A native New Yorker, Chris Keniston was on her way to Australia when she fell in love with North Texas. Little did she know the balmy seventy-degree October days would turn into fry-an-egg-on-the-sidewalk heat in August!

Twenty years later, she started scribbling short stories about her favorite TV shows, giving them lives more to her liking - and the elusive happy ending. Not long after, a dear friend dragged her to a local writers’ meeting. After winning multiple writing contests and making the finals in the Romance Writers of America’s prestigious Golden Heart contest, she now spends her days, and nights, writing contemporary romantic fiction with lots of emotion, plenty of surprises, and, of course, the happily ever after.

Chris lives in suburban Dallas with her husband, two human children, and two canine children. Though she loves her puppies equally, she admits being especially attached to her German Shepherd rescue named Gunny. After all, even dogs deserve a happily ever after.

Out of all the Farraday's Grace is the one we know the least, mostly because she hasn't been around the ranch much. So while I liked this one I didn't connect with it like some of the others. Chase came off a bit wishy-washy, but I did like his enthusiasm for his new life and embracing the town and store. It was great that he listened to others and was good with taking their advice and not come in like a know-it-all.

The romance between Grace and Chase came off tepid to me. Although Chase scored big points when he took Grace on their first day. While the date was a bit over the top, I liked that he listened to Grace and gave her something she yearned for.

This is Grace's story, the youngest of the Farraday family. Chase Prescott left New York City and the rat race, and bought the feed store in town. When Chase was young, he and his dad watched reruns of Mayberry. Chase's dad wanted to find that town one day and live there. Chase's father died two months ago and that was when Chase decided to leave the big city. Chase saw a gray dog out his back door one day, but it wouldn't come to him. So each day the dog got closer. Then DJ and Finn Farraday came by to welcome Chase to town. The next thing the three knew was the door opened, Grace came in, and the dog ran from the back and knocked Grace over. There were words from Grace after this, but all was explained. Of course, once Aunt Eileen heard about the gray dog she started putting Chase and Grace together, especially since the other Farradays found love after seeing the gray dog. The rest of the town got on the bandwagon waiting and betting to see if they got together.

Grace was determined that she was only in town until her brother and Becky were married. She couldn't wait to get away from the small town in Texas to a big city. Of course her family didn't want her to leave and neither did Chase. I loved the way Grace slowly started falling for Chase even though she didn't want to. Chase may have been a city guy, but he sure fit in with the folks of this small town. This was another great story that I strongly encourage you to read. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader's Copy of this book.

Grace: Farraday Country Book 7 is by Chris Keniston. This is the latest in the fantastic Farraday series. The gray dog is once again on the prowl in Tucker’s Bluff, Texas.
Chase Prescott had fulfilled his dream and his father’s. He had left his firm in New York City and retired to Tucker’s Bluff to run a feed store he had purchased. He and his dad had wanted to find a “Mayberry” to live in. Chase thought he had found it. However, he had a stray dog to find the owner of. The dog was behind his building and Chase had tried for days to get it to trust him. He was finally making headway. Then the Police Chief and his brother came to visit. D.J. and Finn Farraday had stopped in to meet him. As they were talking, the gray dog growled and leaped for a customer coming in the front door. She was Grace, the Farraday sister, who had also come to visit. The dog knocked her down and kept her there. Laughing the brothers picked her up. They knew the significance of the dog.
Grace was the youngest Farraday and had just graduated from law school. She was home for D.J’s wedding to her best friend and to study for the bar. She really didn’t intend to be a lawyer; but the law degree could come in handy. She was just waiting to leave again.
Was the gray dog wrong this time? Grace was waiting on a possible job offer in New York City. When it came in, she planned to leave as soon as possible.

***Five Chase and Grace Sittin' in a Tree...K-I-S-S-I-N-G Stars***

Oh wow! Chris, you hit this one out of the ballpark. What a great love story and God bless that dog. He seemed more front and center in this book.

Grace Farraday, the youngest child and only girl in a family of seven children, has come home for the wedding of her best friend and her brother. While she's there she plans to study for her Bar Exam and has applied at a few top notch firms. She wants NOTHING more than to see Farraday Country in her rear view mirror and move to a big city, preferably New York...to live life to the fullest. Grace was more than I expected and I thought she was a super character.

