They've stolen the hearts of millions of adoring fans, their faces are blasted across every magazine, their voices are played on the radio, and their faces are never far from the spotlight. It’s Bad..so bad

I don’t even know where to begin. I guess first off the writing is very basic. The author does not know how to create a world where is the reader is just immersed in. And a lot of the storyline is just ludicrous. And even the parts that are believable, it’s just bad written. You don’t even know why the people are falling in love. They say a few lines and have sex. Something really horrendous happens and they have more sex. And I had to skim over the sex scenes, keep in mind that this is something I never do, because it was just so boring and repetitious. Honestly, I can’t think of why anyone would like this book. There’s also some quality issues, so I definitely need to refund.

A stunning rockstar RH romance! It’ll take you on a wild ride of emotions.

Years after having her heart broken by her childhood sweethearts, in a twist of fate, Clara is now going to become face to face with them.

This story was full of angst, misunderstanding, spicy romance, and all things rocker. I can’t wait for more from E.L. Rose.

I'm more of a series reader but was intrigued by this standalone and thought I would give it a shot. I'm glad i did as I liked it and was glad I read it but it moved pretty fast.

I really enjoyed the book in the beginning but I'd say towards the last two thirds of the book it moved way too fast for me at least. There was just a whole lot going on between the h and H's that it would have been better to make it into a duet possibly or at least a little longer. I also felt like the relationships between them were lacking just a tiny bit and I would have loved to see them grow a little bit more. I will say however that Everette was the highlight of the whole book. He just seemed to bring them all together and it made a wonderful story.

It's a short read and while I would have liked to see a bit more development from the relationships it was still a fun read while I was in between books.

This is a must read

Okay, so supposedly this story is fast paced but that couldn't be farther from the truth. It was perfectly paced. Every single moment and flash back was so perfect and seemless. I felt in my very soul every emotion Clara felt, every new twist that was just around the corner. Honestly this story was one of the best written RH's I've read. Why? Because they had internal conflicts, actual relationship building, and a true emotional bond. And the sexy scenes where hot, hot ,hot. If I didn't like all the mushy stuff, I would still read it just for Those scenes alone. All in all, Mx.Rose is a wonderful author and thank you for gracing us with such a wonderful story.

THIS most definitely was one of the worst book I've read in a long LOOOONG time😑
(And I'm sorry to be this harsh because bashing ppl's work is so not something I enjoy doing but I simply can not put it any other way..)

From the get go, seeing the way the guys (that the heroine grew up with btw and supposedly trusted wholeheartedly) treated her honestly just made my blood pressure spike.. (from this point and just a few pages in, I should've known better and should've cut my losses but i didn't🤦‍♀️) just how were we supposed to find any redeeming quality to these guys after that first scene?! I have no idea.

The heroine wasn't much better herself tbh, she was being a complete mess most of the time (and showed, even years later, no self esteem whatsoever)

I again could have overlooked all of this if the last 30 to 20% of this book hadn't messed with the rest of the sanity i had left🙃
The unnecessary twists and completely out of the blue turns of events that took place by that point just felt like the author herself was over it and was going for a Telenovelas scenario instead.

Have I also mentioned the lack of trigger warnings in this? no? well..
I personally, would've GREATLY appreciated to have one beforehand and not just be forced to discover them on the spot😤

(Trigger warnings for ⚠️ Rape, Sickness of a loved one, Death of a loved one, Disability..)
I honestly could've lost a few others on the way because of how fast i was trying to wrap up this thing but yeah now you know and just be prepared for a lot of RANDOM and awful stuff to happen in this.

This is a unique Rockstar secret baby RH romance. The characters are well written but Everett stole the show, he was absolutely adorable. This is told with multiple POVs and at times overlap, but I do think the story benefits from it. I really enjoyed this angst, emotional rollercoaster of a story.

I would have had a lot more respect for the guys if they hadn’t treated her so horribly when they dumped her. I have trouble believing that they really loved her considering she was literally homeless for 6 months until Ava and Jared found her and thank god they helped her otherwise who knows where she would have ended up. Supposedly the guys had all looked for her individually but couldn’t find her, but come on all it takes is hiring one detective and it’s not like she was really hiding. I think she forgave them way too easily. And I hated how she seemed to forget about Jared at the end. And the ending sucked. In the last %20 of the book there is a kidnapping, car crash, miscarriage because of car crash, child blinded because of car crash, Jared dies because of car crash, and it’s revealed one of the guys is basically dying. The last part of the book didn’t mesh with the rest of it.

(Possible triggers- rape/child loss)

I really enjoyed this book.
The story line is so captivating. The entire story is a rollercoaster of emotions.
A girl and her rock band. They grow up together and build a relationship from a young age, only for that to be ripped away by the what if's that came with being a celebrity. Little did they know that decision would cha he their lives in more ways than one. When they are brought back together again by a twist of fate, their story is so much more complicated.

The only part I found confusing was the transition to Clover. I ended up re-reading leading up to that again to see if I missed something because it jumped from one scene to the next really quickly.

