SLIGHT SPOILERS ahead...
*deep inhale*
This book left me with mixed feelings- nearly all of them negative. Which is such maddening because I enjoyed the first book in this trilogy so much. The second book was nothing to write home about, so I deliberately refused to leave a review. Simply because I had nothing to say, or rather, I refused to say anything that the third installation would make me regret. Of course, I was under the assumption that the final book would give Victor such a grand redemption arc that ANY negative remarks I made about the second book would have me looking foolish. Well, I’ve finished the third book and unfortunately, Dawn, is not the only one who ended up looking foolish. That’s right. It’s me.
I’ll say this until my throat becomes hoarse and I lose my voice- I detest WEAK heroines! I don’t mean physical strength, I mean the “He-abused-me-for-10-bloody-years-and-made-me-not-get-the-degree-I-worked-so-hard-for-in-the-name-of-revenge-that-I’m-undeserving-of-but-he-took-me-to focking-hello-Kitty-Land-so-I-think-it’s-time-to-hand-him-my-cookie-and-put-all that-hurt-behind-us”
I’m sorry, but what in the bloody fuck? That’s it? That’s all he had to do to win you back? Mind you, you can’t get ANY of those 10 years back!! This man sexually humiliated you in front of some other man, exposing your body to this man in some show of dominance and ownership! He took away your freedom! He (despite me not liking your father) threatened your family! To top it off, he outed your mother’s addiction secret! All to hurt you! Oh yeah, and he kept you, PRISONER, for 10 BLOODY YEARS!!! On top of that, it was all unwarranted!! I don’t know about you, my lady bits would have been drier than the Sahara whenever I think of all the abuse I suffered the way Dawn did, but hey, there’s always Hello Kitty World!
I don’t ask for much, just a strong heroine that isn’t afraid to stand her ground and DESPITE attraction, is able to think with her head and not let her hormones take control of her. And don’t any of you dare blame pregnancy hormones. She wasn’t pregnant all 10 years.
It really pisses me off whenever the heroine is unable to think or do anything sensible whenever the H is involved. It’s suddenly like they’ve forgotten how to breathe. I mean, after the third date, she was already shagging him on his garage floor.
Can we get our h to have a little standard? 🗣🗣🗣 WE JUST WANT HER TO HAVE SOME SELF-RESPECT! Dassit! Even if she knew her endplay was to return to Victor, why not have him sweat and grovel his way back into your good graces? Because honey, it’s what SHOULD have happened. And her “best friend” is absolute rubbish! Dump her quickly Dawn.
This may be just my friends, but if I told them some Chinese mafia kidnapped me for 10 years, snatched my degree from my reach (bribing the professor so it would be shipped to her in the mail DOES NOT get you a pass), and threatened my family, you know what my friends would do? They would tell me to get the bloody hell away from this person and try to get restraining orders against him because they are sensible and have my best interest and safety at heart. You know what they would NOT do? Encourage me to get back with this man who caused me so much suffering I got PTSD!!!! (hence her nightmares at the beginning)
To add insult to injury, when he finally gives her his reason for UNJUSTLY punishing her the way he did that entire decade (yes, I have to remind you every time how long this went in for because it was not just a blink and time passed period, but a whole bloody DECADE!!!) it’s because his nanny betrayed him when he when 3 years old. Umm, excuse me? Your nanny betrayed you and that gives you the unmitigated right to punish Dawn?
I hated the ending to this book. Both characters were irredeemable and so toxic for each other! The best way to end this trilogy would honestly have them break up PERMANENTLY and co-parent. That would have been a great ending to this tumultuous relationship. If we can even call it that. Still, Dawn is blissful in her ignorance and Victor, his monologues never reflected his remorse or love for Dawn. And no, saying you’re sorry does not equate to remorse. You know what does? - changed behaviour! The entirety of Victor’s monologue was consumed by him thinking up how he’ll let Dawn think he was acquiescing to him giving her choices- which she clearly didn’t have. And how he couldn’t wait to replace her current phone with one he could monitor. Yeah, thanks, but no thanks!
Additionally, then I’m done, the introduction of all these new characters just threw me off.
It felt forced to set up the next series instalment, I believe and I just had ZERO interest in any of the other storylines. I may have skimmed through. Not may, I DEFINITELY skimmed through.
In closing: (TLDR)
1. Dawn- weak, pathetic heroine who probably slithers about her day due to her lack of backbone.
2. Victor- asshole, controlling character with no redeeming qualities or proper reason for doing what he did to Dawn
3. All other characters- boring and did nothing to advance the plot or make me interested in their upcoming spin-offs.
This book sucked and evoked STRONG feelings of disgust for every last character in me. Maybe that’s a testament to Theodora’s writing skills. However, I highly doubt she wanted to invoke feelings of loathing for her MCs. Who knows? I’ll give her writing another chance because I did very much enjoy the first book, hopefully, her other works don’t start out fantastic and end in a ditch!

