A native New Yorker, Chris Keniston was on her way to Australia when she fell in love with North Texas. Little did she know the balmy seventy-degree October days would turn into fry-an-egg-on-the-sidewalk heat in August!

Twenty years later, she started scribbling short stories about her favorite TV shows, giving them lives more to her liking - and the elusive happy ending. Not long after, a dear friend dragged her to a local writers’ meeting. After winning multiple writing contests and making the finals in the Romance Writers of America’s prestigious Golden Heart contest, she now spends her days, and nights, writing contemporary romantic fiction with lots of emotion, plenty of surprises, and, of course, the happily ever after.

Chris lives in suburban Dallas with her husband, two human children, and two canine children. Though she loves her puppies equally, she admits being especially attached to her German Shepherd rescue named Gunny. After all, even dogs deserve a happily ever after.

How wonderful it was to spend the holiday season back in the warmth and fun of the Farraday family! The two central characters were not Faradays by blood, but as anyone who has spent time with these wonderful people knows, for the Faradays and the community of Tucker Bluff, family means a lot more than the people you are related to.
Reed is an old friend from earlier books who came to town to work for his old Marine buddy, DJ. Chloe is the widow of another deployment buddy who settled near the community and his brothers-in-arms. When quiet, independent Chloe and her daughters suffer another major blow, Reed and the whole town step up with a helping hand and an open heart. Our wonderful gray dogs help avert a major tragedy and trigger an amazing rescue that had my heart pounding with excitement. It was pounding by the end with the magic of love.
I adore the new Hart Land series but it is great to spend time with old friends.

Loved this novella.. Heartwarming yet heartbreaking. Chloe has lost her husband. She has her daughters and one night something happens.. But Reed comes to her rescue. Even the Farraday’s help her. No one ever says no to Aunt Eileen. It warmed my heart when Aunt Eileen try to have. Chloe and Reed have some alone time.
I just loved it. Reed vows to do anything for Chloe and the girls. He lost his brother in arms.

Buy this sweet novella. You won’t be sorry.
As in all the Farraday books Ms. Keniston writes with Love, Family, and Heart. There’s more so much more. Envelope yourself in these books. You will love each and everyone of them.
I sure did. I have read them all.

Loving Chloe (Farraday Country Book 12) by: Chris Keniston

Keniston has a way with hearts. Loving Chloe is preciously, unpredictable, abundantly charming and hard to resist. There is never a moment when your heart isn't invested in these beautifully flawed characters. Lost in the moment takes on a whole new meaning when your falling in love with perfection.

Loving Chloe: Farraday Country Book 12 is by Chris Keniston. True love still comes to those who wait for it on Farraday land, or even to those who do not want it to come. However, there is one thing they cannot get around and that is the showing up of the Grey dogs. The Grey dogs show themselves to the next person to get married and they have never been wrong for a Farraday.
Chloe lived in a small house on the Farraday ranch. Her husband had built it for her before he left to go to Afghanistan. After he came back, they lived there with their two young girls and although not wealthy, had a good life together. Then, he was killed by an aneurism leaving her with two little girls to raise. What she didn’t know was that Reed Taylor, her husband’s best friend, had fallen in love with her the first time he had seen her; but lost her immediately to Pat when the two of them fell together. From that time on, Pat was the only man in her heart. She did know that Reed was as close as a brother to Pat and herself and that she could rely on him to help her after Pat died.
Reed was a police officer and was on patrol one night. He was headed to take a report on grey wolves when he came across the pair that the Farraday’s claimed. The two acted strange until Reed figured out they wanted him to follow them. When he first noticed smoke, he immediately called it in because a fire in this area was deadly. He was terrified when he realized it was Chloe’s house.
Chloe was rudely awakened by the grey wolves which scared her to death. Her next thought was for the girls and getting to them through the fire. However, Sean Farraday, the patriarch of the family, got her out through her bedroom window. Meanwhile Reed was upstairs trying to find the girls. Luckily, they were together and he took the little one while Connor Farraday took the older girl. They made their way through the smoke to a window and got out just as the first exploded. Although just one among many, Reed got the warranted name of hero.
Now Chloe had to quickly figure out where she and the girls would go without a house. All the neighbors did what neighbor did and immediately pulled together to find a place for Chloe to stay while they started rebuilding their own house. He did explain to her that she and the girls couldn’t stay with him due to possible gossip. Could Reed ever get the courage to tell Chloe how he feels?

Reed & Chloe were perfect for each other! I loved getting to revisit the Farraday’s & follow another couple’s courtship. Reed has loved Chloe since he met her but before he could make his move, she met his best friend & fell hard. Now, Reed’s back from serving but his best friend didn’t make it back. Reed is determined to watch over Chloe & her girls.

Both Chloe & Reed are damaged & have to find a way to move on. Reed suffers from guilt. Why was he lucky enough to make it back & not so many others? Chloe is determined not to be a burden for anyone & also is trying to make sure her girls aren’t hurt again. This story shows how small towns look out for each other. After a disaster, everyone wants to help Chloe & her girls. The way they were absorbed into the Farraday family also shows that family isn’t always blood, not is really what you make it.

