Another great book to the series! The author once again brings strong characters and weaves another fantastic episode with a great story line. The scenes are painted in vivid detail and the story moves fluidly. I was glued to the pages right to the end and left with wanting more. I can't wait for the next book!

Book two is amazing! It’s dark and exciting, mysterious and intriguing and overall very entertaining as we follow our night rangers on their adventure! A fun read with great characters, this has me on the edge of my seat as the action really takes off! Looking forward to book three!

Book Two of the Fire Witch Chronicles, Shadow Strike is exciting, dark, mysterious and very entertaining. The foursome: Guppy, Conrad, Noah and Lucy are Night Rangers and watch over the magical society to make sure no one runs afoul or starts trouble. But trouble is brewing and the adventures the Night Rangers have, takes them into new unusual areas of the Society. I enjoy the fact that the author creates emotional growth lessons to get through to the young group. Using balance, patience, avoiding peer pressure and judgement of others we see the group grow into more well rounded, compassionate young adults. There is judgement from older Society members towards the Night Rangers that must be rectified or the Night Rangers could be shut down. Mr. Lindo's ability to include such lessens into his stories is masterful and adds another dimension to his tales. His character's are very human in depth and come alive with 16 to 18 year old angst. Guppy's ability to suss out the connection to everything is amazing as we see where this exciting tale is leading to, I can hardly wait for book Three. Shadow Strike is a magical, fast pace, adventure leading to new realms of fantasy and mystery.

The second book in a spin off from the first series of Kaira. Guppy, Conrad, Lucy and Noah make up the foursome and they are Night Rangers. The rangers keep watch over the witches and wizards who were on the wrong side during the war. The kids are 16 now and have been thru so much. The new area they have learned about is the sky realm—magic cities in the sky and magic entrances. The rangers work in groups of four and there is one group that is headed by—guess who—another Renn from one of the sky realms. Taeia Renn doesn’t know that his father is a king as Taeis is on earth—also he will be the next Winter king. The problem is Taeia is an angry ranger and acts on it so can Jacob train him to lose his anger and act like a responsible person before his 18th birthday in 6 months. Kaira comes back for a visit and to see if her original group want to join her in her new endeavor to keep the sky from war. So many exciting things going on in this book I know you will be excited to read it. I highly recommend this book and both series!!

Arrogance or evil?
Guppy, Conrad, Noah, and Lucy now make up a Night Ranger team with a mission to protect the Society Sphere from malevs and Gorrah (dark magic). Things have been relatively quiet since Kaira left to seek peace and healing but now a new danger has reared its head that may threaten the future of underage witches and wizards in the SPMA (The Society for the Preservation of Magical Artifacts).
This book has a fast-paced plot full of paranormal action. If you enjoyed the Kaira Renn series you will love this one where the brave young witches and wizards of the SPMA fight to preserve the magical world of the Society.

Shadow Strike continues Guppy Grayling’s magical adventures in the world of the Society for the Preservation of Magical Artefacts. Along with their fellow Night Rangers Noah and Lucy, Guppy and her boyfriend Conrad succeed in capturing the rogue witch they were pursuing at the end of Witching Games, with the help of an army of Sleeping Soldiers. But a comment Neve Blinn made just before her capture about people in the Society being angry about young people now being admitted to the Society gets Guppy to wondering.
This leads to another encounter with a disgruntled wizard – this time one of their fellow Night Rangers who is allowing his inner darkness to destroy his respect for other members of the Society.
In this case, it becomes interesting how the Society leaders work hard to enforce discipline while still holding to their values of peace, inclusiveness, and openness. As a result of this encounter, Guppy and her friends are pointed toward yet another adventure.
Kaira Renn makes a return appearance toward the end of the book. It is nice to see her again.

good reading. Guppy tries to track down a former creature trainer. After beng successful she has a problem with another ranger, Taeia Renn appears to have acquired black magic. She will have her work cut out to try and prove this. Well work reading.

This is a bewitching book, full of adventure with beloved characters. R.A. Lindo has a craft to his writing that is truly engaging and entertaining.
