After years of serving his country, Sin reclaims his life and forms the Ares Infidels MC, with like-minded military brothers. They decide his home town of Tenillo, Texas is the perfect place to build their futures. By forming a club where they get to make the rules and determine what orders to follow. Him and his brothers think life is going great, until a conversation with the new Chief of Police and Times Served MC president, Boss. That’s when they discover their town is in crisis. One that none of them plan to let continue. They join forces to make sure it doesn’t. However, Sin is blindsided almost immediately by the beautiful Lyric, a high school teacher fearing for the safety of her students. She’s looking for someone to help her. One meeting and she becomes Sin’s enticement, his universe. As Sin works to convince her to give this former Navy Seal turned biker a chance, more crimes and shady dealings come to light. Ones that show Tenillo is in more trouble than any of them first imagined. Again, and again, danger finds them and their allies and Lyric seems to be at the center of it. Sin, the Ares Infidels, and the Time Served guys battle to protect their town, their loved ones, and their futures. Sin and Lyric’s tale may end in happily ever after for them, but the trials and tribulations are far from over for these two clubs or their town. They have a town to rescue. And they’ll bring the fury of the Ares Infidels down on anyone who gets in the way.
An avid reader with a passion for romances that finally got the chance to write one of her own. The rest is history. Not what anyone thought for someone who has been a nurse and in healthcare management for years.
I sit writing as my two fur babies, my pugs Kujo and Khaos, impatiently wait for me to get done so they can lay on me as their human sofa!
My children are finally considered to be adults, so it's me, the hubby and the dogs.
I'm a iced tea drinking fiend who has insomnia, more ideas than I know what to do with, and a need to write them down.
Not too bad for a girl from rural Ohio in the foothills of Appalachia that grew up in a town of about 4000 people.
4.4 stars. I am loving these characters. And the fact that this series and the Time Served MC series are written in tandem so that you switch back in forth is really working for me. So far I’m really digging the way these 2 clubs intertwine. And how the big over arching plot is unfolding between the two. I’ve never really seen anything like this before, but it’s turning out to be really cool. Definitely keeping my attention whereas I feel like I normally can’t read multiple books in a series back to back because my attention just wavers and I get burnt out. These two series are keeping it interesting and they feel just different enough to hold my eye. So cool.
This book was so good. There were a few parts where I was feeling a little iffy about it all, though. A few moments in the beginning with dialogue that felt just a hair off. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it just didn’t feel, natural, I guess. Then, Sin and Lyric’s relationship had a pretty rocky start. And at times I was definitely annoyed with Lyric’s timidity. She had a hard time accepting and trusting Sin at the beginning. To which she had some good points at times, but I just think she could’ve handled it all better and I definitely rolled my eyes in frustration a few times. That, at least, I feel actually had purpose in the story though. It totally allowed room for growth with each character. So that wasn’t too bad.
But the sex. Holy shit. Sin and Lyric really explore each other, and it’s absolutely sexy. It was rough, and passionate, and loving, and Sin was dominating but still completely sweet and caring. I was not expecting what happened but I thought it was super hot.
Though. There was a bit where they talked about getting tattoos, which never happened. So I’m kind of bummed about that because we were teased with where and what it would be but it was never mentioned again. Maybe it’ll pop up in one of the other books? But I’m still kind of disappointed that we never got answers in that. I always find any kind of tattoo of piecing scenes hot and they usually lead to sexy times so I feel like we missed out on out that. Non of my gripes ruined my enjoyment of the book though. I thought it was really entertaining and I couldn’t put it down.
I can’t wait to read the next book. I believe we’re switching back over to Cee, with Hook next, and I’m excited to see what’s going on with him and Paula and how everything that’s happening in town is gonna expand. I love this.
Sin has come home from his time in the Navy SEALS and built himself a life as the President of the Ares Infidels MC. He and his men are proud of all they have established but when a slip of a woman calls his MC out, Sin's interest is peaked.
Lyric needs help as she believes there is something going on at the school she works for, as a teacher her kids come first but no one at the school she works at seems to be listening that something is off. On an off chance she takes a chance for help by reaching out to the Ares Infidels MC, but she is quickly disappointed when one of the prospects puts her in her place. The problem is the prospect should not have spoken for the MC and Sin is determined to show Lyric she has her perception of them all wrong. Lyric falls just as fast for Sin but there is a danger surrounding Lyric that no one sees coming.
I really enjoyed what I hope is a new series. This book has a cross over with the Times Served new series by Cee Bowerman so I need to read Boss to get the full concept of both series. I enjoyed the dynamic of what was going on with Lyric as well as the chemistry between all the characters was fantastic. Can't wait for more in this series.
The premise of the story was good, but the dialog was a bit stilted. The h was a confusing character... she was a sweet teacher with some self esteem issues that went around slapping, punching, and yelling at people. It was a jumble of a character for me.
I loved this one!! Hell the shock at the end through me for a loop for a minute there but I fucking loved it! This one goes with another series and I just can't wait to watch all of this men fall in love and clam what belongs to them. Fuck I just need to read the next book.
