Tatara chases into the castle with Shuri injured following her, to get Asagi back. Final showdown with Emperor Ukon.

For a brief moment, Asagi catches a glimpse of having Tatara. He wants her by his side, affirming him. She finally understands what he wants from her. She places her trust in him to take care of the White Lady and Hiiragi (the head assasin) as a mission he set out to accomplish on his own, "I leave you in charge Asagi." It is the greatest form of trust a leader, a friend can give a person.

Synopsis:

As the war for Japan rages on, the battle reaches the Royal Castle itself. Sarasa penetrates the castle's defenses to confront the traitorous Asagi. Shuri, wounded and crippled, pursues Sarasa even though the chase may kill him. Ageha descends into a labyrinth beneath the castle to stop a deadly mechanism designed to destroy them all. And King Ukon, now a pathetic, desperate shell of a ruler, grimly awaits Tatara's arrival!

My Thoughts:

The battle is still on only the Red army and Tatara's army are working together against the remainder of those still fighting for the Royal army. Tatara, though, races to Kyoto in order to confront Asagi about what he's doing. I'm glad she did only because we find out why he did what he did. When he explains it, it makes a lot of sense.

Shuri goes after Sarasa because he can't stand for her to leave him behind again. When the confront King Ukon, they realize just how insignificant that man really is. They let him leave knowing that the people are likely to tear him apart if they get their hands on him.

Meanwhile, Ageha is fighting beneath the castle to buy Tatara, Shuri and Asagi some time to get out of the castle before it collapses, but the Yaro-Gumi finds him and tries to take him out. The last time we see him, I'm not sure if they've succeeded or not. I hope not, but if he does die, at least I know it's because it was what he wanted. I just don't want him to die all alone...

While trying to get out of the castle, Sarasa now has a choice to make. Does even a little part of her still wish for the Red King to die? If she does, her best bet is to leave him in the castle as he's in no shape to get out on his own and he basically tells her to leave. But if she doesn't, then she has to help him. Choose, Sarasa...

Nah inilah jadinya kalau seseorang seperti saya mementingkan cover diatas segalanya.
