The sands of time always come due. All debts must be paid. The greatest mistake of all beings, small and large, weak and powerful… we all believe that we have more time. But we are not the gods of time, and when one of us fucks with their domain there is always a price to pay. Somehow our names have been called to settle the debt. Most of New York City has been covered with a mysterious sand that holds the terror of our hearts, it holds our memories, everyone’s memories, all of us are caught in the midst of its power; living the worst version of our hearts. Everyone has monsters that haunt them in the dark, but mine are bigger badder and have a shit load of bang. But perhaps time will be my blessing, let this war be done, this war I’ve raged since the day I swallowed Sheba’s soul. Win or lose let it be done.

About the author

Lark Adams is the dark urban fantasy author of the Twisted Eventide series, first novel published October 23rd, 2013 titled Snow Covered Moon. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Lark graduated from Polytechnic Institute in 1999, she received two Associates degrees one in computer aided drafting and another in mechanical engineering. But her true passion and love has always been for the written word. She’s currently working on the next book in the Echoes of Time series.

When not designing mechanical systems she enjoys reading a good novel, drinking a good cup of coffee and letting the words on the page take her to new exciting places.
