Havoc and Darcy

Havoc is a member of the Savage Sons MC but is he hero material?! Darcy is in need of one about now.
Talk about twists and turns along with some crazy surprises which made it hard for me to put this book down. I can’t wait to see what comes next.

Amazing for new series

Havoc is a member of Savage Sons. He see’s Darcy in the bar. He thought she was beautiful and he watched other try to buy her a drink. He finally steps up and askes she to have a drink with him. Darcy had just found out her ex fiancé had gotten another woman pregnant what she didn’t know until the next day was that Her ex was actually the brother to Havoc. Once she went to stay with Havoc everything got better for them. Until one day he brought her to the club. She was so hurt that she ran out the door only to find her self in danger. Havoc was determined to save her. I can’t wait to see what is nect

After leaving her ex, she stops in a local bar for a drink and meets him. The handsome biker in the local MC, he steps in to help from some unwanted attention. They have an instant chemistry, but she is not interested in entanglements after the drama with her ex so she slips out of the bar not expecting to see him again. When her ex's drama comes to her door again, he saves her once again, this time by claiming her as his old lady. In order to stay safe she has to pretend with the biker bad boy, but the way he makes her panties melt doesn't feel like pretend at all. This is both a MC drama and a romance. They have a lot to navigate in both story arcs as the story unfolds. I loved both of the main characters. She is a spunky English girl who is a fighter and determined to reclaim her life. He is brave, protective and possessive of the girl he finds himself falling for. They have lots of chemistry and it comes out both in their teasing and their steam. He is sinful enough to make your knickers melt. There are a few inconsistencies, that interrupt flow. I expect that they are because of the language difference with a British background. The MC itself also seemed a little less structured at times than the usual stories in the genre, I am not sure if that because more info is expected to unfold with the series. I am looking forward to the next book. There were teasers in this book about another brother and his lost love, which seems like might be the next story.

My review is more of 3.5 but since the story line captivated me, I rounded up. I loved the premise of the story- alpha biker guy sees a tantalizing sassy woman, and just needs to have her. He is a dreamy delicious alpha type, rough around the edges, growling more often than not. She is a sweet almost too naive prim proper English girl who just happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Unknowingly gets involved with the most terrible person. She finds herself all caught up in the MC world, among other not so lawful rings, and more importantly she is inexplicably attracted to her ex-fiance's half-brother. There are some very interesting twists and turns that keep the reader glued. While Havoc is all sinfully yummy, with his brutish dominant streaks, she doesn't really do it for me when it comes to MC old lady material. I felt that while there were some sexy scenes that were steamy, I needed more storytelling to make them a saucy hot and heavy. Overall, I liked the book enough that I went and got book #2 which was recently released.

What I liked- I liked the whirlwind that was their relationship. Even though it was fast, it seemed just right. And the grandma was wonderful. Probably my favorite character.
What I didn’t- why on earth was she with the ex for two years in the first place? He seemed to have no redeeming qualities. This made the whole situation hit a sour note. It also doesn’t say much for the heroine.
Verdict- recommended. This book was entertaining enough to keep me reading and make me curious about the other characters. I’m interested in the next book in the series.

This was a great first book in this series. The characters have instant attraction to each other.
Darcie was just looking for a drink and walked into the headquarters of the Savage Souls Mc. What she didn’t know was that the guy that she was drinking with was her ex-fiancés half brother,Havoc.
Havoc was just sitting having a beer and enjoying it, when in walked his walking wet dream. He bought her drinks and then she disappeared, only to reappear the next day with his half-brother.
From there things get interesting and they dance around their feelings for each other. They give in to the attraction and are soon falling in love.
Their journey is rough and dangerous, but worth it when it all comes down to it.

These characters complemented each other. Their story is full of love, romance, emotion...a beautiful relationship. Their story is also suspenseful. Do yourself a favor and pick up this first book in the series. I highly recommend this well-written story. It was a real treat. I look forward to continuing on with book two, Cyber.

Havoc (Book 1 of Savage Sons) by Emma Mountford is a motorcycle romance. This is Darcie and Havoc’s story and the first in the Savage Son Series. It is a typical MC book which I typically find enjoyable. There is action, spicy romance, betrayal, and rough men.
Darcie is betrayed by her ex in a terrible way. She later meets Havoc in a bar and they proceed to mingle. Of course she at some point has a run in with her ex and everything goes down hill. The question is can Havoc save it all and her.
I enjoyed this book and hope to read more of the series.

This is an amazing first book in the new Savage Sons series by Emma.
This dirty (in the best possible way) romance story has you crossing your legs and begging for more, from beginning to end.
Havoc and Darcie deliver a fantastic MC romance with a happily ever after your not sure is going to arrive but you’re very glad it does. It easy to fall in love with Darcie and yearn for Havoc and his club brothers.
I’m so excited for the next book in the series already!!

My first Emma Mountford read and I could not be happier that I started with this MC series, Savage Sons. Havoc and Darcy's story is engaging. These characters complemented each other. Their story is full of love, romance, emotion...a beautiful relationship. Their story is also suspenseful. Do yourself a favor and pick up this first book in the series. I highly recommend this well-written story. It was a real treat. I look forward to continuing on with book two, Cyber.

Havoc is a gritty, intense story with everything needed to keep it's readers on edge. There's plenty of drama, intrigue, betrayal, twists and turns all geared to make this story consuming. Havoc and Darci are perfect for each other and the chemistry is smokin hot! Wandering into a Biker bar, the last thing Darci expects is to find her forever and her knight in sexy leather all in one. I can't wait for more from the Savage Sons!

Sweet MC love

This was my first read by Emma Mountford and while the premise of the story was good, it was not as gritty as I had been hoping.

Now don't let that take away from the sweet love story that was wrapped in the twists and turns. They fell hard and fast, at a time where the odds were not in their favor.

I really enjoyed this story, love an insta love and a hot and possessive alpha and a spunky and curvy heroine. This is the first in a MC series and it didn’t disappoint. Loved the characters and look forward to getting to know the rest of the characters more in the upcoming books. She left me wanting to read more.

Darcie is running from her loser ex when she meets biker Havoc. The Brit is a beauty and fiesty. Two thing that intrigue Havoc. When her ex winds up related to him, they are both shocked. Then he involves her in his troubles and Havoc knows he has to save her. This was a really good read.

Havoc was a good story with characters I wanted to get to know. Proof that fate knows who is good for you and try as you might, to avoid it and fight it, you can't stop it.

These two rode that rollercoaster like a Brahma bull and proof is in their story.

When Darci finds herself the target of the mob, Havoc places her under his protection. This is a great start to the series with plenty of romance, alpha swagger and suspense as they grow closer.

Read this on an arc and I loved it. It's a great start to a new MC series. Havoc is hot. Darcie definitely upgraded lol. You will get introduced to characters that you will want more of. I can't wait for the next one.