DNF @ 33%

First off, how the heck does this have so many 4/5 star reviews?? Even if we ignore the suffocatingly bad grammar, the writing is horrendous and the story subpar. The author doesn't pull you into the story at all, they TELL you what is happening....and none of it is interesting. Seriously. There are no logical transitions between scenes nor are there logical dialogue among the characters...I honestly have no idea what is even going on because none of what happens makes sense in the real world (or even in the fiction world).

The concept had potential, but this turned out to be utter crap.

Overall, the book could have been written better. The plot was great and pregnancy was different for common RH but the reuniting scenes and hooking back up with the River, Clover, Geddy and Vix. Clara is an awesome FMC but she needs more direction and Ava and Jared story could been more solider foundation. It was like he helps her out to her bought property for her business then get kidnapped and dies. I couldn’t figure out his main focus beside Bestfriends maybe lovers. But overall I give it a 4 for steamy but a 2 on the storyline.

Hmmmm

Ok so this story started off pretty good but somewhere a little over halfway through the book changed. It's almost like a different person wrote the last half of the book. It became sloppier and kind of thrown together. I'm not sure what happened but it was a noticeable difference so much so that i almost put it down before finishing. It gets 3 stars because I did finish it and the first half was good, plus I liked the very end if not in execution then in the idea behind it.

I don’t give out one star ratings very often. This book is not good starting on page one. I know this author is new to publishing, but she is in dire need of a line and content editor. I stopped at 25% because I couldn’t get further. If you have KU, go ahead and try it (page one will tell you everything you need to know), but I don’t suggest buying this book. I wish the author all the best on her future projects, but please, please, edit your books.

Everything but the kitchen sink

For as short as this book is, it covers a lot of territory. If the author was going for his many romance cliches, she could write in under 300 pages; she nailed it.

A Hot Mess

This cliche filled rock star RH does nothing for the genre. A contradiction throughout, the story comes off as scenes strewn together. But what really pissed me off was the lack of heartache Clara had learning of Everetts' condition.

I felt horrible for Clara. River was just a manipulative selfish narcissistic. I was disappointed the story skipped around so much it was difficult to read and have redeeming thoughts. I was left wandering about things.

Before I go deeper, my rating is between 3.5 - 4 stars.

I heard a lot about the book and saw it recommended in some of my book groups. I'm normally not a great contemporary reader. I read them, yes. But not so much, and often, than other genres. But this time I decided to read it, after I got it recommended again. The blurb sounded interesting, and it is RH, what is one of my most favorite book troupes.

And I didn't regret it. The story was good. I know of the problems, and some wouldn't agree with me. I admit there were grammar mistakes and even some confusing writing. But I am not the type of person, who only evaluate a book after misspellings or bad grammar. That isn't fair. Authors are humans, and humans making mistakes. You can't see all. The same goes for proofreading. For me it's ok, as long as I do understand what the story is about.

The most important part is the plot and the surroundings. And what the book makes me feel and if I enjoyed it. And that is the case. The plot wasn't bad. There were parts I liked less and didn't sum up for me. But the characters felt mostly authentic to me. I liked Clara. I liked the men, too. But I wished I had more insight of them and their past. The same goes for Ava and Jared. They are the best friends of the FMC. But we didn't see them a lot or know more about them. They seemed to be pleasant, but in the end it didn't matter much.

The story has a lot of twists and turns, that made it unexpected, but at the same time, some things were difficult to fit in the story. Like

But in the end, it was entertaining, and I felt the emotions behind. So, I enjoyed the book.

Lots of heart

I really enjoyed seeing these relationships blossom, both between Clara and the guys and them with Everett. It was precious and heartwarming all around.

The reason I gave this only 3 stars is for a couple of reasons that pulled me out of the story. First is I felt like we were trying to throw too many tropes and storylines into one book/story. Especially with a lot of of them being thrown at us in the last 30% of the book. It then made them feel rushed and not flushed out. I would’ve either dialed it back or split the book into a duet so they could really be flushed out.

The second reason is it felt like there were conversations missing or skipped but then characters would just know the information. You’d have one character thinking about needing a conversation with so and so, but in the next paragraph talking as though that person already knew and had that information. There were also important conversations that were needed to have that didn’t take place in page and instead the next paragraph would skip a week ahead so we missed that big punch to the gut coversation that would have really amped up the emotion in the book if we got to experience it with them. I noticed it more and more in the last half of the book.

The last thing is there was one scene that we saw from 4 different perspectives back to back. This grated on me a bit because I personally feel if we are to relive a scene in another perspective we should gain something from that new perspective, and with this one I don’t feel like we gained anything with it past the first two perspectives.

Overall I really enjoyed the characters and the heart of this book. I’m looking forward to where things go in the next book.

This book stayed with me long after I finished it. So I knew I had to come back and leave a review!

Clara is a great character who falls in love with her childhood best friends. The four boys, River, Geddy, Clover and Vix have formed a band and signed a record deal. River gives Clara an ultimatum to choose only one of them to be with or to they will all leave her. Unbeknownst to them, Clara was pregnant.