Chase, our gorgeous hero, lost his father two months ago and wants to live the dream he and his father had talked about for years. A slower paced life, a small town, friendly neighbors close by. He decides to leave New York and buys a grain and feed story in a small Texas town that the previous owner had let run down. He is such a sweetheart! Love him to pieces! I want me a Chase,

Through this short journey Chase comes to realize that is isn't where you live but who you share your life with that really matters. Does he dare hope that Grace will come to see things the same way.

I highly recommend this book as well as the Farraday Country Series!

This is book 7 in the Farraday series of 7 siblings and here we get the story of the youngest and only daughter - Grace. And what a wonderful, fun-loving, sweet book it is!

Grace is home to study for the bar and is excited to see where her life will take her once she passes. But there is a new guy in town causing her some intrigue and interest. What harm can come from a little temporary fun while she is home for a bit, right?

The newest town member is the handsome and charming Chase Prescott who now owns the local feed store. Chase had it all, a job on Wall Street and the money to go with it. But after his father dies Chase realizes there is more to life, and his search for 'Mayberry' has him relocating to a small Texas ranching community. He's never been happier, or at least he thought so, until a grey wolfish looking dog is instrumental in his meeting Grace.

As Chase realizes that Farraday country has so much more to offer him than just the simple tranquility he was searching for he must work fast to catch not only Grace's eye, but her heart as well, before she is gone. With her determination to seek the fast paced city life will Chases ever stand a chance?

Grace Farraday is the only girl in the family. She is studying law & getting ready to sit for the bar exam. Chase Prescott had it made. He was a successful businessman in New York City. After his father passed away, he decided to change his life & move to a place where things were simpler & kinder. He know owns the local grain & feed store. The Farraday's were the previous owners' best customers. Chase has been befriended by a large grey dog. A chance encounter between the dog, Grace & Chase and the betting is on! Will they become involved? Will the dog's matchmaking streak remain intact?

I love this series! Chris Keniston has created a cast of characters & a town of supporters that are becoming dear to all of us. I love reading about the newest couple but also receiving updates on the lives of the others matched up. The chemistry between the couple is intense. As Grace struggles to decide where she wants her career to lead her, she struggles to understand why Chase would give it all up. I really can't wait for the next one!

This is book seven in Farraday Country series and the night I received a copy I could not put it down! Chase Prescott has come to town to set up a dry goods store and the first thing he does is make friends with what he thinks is a stray dog. When his shop bell rings, he goes in but the back door does not close completely he meets D.J, and Finn who have come to town the dog comes into the store also. Grace the youngest of the Farraday's comes in the front door and is immediately knock to the floor by the dog ! So begins their getting together at times this book had me laughing the next it had me wondering what would happen next. This was a good book to end this part of the family on. I was gifted a copy but because I liked it so much I also ordered it.

Chris Keniston has once again tells a story of love and family.

Grace Farraday is her own woman, but fate has something else in store for her in the form of city boy Chase Prescott. And wouldn't you know one meddling and a dog bring haze and Grace together.

I look forward to more of the Farraday family.

Although very good, the book is not quite as good as some of the others in the series. It is much more predictable than the others.

Grace has plans for her future. Can a dog disrupt them?

This is the story of the youngest of the Farraday siblings. Grace was not only the youngest, she was determined to live in the cities of the world, experiencing all the sophisticated life she could. No way was she prepared to live in ‘Mayberry’ in the middle of Texas in a small town. She is prepared to visit her family while her best friend marries one of her brothers and then she might stay a little longer while she studies for her bar exams.

When she meets the new owner of the feed and hardware store she can’t understand how someone from New York City could have considered moving to Texas to own a small store. But a dog named Grey and her family would like her to reconsider.

A fitting ending to the stories of each of the children, but there are still the cousins, etc.

Grace Farraday
Chase Prescott

Grace has lived in Tucker’s Bluff all her life except the last 7 years while at College and in Law School, just coming home occasionally, and she doesn’t want to return. She wants to see the world. Chase on the other hand was born and raised in New York, and he wanted out. So, having made money as an Investment Broker working 80 hour work weeks he buys a feed store in Tucker’s Bluff and begins to settle into small town life. He meets Grace when she comes into the feed store and is knocked down by “The Dog”. Then the story of building a relationship starts. What a fun book to read. The story moves quickly and you like the characters. The rest of the Farraday family is included and you get to see how their relationships are progressing. I would read more by this author.

