He’s adorable in his own way, an alpha male who likes to be in control, in his business, his relationships and in bed.
He meets his match
Lexi Mackenzie is a female assassin from the Rubicon, working for Ryder, she is Hunters bodyguard, until she’s his everything, and she’s his equal in every way. Just as tough, rough and ruthless.
This is a great book, I adore Lexi and her no nonsense attitude, that she is tougher than most women, but she’s still able to be hurt by the right person in the right way.
Hunter is a wonderful character he’s got so much charisma and vitality about him.
They are perfect and passionate together.
This is the fourth book in this series but the third King, you’ll find out about them if you read the series, it’s best to read them in order as it builds a story running in the background, one of ultimate destruction, not just of the Kings, but of so much more.

KINGS are meant to be remembered, right? Well, HUNTER is a king you won’t forget. Dominant, possessive, brillant and sooooo much more, he meets his match when LEXI walks right into his life with a purpose he’s not ready for. She knocks him off his thrown in ways he never saw coming. This very suspenseful, thrilling and exhilaratingly sexy story will keep you enthralled until the end! This book is a definite read! Hunter and Lexi blew me away with this intense story. In Lexi he has met his match and she is more than capable of backing up her play! This story is action packed and keeps you glued to everything going on in this story! Ms. Andrews has once again woven a story that is spell binding and worthy of a repeat reading!

Authors!! Hire an editor before publishing!!! I beg of you!
I’m afraid to say this author is a terrible writer. I don’t think the author understands proper use of punctuation and sentence structure. I also noticed a few times that she used a word in a place of another that had similar spelling but very different meanings
Character development started out okay but the author needs to understand that when you build your hero, for example, it’s confusing and unbelievable to then have your hero start doing something wildly out of character out of the blue. The hero, we’re told in the beginning, is an introvert who hates being around other people, is a compulsive clean freak who can’t handle dirty dishes in the sink, and is stoic and grumpy. However, we’re then supposed to believe half way through the story that the hero miraculously has been secretly spending his weekends at a homeless shelter all along and that he’s friends with everyone there. How would that really be possible given who we’re told he is? I definitely rolled my eyes a few times over these weird twists in character. Another example is that the hero says at the beginning that he only took out the senator’s daughter on a date as a favor to him but then 2 pages later, our hero brags how he lives his life giving no favor to anyone! Contradiction!! Be loyal to your character!

This is the next in the # 5 Kings. I would suggest you read them in order, to really get the full enjoyment from them. If you don’t, once you’ve read this one, you will definitely go and read them.
This is Hunter and Lexi’s story and what a story.
The story grips you right from the first page and you can really feel the chemistry between them oozing from the pages. I loved it and the storyline was gripping. It was fabulous to get an advance copy.
I don’t want to spoil it for anyone, what i will say, there is an incident near the end of the book. I was nearly in tears and had to go and make a drink to calm myself. When it happened i was speechless, you will know what i mean when it happens. Had i been reading a book and not on the kindle, i think I’d have had to skip to the end, just to know the outcome. It is definitely different, but in a very good way.
I really need the next book now, to find out what happens, to Hunter and Ryder and the other Kings.
If you’re a fan of Stella Andrews and have read the other books, you will NOT be disappointed. If you aren’t a fan, why not ? You really need to get hooked.
I will definitely read again, as I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Lexi Mackenzie and Hunter Blake. Lexi isn't like most women, she is stronger and tougher than most women. The thing is she had to be from a young age. Lexi is now one of the go to women in the Twisted Reapers MC to clean up problems. When this book opens we find Lexi in a room with a man known to be so violent towards women that he has actually killed them. Lexi was sent by an anonymous employer to make sure this is the last woman he will be trying that with. When the job is completed she learns her next job will be babysitting a man who after reading about him she isn't sure she likes. Hunter knows that there is a problem in the organization he just can't find the leak yet. The one person all signs are pointing to he just can't believe it would be. So when he is told he is getting a bodyguard for his own protection he objects. When he finds out said bodyguard is a woman not a man he really wants out. What happens though when these two spend real time together will it be a HEA or will it just be another job for one of them?
Amazing story. These characters suck you in and won't let go until the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I am a HUGE fan of Stella's work. I was looking forward to another Reaper story. I was happy to hear Lexi's background but something about this book felt off... maybe rushed. I can't quite put my finger on it. I liked the story and revisiting the Reapers plus learning more about the Five Kings but in general, this book was not as great as some of the others. Maybe because of how fast they came together. She is a professional assassin and guards herself like Fort Knox. He is a bastard... it all happened fast... maybe too fast? But then like attracts like and when you know, ya know. It was just different. I don't know. I will say though, despite having me thrown off about whatever it is, I did fall deep into the story. Lexi's back story gutted me and almost made me cry. Hunter's family was just despicable. The text message made me audibly gasp and brought a tear to my eye. I may or may not have said "No way" out loud. And the beach... whoooo yeah! It melted my heart. Maybe it is just me, but I think everyone may want something like that said to them in their life. I can't wait to read the next one.

