causes it. How it snowballs. How it can all come crashing down.

Jake Mitchell isn't someone Scarlet Reed thought she would see again. Of course, she has thought about him but never thought she would not only come face-to-face with him but also do an expose on him. Life has funny ways of dealing out the dirt and for Jake, his past is about to come back ten-fold and haunt him like crazy. What he doesn't expect is the one woman who had his attention, but never saw again. Now they are heading to his hometown to his family's place so he can give her an inside scoop. For Scarlet well, things are about to turn from awkward to crazy in 2.5 seconds. Jake's family is something else and when the chips fall and the secrets are revealed lives will change. Can Jake and Scarlet start something they both want or will this story tear their worlds apart?

I absolutely loved this story. It had a storyline that had me hooked from the very start. There was a lot of information that the reader doesn't get right away but hints are offered and it leaves you anticipating when you will find out what actually happened. the romance and connection between these characters was awesome and even though Scarlett was trying to ignore it, she couldn't hold out forever. This is the first story in the Driven World and after reading it, it definitely will not be my last.

Susan Pierce has written an amazing story that takes us into the Driven World of K. Bromberg with a NASCAR driver and a journalist writing the story of her career. This is a great one-night stand and enemies to lovers story that is suspenseful with a surprising mystery that comes to light. There is also a visit from a driver and wife we have all come to love too! This is a great, not to be missed story!

Endgame is a fast moving standalone story set in the Driven world and is told from Scarlett’s point of view. Even though it’s part of the Driven World it is a complete standalone.

Scarlett is a reporter writing an expose on Jake. She’s trying to find out the truth behind what happened with a car accident that Jake was involved with.
Jake is a nascar driver with a lot of family secrets. They’ve met before when they had a one night stand.

Endgame is a good read. It’s a romantic suspense with some twists and turns. Scarlett and Jake are great characters and it’s hard to not fall in love with either one of them. The chemistry between them was explosive.
