Here are some more believable statements:

Scott was born in St. John’s, Newfoundland – the easternmost province of Canada.

During his decade-long journey to become a full-time author, he supported himself by working an assortment of jobs…

...salmon hatchery technician, grocery clerk, youth care worker, ghostwriter, research assistant, pita maker, and freelance editor.

In 2014, he succeeded in becoming a full-time novelist, and he’s been writing science fiction at light speed ever since.

This is book #3 of the Fleet Ops series. This is not truly standalone and one should read books #1 and #2 in order before starting this book.

This was a better conclusion that I expected. I hate to downplay this Fleet Ops series, but it seemed to be all action and no plot. Well, if you can call military space battles for the sake of having soldiers die while trying to kill the enemy a plot, go for it. I was hoping for a bit more. At least I thought this ending a bit better than the previous two installments.

I am not convinced that Bartlett is my type of author. That is just me. I am not disappointed, but I am not going to be actively looking for his next book.

This book took me a bit of time to read, but mostly due to other life events disrupting my reading time.

Have a GoodReads.

This story is part of a series, book 3 of Fleet Ops. I recommend that readers enjoy the first two books first. As with the rest of the series the world building is exotic full of alien backdrops. The characters continue to be defined by the plot and it’s environment. This story is driven by the stresses that the characters endure in their service to mankind’s and their allies survival. The authors are masters of military sci-fi some of the best writing today IMHO. I recommend this book to all those that enjoy this genre but also anyone who enjoys a well written book.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Relentless is the third book in The Fleet Ops series by Scott Bartlett - which is a high-octane blend of military sci-fi action, tactical intrigue, and character-driven storytelling that thrusts us into a universe where space warfare feels both thrillingly cinematic and still entirely believable.
Mr. Bartlett’s worldbuilding is crisp and the fleet engagements are described with a clarity that makes you feel like you’re right there on the bridge, watching the tactical displays light up. The stakes escalate naturally, and by the final book, the sense of urgency is almost palpable.
A must-read for fans of tactical space battles and character-driven sci-fi.
Happy Reading…

I absolutely loved the finale to this series. So many times my heart was beating rapidly as the Broods just kept on coming and unloading their nasty loads who unloaded more nasty loads. Hate those things and the acid they spread. Nasty! And I really had high hopes when they first found the pirates. There is so much more I could say about what's going to happen, but why ruin the surprise of a good read. You're in for a great and exciting read. Keep putting out such fantastic books Scott Bartlett and Joshua James. You guys are great writers together.

Another dose of nerve-wracking tension from an author who is as good as Rick Partlow is when Rick is at his very best. Intriguing scenarios. Characters to hate or to cheer for, but none of them dull or generic. Familiar tactics and weapons give way to the need to get even more creative and daring, as destruction of the fleet is all-but-insured The scope of Scott Bartlett’s Ixan Saga has once more expanded. And when you finish this trilogy, you need to take a deep breath in anticipation of whatever is coming next

The last book in the box set gave us a good finish and left us with the possibility of further stories involving the main characters of Fleet Ops. This series overall had good character and plot development (including twists). New and very unusual alien species were introduced and linked to their overall universe arc. I enjoyed all three books in this set and gave it 5 stars. I look forward to any future books involving these characters.

The Relentless may be destroyed and Captain Husher in a coma, but all is not yet lost in Scott Bartlett and Joshua James’ Relentless (Fleet Ops Book 3) and as a result we readers are in for a treat in this exciting tale. I’m not going to say anything more as I don’t want to spoil the plot, but I will say that it’s well told - and I highly recommend it.

Intertaining, and gets better with each book, however I read this series without the backstory.

Very cool plot, but I should have read the first books first, still an enjoyable read, Good job guys! Thanks

Good read

This was a fun/good read. It was not a shorty story barely worth the cost. It wasn't overly long either. It did have complexities that were worthy of chewing on.

SO. GOOD.

So much goodness here. My favorite part of all Bartlett's Ixan Universe stuff has always been the aerial combat and this book had it in spades. Fesky and the rest of her crew are fantastic and the mech action is solid as always as well. Thanks to the aurhors for an excellent story and the narrator for another riveting performance. High quality H2O.