H is faithful but I’m over club bunnies. Coulda been 4 stars without the club bunny stuff. I’m sorry but I’m not spending time with a bunch of my man’s ex FBs. 🤮 and he’d never allow it to be reversed.
I wish I wish….I want a good MC series with no bunnies but good angst. I mean are MC men so pathetic they have to pay for sex bc that’s what they do with bunnies. Good God go to the bar and get laid like normal people 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

This is the first book in the series but it follows another book written by another author. I felt like the MC was a little softer than what I'm used to. I didn't care for Lyric, she had too much input in the club. Sin was not alpha which was odd since he was the President of the MC. I think the author tried to make up for this by having him be "dominant" in the bedroom but that didn't really work either. My main complaint is the storyline. All the shady things that were going on in the other book continued in to this one and the issue is still not resolved. At this point I don't care who's behind it.
I really didn't care for the characters in this one at all. Not enough depth with these characters.
It was a "skim" through much of it to get to the finish. This is a book that goes in tandem along with Cee Bowermans new MC series ," Time Served." Bowermans books are far better. I will probably read the next in this series to see if this author improves/evolves at all. But I'll probably just stick to CB'S books in the future.
FMC - combo Mary-Sue, It-Girl, and Pick-Me. I’m not a fan! She slut shames the ‘bunnies’, while absolving the men and drooling over them.
[My dislike for the bunnies is not women choosing to have casual sex, but choosing to do so with men who treat them like unpaid hookers, and used condoms afterwards. 😮💨🥺 The MMC’s inner monologues include that these women aren’t relationship worthy. He openly tells the other guys that the FMC is not a ‘bunny’, she’s a ‘lady’, the implication clear, and endorsed by all the characters.]
The guys are shallow depictions of what is expected from ‘military fantasies’. The author try’s too hard to make them sound tough, smart, and ‘masculine’, making it come across as poor acting and b-grade movie dialogue. Even the inner monologues left me cringing. No mention of any women in the service’s.
This may have gotten better, but I couldn’t find a reason to continue. It was clear this was just something that was going to rub me the wrong way, with the writing too sub-par to see if it smoothed out.
The name "Sin" explains alot about the President of the Ares Infidels MC and a former Navy Seal. He leads a group of MC brothers, who also have previously served in the military.
Ares Infidels MC own several businesses in Texas and assist and protect those in the community and in need, whenever possible.
When Lyric, a High School Maths Teacher, discovers some shady dealings, she turns to Sin's club for help. He is smitten when he sees his "Angel Face" and will go to any length to make sure she is safe, no matter the cost.
Lyric's best friend Kerrigan, a Spanish teacher at her school, becomes a rock for her, a pillar of strength, standing up for her, believing her when she is worried and concerned for her students. She encourages Lyric to seek the help of Ares Infidels MC.
Will Lyric survive her time with the sexy MC president or will tragedy strike first.
Lyric is strong willed, has her own identity and most importantly backs herself all the way. My favourite scene of hers was a run in with Linc a prospect with the club, the second time. She really shows she won't put up with any shit, even a biker.
The plot and characters were so well written and the story believable that I couldn't wait to see what happens next.
Sin is a dominant alpha male in and out if the bedroom. He will not let outside forces get in the way of protecting the ones he loves.
The sex is amazing. Ciara St James writes descriptive and wild sex scenes. Loved it.
I felt a strong emotional connection to the characters, and the novel played out in front of me, as if I were seeing a movie unfold in front of my eyes.
This series, as well as it's cross over series Time Served by Cee Bowerman are both something I would definately recommend. One of the best MC Romance authors I have ever read.
This is my first time reading this author and I am very glad that her stories intermingle with Cee Bowerman from her Time Served MC story and the ones that will follow from them both. I really thought that Lyric was a smart and strong willed young lady at such a young age, but being a teacher and doing it for she loves seeing her students thrive in her class as well as others, but she noticed that some of her really great students were slacking in their grades and missing classes. She did do a little snooping before she took her concerns to Sin at his motorcycle club and he inturned had Boss the police chief come out to his club and get him involved as well as his club. Drugs were being sold at school and come to realize one of the teachers was involved as well. This teacher and others wanted to stop Lyric and Sin's club from investigating, so there were several accidents that happened to them both. Really enjoyed reading this author and book and looking forward to more of these stories from both authors. Happy reading.
Sin's Enticement by Ciara St. James is a wonderful follow-up story in the Tenillo Guardians series. Looked forward to reading Sin's story after his intro in Boss: Time Served by Cee Bowerman. This is a very successful collaboration between both authors since the story seemed to pick up right where it left off in the first book, and gives the reader hints to what may be in the future books in both the Ares Infidels MC and the Time Served MC. I loved the story between Sin and Lyric - couldn't put my Kindle down!
I really liked this story. Sin and Lyric are a great couple. They are well developed and all the side characters are fun. The storyline flows well, and balances details with pacing. I like how most of the drama is surrounding the main characters, instead of being the result of the main characters making bad decisions.
Ciara did a great job weaving this book into the world we first glimpsed in Cee Bowerman’s book, Boss. This is a cool collaboration. It’s awesome to see authors working with each other like this.
