Drinking coffee every morning at ten. Check. Getting hives from too much caffeine. Check. Falling in love with a barista. Check.
Billionaire Miles King has developed an unhealthy addition to coffee at The Daily Drip and even though his doctor tells him to cut out the caffeine, Miles can’t keep away from Eden Brooks. Eden doesn’t seem to notice his devotion, though. Money worries have the loan sharks at her heels and taking a chance on a hot billionaire seems to be the worst kind of idea.
Will this stop Miles? Nah. She could be serving him arsenic on the regular and he’d still drink it down. A little caffeine allergy, a few bookies, and a distracted cafe owner are no match for a determined billionaire.
Miles has been coming into Eden’s coffee shop for weeks and he is enamored by what he sees. He just hasn’t made his move yet. Eden has her own responsibilities such as raising her teenage brother as well as trying to run her own business but she would have to be blind not to see the gorgeous and obviously wealthy man who comes in everyday. Can she take a chance on love?
A lot of story was packed into a few pages but the reader really saw the connection between Eden and Miles. If you are looking for a quick read to occupy an hour or two I recommend this one.

Making Her mine de Ella Goode
Argumento:
Beber café todas las mañanas a las diez. Chequeado.
Tener urticaria por demasiada cafeína. Chequeado.
Enamorarse de una barista. Chequeado.
Hell no. I can handle my cheesy romance novels like no other, but this was just horrifyingly bad. It had me on the verge of screaming and ripping my hair out with utter annoyance and pure disgust. Seriously, it was that bad.
The writing made me want to gauge my own eyes out, the plot was paper thin, the pacing of the story had me completely unnerved, the characters lacked any form of depth and the romance made me cringe more than anything I think I have ever experienced.
To be completely frank, not only is the stupidity through the roof with this entire novel, the main guy of the story also really really really creeps me out. If I were Eden, I’d be scared out of my mind and freaking run! But of course she lacks the brain capacity to come to that obvious conclusion, so instead we are stuck with this so called romantic story, which would actually work way better were it presented as a thriller about some stalking, kidnapping rapist.
What a hilarious start to a wonderful little romance. This man is ready to face any sacrifices in order to be near the woman who has bewitched him.
I really liked the setting at the coffee shop and the plot surrounding the owners. It develops into a suspenseful and dangerous twist while Miles proves himself to Eden in all the right ways. He shows steady commitment, knight-in-shining-armour attitude, strong solutions, heated kisses, and infinite patience. I enjoyed the slow-burn romance as she starts trusting him. Her brother is important to her and Miles becomes a role model for him.
Very sweet, well narrated, with a good plot and lots of lovely pampering. I really liked the sister's secondary story there, looking forward to that, too.
A sweet love story with a smitten hero and an oblivious heroine. He basically gets an allergic reaction to be with her, and its worth it as he does end up getting her. Nothing special, but good one time read.
This was a really cute, adorable and fun read. I absolutely adored the hero’s persistence and determination.
The heroine has been struggling to raise her brother while also running her fathers coffee shop and trying to keep it afloat. She couldn’t believe the hero would want her and she was afraid of reaching out for something good in case it would be taken away. I loved her vulnerability.
Hero ISNT a manwhore, no mention of his past, if any, is made. Heroine is a virgin. No ow/om drama. No cheating or abuse. Possible triggers: heroine is kidnapped by shady criminals her father is mixed up with and she is slapped. HEA with epilogue.
I usually love Ella Goode books, but this one just felt mediocre. The characters didn't have chemistry and the storyline felt a little like she was phoning it in and trying to pump out this book quickly for a deadline. The ending seemed a bit hurried as well.
Sweet story. Miles wants Eden and goes after her. Just, he’s a billionaire, so, it’s not a normal way! A little action and sweet brother as a secondary character. HEA.
As always, I enjoy this author’s characters and concept. But there are so many unanswered questions. I can’t find anywhere saying this is part of a series but it feels like I’m missing a big chunk of info. What happened to his sister? Why does the business man hero that takes forever to just ask her out have what I’m assuming are mercenary friends? How does Mr Business Man know how to torture people with hairspray? I can’t handle the plot holes.
Please oh please can I have my own Miles, because he was everything you would want in a future husband. 😍Making Her Mine was A PAGE TURNER! If you love the insta trope where the guy is ready to get on bender knee before their first official meeting, I’d highly recommend picking this book up because it was everything.
Miles was the sweetest, but his love and devotion for Eden had no boundaries and he handled the hard stuff that was on her shoulders for too long. Even though Eden was such a boss lady, an amazing friend, and big sister, she still deserved to get taken care of by Miles and swept off her feet. Boy did he make her his and more! I loved the story and also the relationships they both had with their siblings. Ms.Baker I’m going to need Violet stay because we love a good shy girl and bodyguard story.
Miles has been going to The Daily Drip, well daily...lol. He is very much infatuated with Eden, the owner's daughter. Eden is struggling daily just to keep The Daily Drip running while trying to raise her younger brother. She can't count on her dead beat dad, even though he owns the place he is never there and couldn't care less what happens to his children. He's too busy drinking and gambling to give any thought to his kids and what they are going through to survive. Miles must convince Eden that he plans on being around for the long haul cause all she's ever known from her father's actions is heart break and betrayal. This is a great read and I highly recommend it!
