Since the recent unexpected death of their parents, the sisters Kerrie and Emily Wright have been each other's everything. The girls have only ever known life in the big city of Cheyenne and although they have always felt at home there, they are both ready for a change. While Emily wants to move to Green River to marry David, the man that she loves, Kerrie longs to see the world and grow as a person and has little desire to stay in a small town. However, after both sisters realize that being apart is the worst thing right now, Kerrie decides to follow her sister to her new life. Upon their arrival, she bumps into Henderson, who will unexpectedly spark intense emotions within her. Will the adventure she seeks come in the form of a heartwarming love, or will she regret this decision?
Henderson Hughes has lived in Green River his whole life but has always dreamed of bigger and better places. He's fully focused on moving forward in his work and he has completely forsaken romantic relationships. When his friend encourages Henderson to spend time with his soon-to-be wife and her sister, who are new in town, Kerrie and Henderson's worlds collide, making him doubt his own thoughts. Can he handle the vivid emotions born without warning, or will he choose to run away from them?
To their surprise, Kerrie and Henderson soon discover their shared love for personal growth, life in the big city, and the fact that neither of them wants to engage in any sort of romantic relationship. When their perspective changes, turning their friendship into something more, will they be brave enough to admit it? Will they manage to break down each other's walls, or will their ego rob them of a happy future together?
"When their Worlds Collide" is a historical romance novel of approximately 60,000 words. No cheating, no cliffhangers, and a guaranteed happily ever after.
I enjoyed the book very much however I dislike having to get the extended epilogue. I dont do it. If you cant put it in the book then dont write it! I’m sorry but that is my opinion. I dislike having to give my email and therefore get junk mail!!
Kerrie and Henderson, neither want anything to do with the other simply because her sister Emily is marrying his bestfriend David! However, things can always change, right? What happens when these two meet? Will things get any better? What about when Kerrie gets extremely ill? Who's Edgar and how does he figure into everyone's life? Only one way to find out, read this great story by Lilah Rivers. You won't want to put it down till the last word! Then you will want to also read the extended epilogue to find out just a little more! 👍
A really good story. Kerrie and Henderson’s story was an enjoyable read both have grand ideas and places they want to go. They meet when Kerrie comes to Green River with her sister. As you read the story you will see the growth each character experiences it made for an interesting book. Now do expect some action it is not peaches and cream but the ending was great.
When their Worlds Collide An Inspirational Historical Romance Book
A very good story about two people that decide they don't want to marry but the attraction is inevitable and they fall in love The characters are determined and courageous The extended epilogue completes the story
I liked the main characters in your story. I thought the ending was a bit corny having her "work" and Henderson stay at home with the coming baby. I do t feel that was overly realistic for the time period. Kind of off putting.
Kerrie moves with her sister when she marries. She soon meets the friend of her brother-in-law. Everyone wants them to marry. Henderson becomes a good friend. Jeanette Stracner
There were so many little scenes that seemed like the author was trying to be progressive that just weren’t practical for the time period. I scrolled through and didn’t really read much after page 48.
I loved this book and the characters. Even though I was given a copy of this book by the author, it in no way influenced my opinion and this is my honest review.
fun quick read even if a bit on sweet side Would have been nice if epilogue had been included so didn't have to go looking for it (I didn't bother) sure it their wedding and happy ever afterending