This is unbelievably good! It is going to make a wonderful series if all the books are as engaging as this one. There is lots of heat, feisty women, hot alpha ex military bikers, angst, fighting drug dealers to high schoolers, and trying to clean up crime in their hometown. Romantic HEA, no cliffhanger but the MC does stand up to the criminals in their town and defends women. Enjoy this one. Sin and his men are hot.
This is my first read by Ciara St. James but it won’t be my last.
Loved the interaction between the H/h, the club dynamic and the storyline. This second installment of the Tenillo guardians was a seamless transition from book one and worth my loss of sleep since I couldn’t put it down.
I am looking forward to the next book from this amazing team.
I love Sin and Lyric!! Their story is awesome! Some surprise twists that I totally wasn’t expecting. So happy to see everyone from Time Served MC and really start to get to know the members of the Area Infidels MC. Love this combined series and am so excited to get more! ❤️
The concept of 2 authors writing together this way is awesome! Each author focusing on one club but intertwining them keeps the story going and more fun for us readers. So ready for the next books from each.
This book was a great beginning to this series! Sin and Lyric are amazing characters and we get to see some future characters that are going to be just as amazing! 5 stars is just not enough!
Wow!!! I wasn't sure what to expect with this series coming from Ciara and I was not disappointed. This book kept me on my toes and all the way until the end. I also loved the connections to Cee Bowerman's Time Served!!!
Absolutely fantastic book. I loved Sin and Lyric's story. There's lots of action, twists and turns. You'll be hooked with this one. There's even a few reveals that'll catch you off guard , maybe even surprise you. It's a must read. Definitely recommend.
Sin is Lyrics story was Awesome, I am seriously loving this series. This is one of those series that sucks you in and makes you part of the world that you’re reading about. I can’t wait for Hook!
In this first book Sin and his ex military bu#ies start a mc in town . But the town and school has a big problem. Will take Sin, Boss and a sexy teacher to save the town.
I absolutely loved this book, I has a great story and a fantastic twist, the relationship between sin and lyric is amazing and I can't wait for the next book
While this book is the first of this series, it's the second in the interconnected series with the Time Served MC series. I really like how these are coming together. How in each book the one MC takes center stage, but the other MC characters show up often to get in on the action.
It was interesting to see how this MC was set up vs the other, full of Vets that loved the brotherhood aspect of the service, but didn't want to be in the service any more. These Ares guys are ambitious, they have set up a compound, have 7 businesses around town and now are helping Boss and the Time Served guys clean up the town. With this book they are drawn into things going wonky at the high school by Lyric, who is newer to town and a bit leery of the police, knowing their rep for not doing anything and how Boss used to be a convict. She doesn't realize all the changes that are happening and she could have gone to Boss, instead she turns to Sin and the guy so Ares.
To say that the first encounter between the 2 are bad is under delivering, the next one wasn't much better, but Lyric was able to get through and tell her story to Sin and the guys. From there they were all in and called the Boss and the Time Served guys. Things happen about how you expect, with the bad guys being who you would guess. The one things that did surprise me was who one of the bad guys were and why. So petty! Things were figured out and on the start to getting taken care of. With so many bad things happening in Tenillo, it will take a long time to get rid of all the bad things, but each step is one closer.
On a side note, can I say how much I loved Lyric going off about the club bunnies and their role in the club's life. Better was that she got all the guys to agree with her!
I enjoyed the story but there was more sex than story. This author can REALLY write a sex scene though. I’ll give her that. Holy crap! Very detailed. She is good! But there was no humor or camaraderie between the club members like I was expecting. The story itself was good. I was surprised at who was the “bad guy”.
I can't deal with her....She is the wrong female for Sin.....Lyric acted unstable when the slightest thing happened. She had one issue that we know of in college and she lets that control everything.... She has extreme anger issues for most of the time when she isn't having sex or around students..... The book itself minus this character is wonderful. I don't think this female is the strong woman character.... I would have called her a few bad words if she was a real person. This isn't a relationship that should have not happened.... I expected more for Sin......if a man acted like Lyric than she would have been called a narcissist or an mentally abusive I am hoping that the rest of the relationships in this series is better....
Ugh. ☹️I mostly felt anger and frustration while reading this book. Lyric was SO FUCKING OBLIVIOUS I wanted to throw my iPad against the wall. She kept doing colossally stupid things that put everyone in danger. Actually I felt that EVERYONE was oblivious, and the mystery villains were so obvious it was ridiculous. I really don’t like plots where the only thing keeping the mystery going is the blind ignorance of the characters. I’m going to read the Time Served (Cee Bowerman) series because I loved book 1 and I guess I have to read more of this one because it’s intertwined, but I don’t have high hopes that the rest of Ares Infidels will be any better than this one. Eugh.
Ciara St James has hit it out of the park with the first book of the Ares Infidels MC/second book in the Tenillo Guardians series. Ciara and Cee have created a world that you will want to be part of, full of characters you will fall in love with (I'm calling dibs on Wrecker). Dive in, you cannot go wrong with Ciara St James or Cee Bowerman, and what they have created together is amazing!
