Sugary, candy sweet. I love the male lead! He's so charming. The female lead is not as strong a character but she's very cute. I would've liked to know more about the Hu Ge side couple rather than the one we got but it's okay. I'm glad they had a happy ending, too.

Very quick and lighthearted college romance story with a lot of gaming elements.

The story follows our FL, Xiang Nuan, who falls in love at first sight with a senior. She finds out he's in the e-sports club, so she joins it to get closer to him and starts playing Kings of Glory. She meets someone through the game who started playing at the same time as her, so the two of them agree to play and get better together and quickly realize that they're students at the same school. Surprise surprise, that ends up being the ML, Lin Chuyan.

For a group of casual players, there are more gaming elements in the story than I expected, to the point where I think it overshadows the romance a bit. There were some cute scenes between the main leads, but not as much as I expected given the college setting. The confession was cute but it happened so quickly and I was like, that's it??

A lot of the story reads as slice of life, so I personally found it a bit slow and was bored at times, especially when the group was playing through all the different Kings of Glory tournaments. There were surprisingly a lot of them. It also got a bit old that professional teams tried to get the FL to try out and join them multiple times, partially based on her good looks. I get that she's the main character, but I doubt her skills are that good as a casual player...