Hunter doesn't need these complications, Ryder and Lucas have already been targeted.... and apparently he's next. Ryder gives him a bodyguard, a walking contradiction called Lexi.
What on earth is he trying to do???
She quickly proves herself to him and unexpectedly crawls into his heart. His family and adversaries can't stand her.... and he couldn't be more pleased. Can they find the people behind this?? Can they find and take care of the traitor(s) in their midst before the Kings are brought to their knees. ??
I can't wait to read the next installment of this awesome series, each book is better than the last.

The workaholic king of Wall Street & the sexy assassin...
Wow, blown away by this compelling page turner that sucked me in from the get go. I won't dwell on the story itself as it's been covered in previous reviews. What I loved was the undeniable connection between the main characters. They laid bare their true selves, literally & figuratively. He was closed off but she was the real genuine deal, natural, spontaneous, & it was like a lightbulb went off in his brain & he became almost human under her watch. I came to like his controlling & demanding ways, especially in the bedroom & I loved the heroine. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.

Five Kings book 3. Simply beautiful the way this book flows. Love love love this series. Hunter is the cold alpha King of Wall Street. Lexi is a bad ass Twisted Reaper. Someone is trying to take out each king and Hunter needs some help. So in comes the awesome Ryder, King and Prez of the Twisted Reapers. Ryder gets Lexi to come protect Hunter. But the two fall for each other. They battle secrets, lies, the ghosts of the past and the craziness between each other. This book is sexy, dramatic, so very gut wrenching, hopeful and entertaining. Ms. Stella I can't wait for the next book. Let's get this to Netflix.

I didn't realize that this book was part of a series when starting, and I don't think that it made much of a difference to read it out of order. Considering the fact that I devoured this book in a matter of 3 hours, I would consider this a good fluff read. I didn't have to tax my brain into thinking and just read for the sake of relaxing. It wasn't a hard read and there weren't any major problems that the main characters faced. I would recommend this to people who would want to just turn off their brain.

This is the fourth book in this series and is Hunter and Lexi’s story. Hunter is ruthless, possessive, and dangerous, and he has certainly met his match with Lexi who is his bodyguard, as well as being a female assassin, and she is just as tough as he is. The chemistry between them is combustible and undeniable. This is a well written flawless story which is dark, captivating, action packed, intense, thrilling, and a steamy romance, which had me intrigued throughout. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend for all.

One of Ryder Kings people is sent in to protect him and try to uncover who is targeting the markets and when Lexi Mackenzie breezes into his life his organised life is turned on its head. She is a trained assassin who works for Ryders organisation she is beautiful and full of life and soon she and Hunter can't leave each other alone. This is a good read in this series and is full of intrigue .

Oh wow this was such a hot and intense story. Hunter is sent Lexi, member of the Twisted Reapers to pretend to be his girlfriend while trying to protect him. They have both had a troubled past which has made them both hardened to letting anyone get close to them. As Lexi moves into Hunter's world, meeting his family and some of his acquaintances, they relationship becomes more than pretend. Then she is given an order that chills the blood. Read an ARC for an honest review.

Hunter is one of the five kings and now it;s his turn to be in trouble and Ryder won't let anything happen so he sends in lexi is assiain. Levi hasn't had a good childhood but when Ryder and the Mc save her and her brother she's finally found a home. When she's placed to protect hunter she never expected to fall for him. Who's afraid of the big bad wolf? Not Lexi, for sure. Hunter may be a cold as ice King but underneath his frosty exterior beats a heart of a man yearning to be accepted and loved. The King series needs to be a box set, so you get the full extent of the story.

I'm such a huge fan of the King series by the amazing Stella Andrews. Lexi is such an incredible character and she has risen from the ashes and become so much more. When Ryder asks her to take on the Money King she drops everything and goes. Hunter is the perfect person, Lexi and him have so much in common and I love how they find that perfect ending.

She's a highly trained Assassin who lives and works with the Reapers. We're getting closer and closer to finding out who's trying to take down the five kings. It's Dexter's turn now and I'm off to read it now!! 😍😍😍😍😍

Boring
This one had no interest at all. It just seemed to run on just to complete a book. It’s a little tiresome with this being stretched out to so many books. I would have expected each one to become more exciting instead of boring.

Uhh huh I hate this
I loved this book! A!though I hate cliff hanger, BUT, with these you at least get the ending of each. You don't really have to go on but Dang it!! I really wanna know "who done it" so I read on.