Yay for another visit to Farraday Country!! I love each book in this series and getting to know each character!

This story focuses on Grace (the youngest) who has returned to attend her brother's wedding and Chase. Chase left New York for a simpler life, so he buys the feed store. And of course, I can't forget that dog and Aunt Eileen!! Love the dog, because I love dogs! I love Aunt Eileen because she's quite the character!

Another amazing story by Chris Keniston! I look forward to reading Hannah's story!!

Grace is the least known of all the Farraday clan. She has been studying law in Dallas and is home for her best friend Betsy and brother DJ's wedding. The dog is around again and she and Chase get to know each other as a result. Chase isn't a city know it all and is quite happy to listen and learn. They spend time together performing tasks and do a fair amount of talking. Nothing life threatening happens, just a casual getting to know one another and moving towards their happy ever after. Quick and easy read.

Grace Farraday is one tough cookie she has to be with six brothers. She knows what she wants until she meets Chase Prescott.
She's only come home for her brothers wedding and then she's out of there. There's just something that draws her to him.

Chase Prescott moved to Tucker's Bluff to fulfill a dream. But when he meets Grace Farraday things change.

Buy the book and see what happens.
Highly recommend the entire series
because it's amazing.

Terrific Series Marches On

The seventh book in the Farraday Country series continues the wonderful family of likable characters and first-rate stories. Though somewhat short in length for the typical genre book, it works for this series because you can’t wait to see what happens with the next sibling. Since ‘Grace’ finishes the original seven, we now move to the cousins. Can’t wait to start ‘Hannah’.

Love strikes again.

Sweet sexy story of Grace finding her Prince Charming in a small Texas town. Cannot wait until the next book in this series. Maybe at some point we will find out the origins of "the dog" that her family believes is a matchmaker. The author has created a wonderful set of books set around the Farraday family and the perfect love matches they have found courtesy of "the dog".

Grace #7 Farrar at Country

I have read a lot of the Farraday family stories and enjoyed them all. However, Grace is a really great story. She is the youngest and only girl in this wonderful ranching family. She has just finished college and law school. One of her brothers is getting married and there is lot going on in their lives. A new guy buys the feed store. Chase moved to west Texas to follow a dream his Dad had about living in a small town instead of NewYork

Five star

I have read this complete series and preordered Grace. I feel like one of this big West Texas family. Having come from a large West Texas family this has been a very enjoyable escape from the N. Y. winter that doesn't want to stop. Reading about ranching in West Texas and the horses does make me homesick. Great story line with Gray!

Love this Farrady County Series

Each of these books have been fun and can't put down until I'm done. All made more interesting waiting to see how the mysterious matchmaking dog brings the couple(s) together not to mention how the entire town gets involved in a very social way. I can't wait for the next book.

I've really enjoyed this series. I've said in my previous reviews of it that the stories aren't really original and the writing isn't beautiful. But they are sweet stories. Something to get lost in for a few hours, that will make you smile and remind you there is good and love in this world. Fluffy and fun and I won't stop reading them.

I didn't enjoy this as much as the others I have read in the series. There just wasn't enough going on for me and it seemed very short. I will continue to read the Farraday Country books however as the previous installments have been good and I'm hoping that my lack of love for this one is just a one off.

Another fun read from Chris

Chris writes a fun, flirty romance that makes it hard to put down the book. Grace lived up to the previous Faraday installments with one problem, it ended too soon. So what did I do? I pre ordered the next book in the series!

Can't get enough

All the Faraday books are un-put-downable. I live the way they glide from one to the next. I think author is a genius to find new ways for dog to appear. Chris, we want dog to show up for Sean and Eileen! Just saying....

Grace Wants to See the World

Great series. Great characters.

I was in the middle of an anthology of different authors and the first two Farraday books were included. I was so hooked, I had to take a break and read this series until all seven of the Farraday siblings found their matches. Great fun.

These books in the Farraday serious are amazing and sweet. I can't wait to read the next in the serious. I also love how we get to see all the couples in the past books making their dreams a reality and see what's happening with them.
