Katt Scallion is overjoyed when he’s asked to save a planet of sharks. It’s a chance to escape his dish-washing job – maybe forever – get back his spacecraft, and return to space-pirating.
But Katt finds himself in the middle of a war that has raged between the two tribes of sharks for the last one thousand years. The planet is dying around them. And everything Katt does seems to make the situation worse…
Can Katt save the sharks – and get off the planet – before it is too late?
Warning! Contains a super-awesome shark-shaped submarine, a starfish with a secret, a soppy love-sick sloth, and sharks galore. And those are just the things starting with ’S’! Read only if you like funny, action-packed adventures.
OMG! My son (he's 12 in a few days!) and I read this book together—it's the second book in the Katt Scallion series. We read the first book a couple of months ago and absolutely loved it. So, of course, we had to add book 2 to our TBR. This story was a delight to read from beginning to end. We agreed it was even better than book 1, and that one was excellent!
In this second book, all our favorite characters are back. Of course, there are Katt and Speedy, but also back are Robogirl, Deena, and Rumbo, whom we met in the first book. In addition, there was a whole new cast of crazy newcomers added to the mix. OMG! The laughs we got from this story were countless! Even some of the chapter titles made my son speechless. 🤣🤣🤣
Aside from being funny, the story is also terrific. Robogirl returns to ask Katt and Speedy for help moving the shark inhabitants from a dying planet to a new home. Unfortunately, the sharks are divided into two factions that are at war with one another, and each side refuses to relocate to a new planet with the other side. Unfortunately, to secure to planet's ecosystem, both sides must go together. Before they can convince the sharks to leave the planet for a new home, Katt and Speedy must find a way to make peace between the two groups.
I can honestly say that Katt Scallion is one of my favorite middle-grade series. My son says he wishes there were more books, as there are only two so far. But we are eagerly awaiting the next in the series. These books will make you laugh until you cry!🤣🤣🤣 Happy reading!
