From authors, Pamela Gail and Denise Samples, comes a story wrought in anger and tribulation. Their debut novel Sometimes They Fall, Book One in the Light in the Darkest Hour series, is the story of brothers living in a small, beach town on the Georgia coast. The Oliver boys know how to hide, lie, and cheat to get what they want. The ties that bind even the closest of families aren’t always enough to keep a family whole.Told from multiple points of view, the brothers fight through trials of a broken family unit and tragedy. They each struggle to find their way and wade through the broken pieces of their lives, past and present, just and unjust. One problem after another slowly unravels their bond until one choice changes the course of everyone’s life.
I was interested and intrigued by the excerpt of the book as well as the title and book cover but since not having read any books by either of the authors I was not sure what to expect even after reading the book excerpt, however imagine my surprise when I pleasantly surprised that this book was actually a good story now I want to read the other books in the series. I do recommend this book I want to read this book sometime in the future and hope to get to read the rest of the series in paperback like I got to read this book in paperback. ****Please Note**** the authors gave me a paperback book to read and review in exchange for my honest review.