Five years down the line, Clara is a successful restaurant owner with a cute little boy called Everett. The band come and eat at her restaurant not realising Clara is the owner. The band realise one of them is Everett’s father.

River demands Clara tour and live with them for the next month or so. Everything is going well and Vlsra has reconnected emotionally and physically with the guys. An unfortunate incident occurs at a party involving River and Clara takes Everett and goes to leave. An accident occurs and Clara and Everett are both injured. It is while they are both recovering in hospital that we find out Clover is potentially dying from an autoimmune disease.

Cue to the epilogue and we find out how they are all doing one year later. Cue to the second epilogue and we find out how they are fourteen years later.

Heartbreaking, compelling, and intense! This is a rockstar RH unlike any I’ve ever read before and it is so good. Without giving any major plot away, the guys of Anarchy Black are sexy, but they are really going to piss you off (Thanks E.L.). You’ll immediately love the FMC, Clara, who has been through a lot at the hands of Rivers, Vix, Geddy and Clover, and it’s great to see her build her life up on her own terms. Honestly, you might be rooting against some of the things that happen throughout her journey with Anarchy Black, but that makes it even more interesting as their relationships unfold and outside factors come into play. Obviously there is some really steamy sex throughout, and you will probably need a cold shower after these guys show off their...strengths ;) And that ending! Let’s just say there were tears of multiple varieties and I loved it. Do yourself a favor and read this immediately!

I DNFed 😬

So I normally don't write reviews for books that I DNF right away. But I wanted to forwarn other readers going in. It starts with the guys callously kicking the FMC to the curb. She knows she's pregnant but doesn't tell them. 5 years later she has this successful restaurant that the guys get it to and low and behold it's her son's 5th birthday. They see him and are upset and the way one of the guys handled it was just so out of pocket especially how they discarded her for fame was just messed up. Saying he would sue her and get the media involved if she didn't drop everything she worked so hard for and uproot her child to go on tour. I can't get down with that. I would have probably continued to read if THEY dropped everything to get to know their son. But to threaten the mother of your child who they abandoned was just so messed up. And maybe the book gets better but that was triggering.

WOWWOWOW

This book is the definition of rollercoaster of emotions.

Clara has suffer a lot because of the guys and the when she thinks her life is normal she have to face them again.
And the crazy road of emotions begins.
For a moment I was mad then happy then mad again then crying then mad. It was a very crazy ride. But I loved it. I love when books makes me feel a lot of emotions at the same time.

God I wanted to slap Rivers so hard.

The guys have very different personalities and that complement each other. That helps them to have the perfect balance.

That last 30% of the book was crazy I was having a heart attack. I was like WTF why wow got me on the edge. But it was so good.

I can't wait to read the next generation book. 🖤

This is the first book I've read from this author and I'm so glad I have!

A rockstar reverse harem with plenty of angst, alphahole men and a secret that could make or break them ❤

I really enjoyed the storyline of this book, despite thinking that Rivers should of been wacked over the back of the head at times, the men kept me interested in learning more about each of them.
A bonus of MM action was perfect ❤

The twists and turns during the last quarter of the book I felt weren't needed and just bought more heartbreak than was needed, however I am glad that Clara got her happy ever after with all her men by the end.

I'm also hoping that ending means there is another book incoming 🤞🏻 I'd love to know more!

Rocking the Angst
Super yummy rockstar RH. Oh the angst and the spice in this one. After they break her heart, Clara is “forced” into reconnecting with her 4 rockers and I was so here for their journey. There were times I wanted to reach out and slap Rivers. I loved that Clara was able to be both strong and vulnerable. I also loved seeing the way she opened them up to each other as well. I am really hoping that we’ll get another book within this world with some of the characters we met. Please E.L. Rose. Feels like the groundwork is there ;)

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

So this book had me so emotional! At the beginning I felt as if Clara gave in a little to quickly but all in all it was a great book. A few times the writing got a little confusing and there are mistakes. Also a few twists that didn't need to be added closer to the end. It threw the story off a little since it wasn't mentioned earlier on.

The first half of the book was on point and then the second half seemed like someone new was writing it. Is this 2 authors or 1? It felt as if it was 2 people not one. The second half of book was thrown together and some of it didn't make any sense at all. I finished the book but struggled to do so.

I don’t know where to start…

The writing felt really basic and there was no world building at all. I had to re-read several pages because it felt like I had skipped parts in scenes.
For the worlds greatest rock stars the MMCs had very little personality
The FMC had no back bone at all. She puts up a paper thin fight and then caves on everything.
1) ‘no you can’t see your son, especially after you just threatened to have him taken off me’ - immediately drops everything a goes on tour
2) ‘I hate you, you betrayed me. Abandoned me. And called me a whore’ - immediately has sex with them

3.5 stars rounded up. I really enjoyed the beginning of this book. Then the story just started to move WAY to fast. Example she's pregnant again... but it's only been a few weeks there's no way she would know that soon. Then you throw in Clover and Geddy are suddenly all over each other. And then on top of all of that Clover is suddenly sick with some unknown illness. Now that being said I did really enjoy this book. I just feel it would have been better if it was spread out through a couple of books maybe a duet.
