As I have feared in the past the series is kind of running its course with the meek Framea being put into one situation after another while putting together a tour guide for Tempest. However now it seems that she is not working on it at the moment allowing Rimuru to rely on her for other tasks (which I don't see why he gives her all of these tasks even from the beginning or what information he has on her from the beginning.) Among the tasks within we see she is a tour guide for the dangerous demonic trio introduced last volume on their day off, facing off against a dangerous type of fish, and some delivery service to mysterious manor.
In her off time she gets to help with refuges from another war on the horizon, chills out at the legendary Jura Lounge and Bar, and unfortunately she get recruited by the earlier mentioned demonic trio for a little mission whether she wants to or not (plus nothing really came out of it for some reason.)
For those people looking for the more mature moments from this series there is at least one hot tub scene and Framea is in a bikini when she is fishing so take it for what you will. In addition stick around to the end to see Framea thinking back on the things she has experienced since coming to Tempest as the Great Ramiris plays a little trick on her.
More fun shenanigans with characters I haven't met yet. Framea is forced to be a guide for the primal demons Carrera, Ultima, and Testarossa; the stress of which sends her to Treyni's bar where she meets THE HERO: MASAYUKI... who never asked for his "Chosen One" unique skill.
Back to familiar territory, a request for tuna sushi sends Framea on a fishing trip with Middray and Gobta. Then a mochi delivery lands Framea in an elf's trap.
But just like that it's over. And I was really enjoying it too... This series was cancelled at 8 volumes.