Thanks to the dogs, Reed is alerted to a fire at Chloe’s house Reed and the Faraday’s are there just in time to save Chloe and her two daughters, Emma and Sarah. Reed saw her first, but his buddy won Chloe’s heart and married her. Now widowed for two years and with the losses from the fire, Chloe has to learn to accept help from the town and the Faradays. Chloe starts to appreciate all that Reed does for Chloe and the girls. I received a free copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntarily given review. This is a sweet Christmas romance novella. I like how nearly losing her daughters, Chloe opens herself to Reed and the Faraday family. I also like catching up with some of the other family members in their Christmas celebration. I also liked that there is a hint that there might be more books in this series.

Loving Chloe is the twelfth book in the Farday Country series, although this is part of a series it can be read as a stand alone, but you would know more of the characters and history if you read them all. That being said don’t be turned of that it is so far into the series because you will not feel lost as each book focuses on a main male and female lead.
Chloe has been doing things on her own for her girls since her husband unexpectedly passed away. This year she was looking forward to the holidays and doing them up like before. That is until one morning we wakes up to her house burning. But being they are in Farday country everything is being taken care of before she can even get over the shock of the fire.
It is always fun to come back to tuckers bluff and revisit the Farday clan. But being during the holidays this is even more of a treat.

It is the season for hope and family in the newest Farrady Country series. Loving Chloe by Chris Keniston is a heartwarming novella. Welcome back to Tucker Bluff where the Farraday’s family are willing and able to help out. Chloe’s house burned to the ground, luckily both of her daughters were saved, but the house was not. Before Chloe can even mount up a defense, Chloe and her daughters are taken in by Ellen Farraday. It has been two years since Chloe has been a widow and Reed, who has been in love with her forever wants to be there for her. Maybe now Chloe can see him for who he is. Reed and Chloe with their happily ever and lots of babies to come are the best part of this novella.

Loving Chloe by Chris Keniston is a good read for the season!

This is the Farraday Country book 12. This is about Chole and her two daughters who loss there husband and dad. Reed Taylor was in the military with Pat Landon and all he wants to do is help Chole get on with her life. Chloe's house caught on fire after the furnace caught on fire and Reed was the first one to help. He call for help and the Farraday Clan showed up along with the town. The gray dogs stopped him in the road to get help. I loved this story along with all the other books in this series. I was given a ARC of this book and I highly recommend reading this book. It is a clean and we'll written story.

Disappointing

This is the first time I was disappointed in a Farraday book! The main characters were underdeveloped and it felt like the story was rushed. No complications to be resolved, no crisis, not even some deeper reflection on falling in love after the death of a spouse! And just as you think you're getting into it, it's suddenly the epilogue and very unceremoniously and incohesively Morgan gets introduced, obviously just so the next book can have his name! I've always enjoyed these books, so I hope Chris Keniston will up her game on "Morgan".

Back in Farraday country and the two main characters are not related to the the Farraday family. Chloe and Reed have known each other for years. Reed has been there for her since her husband, his friend, Pat, passed away. After a fire damages Chloe's house, she and Reed spend more time together. Aunt Eileen has also conspired to have Reed around for dinner more often espevially as Chloe and her daughters are living on the farm whilst her house is restored. A sweet and heartwarming novella for the holidays.

I love all of Chris Keniston’s books, but it was wonderful to see another Farraday County story! It was like visiting family again, seeing everyone for the holidays. Reed & Chloe’s story has suspense, romance and a bit of humour. And, it seems there might have been hints of more Farraday family to come? I definitely recommend this series, and this book is a must read. I was given a copy so I could voluntarily leave an honest review.

The Farraday family is one that I like to read about, so when I learned there was a new short story I was happy to read it. I loved the role that the family played, how they gave Chloe and Reed a safe place to get to know each other in a different way, how they helped Chloe rebuild her life and show her that she didn’t have to do it all on her own. The ending to this one was perfect for the whole Farraday clan and for Reed and Chloe.

Chris Keniston continues to intrigue us with a look inside the ongoing lives of the Farradays and their extended family. Chloe was overdue for her own HEA and Reed Taylor was just the man to be there when she needed him most.

Sweet addition to a wonderful series!

I was gifted an ARC and voluntarily offer this review.

Book twelve of the Farraday Country series a well written story that kept me turning pages. It has a very good storyline and the story flowed smoothly from page to page. This is a series I will be reading again. I enjoyed reading Deputy Reed Taylor and widow Chloe Landon’s story of a second chance. This series just gets better with each new story.

Please bundle books

Chris Keniston, please bundle your books and sell them in a bundle. I love everyone of your stories. The Farraday series from book one to 12 , were wonderful. In reading the books, I felt like I was part of the family. I plan on reading the hard series next and would love to read the ones you finished writing in one large book.

A quick read, bringing us back to the Farradays. Chloe is a widowed mother of two, and she finds it difficult to accept any assistance. Reed met Chloe when she met her husband, his best friend. He wants to be there for her and has always felt more for her.

I was hoping for a story about Reed and I'm glad it came about. This is a sweet tale, loveable characters, the whole Farraday Clan, laugh out loud and of course, a nice happy ever after!
