The golden prophecy has been passed down for nearly a century in the LaRue family and is coming to fruition. The Moon Goddess has really outdone herself this time as a tangled past clashes with this unlikely mating. Warning: This series is not intended for anyone under the age of 18 or anyone who doesn't enjoy a good spank. It will take you on adventures around the world, make you laugh, fall in love, and possibly leave you drooling. Side effects can only be cured by reading the next book in the Golden Series, Golden Wolf coming in August 2021.
**The Golden Series is a spinoff from the Broken Trilogy, but can be read separately.**
Golden Prophecy is told from dual POV — Cassi and Mac. I don’t have a problem with that at all. But, I do have a problem with the writing. When I read this book, it feels like I repeatedly skipped a few minutes in a movie. In my opinion, it needs a better scene transition.
From the first chapter, I got the feeling that this book is going to be a little bit annoying because how much the author describes the little things like ‘brushing my teeth’, ‘dropped my bread in the toaster’, etc. There are so many unnecessary things that are written in the book.
Another thing is, Mac is very… unstable for a 29 years old man and a freaking king. The whiplash that I got from him was unbelievable. He just abducted, mildly tortured, and screamed at Cassi. Then, the next time they are in the same room, they eat each others’ faces. In short, they are both annoyed me.
I understand this is a soulmate trope. But, I was hoping there would be at least a decent conversation between the two of them before jumping to something spicy.
This book is from a dual point of view as well, jumping from Cassi to Mac. I didn't expect all the twists and turns so soon in this book, but wow, they definitely intrigued me. I have to say the author surprised me. I didn't see that one coming. The adventures in this book really take them around the world. So many things come into play with this couple, so many pieces of the puzzle clicking and some causing issues in the families. After the battle, many truths come to light, including the mysterious prophecy. The seer they were searching the world for, with the travels, happens to be found. The book ends in the must-read epilogue with a surprise and a happy ending. I can't wait to read more in this series and by this fantastic author.
This book is fantastic is full of adventure, love, and turmoil. I was so excited to chase the prophecy with the characters and learn more about them at the same time. Despite the families and history, they took small steps toward friendship, family, and love. I really enjoyed the adventure in the read. The snarky comments and sassy characters were fun to visualize as I was reading. I'm excited to read what the author comes up with next.
What can I say? It is a werewolf book. So yeah, there are a few clichés. Okay. It is all a big cliché. However, that's exactly what I was looking for. I was looking for something light, that I knew what to expect, with a HEA. The plus, for me, is that there isn't much couple drama. The couple is pretty straightforward in their instant connection and come on people, an instant connection is what werewolves do best, with the whole mating bond thing. The writing has a few errors and misspellings, but it is not because the writer doesn't know how to write. It feels like the result of a lack of an editor to proofread the book, suggest some phrases, and correct a few words. If indeed there is no editor, I praise the author because it's really hard to be in the zone when writing and not make mistakes, especially grammatical and orthographical.
It's a well written story and I'm looking forward to the next edition. I well say I didn't care for this as well as the others! That being said, I believe it's because of the female lead Cassi! I found her to be arrogant and to full of herself! Her superior attitude of herself rubbed me the the wrong way. Completely different from other lead characters from previous books. They didn't act like her and they went thru more in their lives then she did. Hopefully the next is better!!!!!
Oookay so i really like their story too. This is the first of the second series, Golden Series. The second book is out but not the rest of it. I like how it is one continuous history going through the family tree. I'm curious about the next wolf's story and the war to come. I'm mad because I'll have to wait for more, so I'll probably just wait before I read the next book. Really like how Lukas stay part of the story, how Casi is so powerful but also kind and rooted. Loved to see Dimitri as a loving grandparent and to know Storm is strong as ever.

I was hooked after the first book I was sad that the trilogy ended, but I was happy to see the author incorporated characters from the first three books. So glad we will get to see the end of this Prophecy, I can't wait for the next book. Or maybe short stories about some of the characters talked about in this story like Seth and Rachel and grandfather Crow. One can hope.
The storyline was interesting. I made it about 78% before I was cheesed out. Besides becoming way to cheesy the further you read on, there is also the pov switches. I love multiple pov, but these povs are of pretty much the same thing that has just taken place from said different person. It's kinda annoying. The wolf's having separate names is a little bit to much, and them sounding like cave ppl when speaking was weird. Not for me.
Even though I’ve read the entire series at least 5 times I seem to always gravitate to Broken Omega and Golden Prophecy. Something about the wag Lukas loves that makes me adore him. Although not with them physically you can still feel the love he has for his daughter and mate. Kind of makes you have hope that when our loved ones move on they still love us the same wherever they are.
During a discussion with the author she stated that “death wasn’t the end”. I loved how she portrayed faith and brought sense of closure after the tragic ending of the last book. Can’t wait to see what Alpha Aries has in store for us. I also love how you have grown as a writer. Amazingly done 🥰🥰🥰
This series is driving me crazy I'm loving the stories that are building up to the end but I just want to be on the final book to see what the war is, I'm hoping I'm not building myself up for disappointment 😳
I'm enjoying reading all the ways these families lives keep entwining, I definitely need a family tree.
XXX! Adult content, reader discretion advised. Reputations can proceed us. They can also be misconstrued. Mac had this problem. Cassie kept her head down and minded her own business. In a case of mistaken identity Mac had her taken to his pac. The past and future were forever intertwined.
Loved the story. Great sequel to Lukas and Syble's story. I'm so happy that she gets to spend time with Lukas. I'm looking forward to continuing on with Cassi and Michael's story with their children
I am hooked on the series! You feel every emotion with every paragraph and each book! I love, laugh, & cry and I can not put the books down! I can not wait for the next! The series is a must read!!
Once again amazing. I started to cry as soon as I started. I hate we lost Luk in the last book. So this one just touched my soul. I loved how this book came together. Can't wait to see how Are rules the world
I’m so happy that this is a continuation from the Broken Series. They have all been excellent. I guarantee that you will love this series and the series prior. They’re all must reads!
After the Broken Luna series I was expecting a bit more from this one. Not much character building and romance seemed a bit pushed and hurried. Maybe its all the slow burn fairy romance I have read lately and this would have been a perfectly adequate book before for me.
How did this book get so many high reviews? I don't even know how or why I finished it. The plot was interesting but the writing was bland it and the characters one dimensional. Don't get sucked in hoping it's gets better because it doesn't!
I’ve really enjoyed the first book in the series. It got the characters and the action. I love the sense of family in this book. Some characters got closure. Good writer
This book pleasantly strays from the others. This should be a six book series. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the changes to the plot, the traveling and descriptive environments. Enjoy!
It has start of a good story, I am unsure about it still. It isn't as detailed as I was expected and alot happens in a short period of time, then time spreads up to compensate, or so it seems. We'll see what happens next.
I was just looking for some thing to read, as I love reading about werewolves love stories came across this one and while it started off a bit slow the more I read it the more engaged. I am on to read the second book. Definitely a highly recommended series
She's Subtle daughter grown and playing cello in London. When she's kidnapped she finds her mate the Rouge King of the Moon Realm. Another exciting book in this series.
Oooh how I loved this. Just what the doctor ordered. A happy family reunion. The suspense of what happens next! I want to turn to the end of the next book to find out how things turn out. But I wont. Book 2 let the read-a-thon begin.😍
It took me a while to start this series because the last book this series spun off from just about broke my heart completely. I am glad I finally picked it up from my TBR pile. It was an awesome book.
I loved this book! The way it spoke to me as if I was watching a movie. It was very smooth with transitions and easily spend 3 hours reading it and losing track of time!