Ay ay ay this book is bad. I was kind of willing to go with the instalove thing at the start but actually this Hero is just unhinged? Don’t get me wrong, I love a possessive, overbearing alpha as much as the next gal and I can usually suspend disbelief but this Hero is very much not that. Like if someone spoke and acted the way this guy does upon literally just introducing himself you need to call the police cause he’s a legit stalker. And the like immediate love-bombing he did and then making her feel bad/guilty for being unsure was all just very uncomfortable for me. No thank you.
I have read a few of Ella Goode’s books and generally enjoyed them, this is the exception. From the moment I opened it it was a chore to read. I didn’t get invested in the characters, in fact I kept forgetting everyone’s names and was thankful each time they were at the beginning of the chapter. The Big Finish was more of a fizzle, I won’t give any spoilers, but the main female has as much common sense as a headless chicken. Sorry, but I was really not a fan.
4.5 stars This is Eden and Miles book. Eden runs the Daily Drip coffee shop. Miles is in love and possessive over Eden. He goes there for coffee every day just to get a look at her. Will the drama that follows her and the Daily Drip be too much? Will love prevail?

Many of Ella Goode's books are ones that I will pick up when I need to escape reality for a couple hours. They are the perfect length that I can just immerse myself and have a nice HEA. I can't exactly put my finger on why this one just wasn't a favorite of mine, but it took me 2 days to read this one. I would pick it up and then read 2 chapters and just put it down because I had to interest in this one. I think a lot of my dislike came from not really feeling the chemistry between Eden and Miles. Eden has literally no idea that Miles has a thing for her even though he goes into her shop every day and her friend and co-worker has even pointed it out to her. Then later on, she sees Ryan (her brother) and Miles bonding and she is quick to point out that maybe she needs a man around so Ryan will have a positive role model. After this was mentioned in the book I kind of just quit liking her. Ryan, her brother, is already 17 almost 18 and about to graduate from high school. He's wayyy past the point that she should've been thinking about finding a male role model for him. Plus after reading this line I couldn't stop thinking that she's probably now with him because of this. Her feelings literally go from her saying no to her begging Miles to make her his all within a span of one night.
**I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book**
Brilliant read first I have read from this author and will be reading more. Eden is bringing up her younger brother plus running the coffee shop her father owns but she doesn’t understand how they are struggling only for her customer Miles who comes to the coffee shop at least once a day to help her. Miles wants to make Eden his he just needs to figure out how and the opportunity comes up when he is speaking to Ryan, Eden’s brother that he knows how to help and get closer to Eden. Miles finds out why Eden has been struggling to make ends meet and it is because of her father. When trouble comes to Eden’s shop Miles is there for Eden he is her rock she finds it difficult to let people in after her father has kept on disappointing her and Ryan but she has decided to let Miles in and help her shoulder the trouble that comes her way. Miles will never let anything happen to Eden even when the men her father owes money too come looking for payment.
Romance genre: insta-love (although the insta-love takes place off-page) Series: Length:
Plot: Miles is in love with Eden, and so he visits her coffee shop every day at least once, sometimes more, even though his doctor has told him to stop all the caffeine. He finally asks her out, but things are not smooth sailing. Eden's father is not a good person and isn't above involving Eden in his slightly criminal lifestyle. When his shenanigans become dangerous for Eden, Miles will be there to protect and love her.
Commentary: The best thing about Miles was - well, everything. I loved the way he automatically folded her brother into his family and took care of him too. I love the playful fighting with his sister. I loved the way he slightly stalked Eden, but in a good way, you know? I loved how he supported her work, no matter what, and how he always set out to make things easier for her. This was a sweet story of a hero who would do anything to make his girl happy.
So many things in this book ruin the story because it’s a decent premise but come on did NO ONE edit it?
1-Intro (and sister’s book) show the H’s last name as King yet in the story multiple times he says it’s Monroe 2- the h’s last name is Brooks (in the intro & nowhere else is it mentioned) and yet the H’s company is magically Brooks Mgmt Group 3-later in the story the H’s estate has been “in the family for years” and they also have a country house YET at the start the H had a billion dollar IPO after “trying to get my business off the ground with nothing more than a prayer and a few hundred dollars required years of hustle and working eighteen hour days” 4-the h has been raising her brother “since Mom skipped town almost ten years ago” at one point and then later in the story “since my mom died, I’ve been the one to take care of everyone else”
Miles has a problem, he’s obsessed with coffee shop owner Eden, but just found out he’s allergic to coffee. He’ll gladly suffer just to be near Eden. He tries to find a way to talk to her to ask her out. When Eden is having problems with her distributor and the cost of the products Miles takes to opportunity to offer his help. Eden has her hands full with her failing coffee shop, her gambling addict dad and caring for her teenage brother, Ryan. She’s not sure about Miles but takes a chance on him, plus Ryan really likes the guy. I loved how Miles was committed to Eden and her brother, he was there for her at every mishap. And it was nice that Eden wasn’t stubborn , she accepted Miles’s help. When her dad’s debts have goons visiting her and destroying her shop Miles is there for her. They move in with him and soon his family loves her just like Miles does. Drama with the dad, Miles aka Batman saving the day. I loved how he took Ryan with him to find and confront the guys who destroyed the coffee shop and her dad, his relationship with Ryan, his future brother in law was awesome. Cute epilogue with kids and Ryan.
