Gut wrenching..
THE FIFTH WIFE A NOVEL by MARATA EROS and EMILY GOODWIN: 5 stars
Audrey/Kiev — find each other in the worst circumstances. Audrey, chosen/the fifth wife, and Kiev the first son. His father, a cult leader and driven by “Power. Greed. Perversion.” First, it’s unbelievable what people allow to happen/by believing lies and giving up control. And second, the wickedness behind closed doors… wow. This story is hard hitting and well written. But not for the faint hearted.

This book deals with hard issues. Although it does have a ‘happy’ ending, the characters go through much to get there. This story is not an easy read but it is worth it. It is a story of how damaged people can heal and find love and live life. Marata and Emily crafted characters you come to care about and also characters you hate; you become emotionally invested in the story. I was a fan of Marata Eros before this book, and now I will check out Emily Goodwin’s books.