STORY:
I ENJOYED this ride immensely. Book 3 had its negatives and positives, but found more positives. I can honestly say, I am glad that Dawn’s and Victor’s saga has come to an end.
The ending. I came too far with almost 27 hours of audio to get that abrupt ending. I just needed to see them finally happy with a scene with their baby. The epilogue feels like a little prologue of sorts to Han’s story with Jazz and that’s ok, however, that’s why I needed a little more with that final scene before the epilogue with Dawn and Victor.
With that being said, great storytelling and the incorporation of all these POVs from different characters that in some ways are connected to prior books or books to come. This is only my fourth book by the author, and I’m still a little wet behind the ears. However, from reading the blurbs from other books by the author, I can see how she cleverly weaves all these characters from other stories and connects them.
Victor and Dawn have come along way with each book giving us particular parts of their lives that are different but all having the same end goal. I have to say, seeing Victor go the manipulation route to get what he wanted was interesting. His desperation and love for Dawn, I think, is what drove me to finish this series. I enjoyed them coming full circle with the certain scenes and them doing something that reconnected them to their past as teenagers from book 1. Even if they were during forced dates.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY
Their sexual chemistry was ok for book 3. I believe their most intense sex scenes were from book 2 because of Victor’s resentment.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS:
So many characters and for me, that’s one reason that makes this book so engaging. Most of the characters I am seeing have their own stories and looking forward to reading them. Phantom and Han, yummy yummy yummy. Han’s story comes out today actually, and I hope that I will not be disappointed.
OVERALL:
I really enjoyed this trilogy, and I am glad it is OVER! The road was rocky, and I didn’t get the ending I liked, however; I am satisfied.

I.. Honestly I don't know what to write. I have been hyper for this book since I read the first book in the series. I held of on reading the second so I could binge them together.
Big mistake.
This book is terrible. Honestly what's with all the 5 star reviews?!
The heroine is weak. I can love angst, I'm a whore for it but the hero has to give good grovel. This hero made up for ruining her life and essentially holding her hostage for 10 years by taking her to hello kitty land.
.... Yeah, I wish I was joking.
His pov is constantly how he can get her back under his control again. He uses those exact words.
This isn't a love story. He hero keeps his engagement to another women as back up because "the dragon" , shouldn't feel anything.
I wish I could give this less than 1 star.
Save your time. Honestly.
I love the diversity of these books but I'm giving up with this author.

The first book was entertaining but this one reads like a manual on how to kill the reader's interest because I absolutely detested Dawn in this instalment.
I must say that Ms Taylor does her characters a disservice by depriving them of critical thinking skills. 10 years of her life in limbo and she does nothing to take back control but instead gets pregnant by the same guy she professes to hate?
And what's with all the random unnecessary characters? Sigh

Victor and Dawn are a footnote !
The epilogue doesn't put Victor and Dawn front and center, instead we're introduced to new and old couples talking about Victor and Dawn's Bumpy Road to Happily Ever After.
We don't get to experience Dawn's labor experience, nor Victor's reaction to their baby being born. Nor do we know the baby's name or what she looks like, or how much she weighed. What did Dawn's gown look like? How did she wear her hair? Who was her best person? Byron? Her Bridesmaid? or Her Matron of Honor? Did her father walk her down the aisle? Where was Dawn's mother? Dawn's Family completely disappears. Whom did Victor choose as his best man? Han? Phantom? or Both? or Neither?
There are too many unanswered questions to rate this higher. Plus, this story was doing too much with the inclusion of past couples and not enough at the same time with ALL the unanswered questions. Read it for yourself, your opinion may differ.
Recommended Read to conclude the series!
I will say that Amber almost stole this book, she was given some great lines to say that had me laughing out loud.

Terrible conclusion to an underwhelming story *spoilers*
So, I didn’t like part two. It clearly didn’t need to be there at all. It could have been apart of part one. But this finale? Why? Just why?
This random insertion of Hello Kitty Kawai girly Japanese fandom was weird and set a horrible tone for what I really wanted to be an endearing end. There was no resolution. The whole full circle climax did not circle and I get trying to tie in stories with these eggs, but let it go already because what a reader doesn’t want is for a tale like this to end with a retelling of a different character’s happy ending from a damn story that’s already been published just to set up a new novel.
I knew it would end this way and I’m slightly tickled that most of the part two reviews predicted it. Bought the company for her? Check. Simply says sorry and it’s all forgiven? Check.
This author seems to have run out of steam with her plot lines. Victor was her most interesting character and he was wasted. It’s a shame.

Alright I'm not going to lie at the conclusion of the second book I felt okay now what? How are these two going to get through this? Well of course I worried for nothing cause whose book is this? YEAH THATS RIGHT THEODORA TAYLOR. The road to Dawn and Victor happily ever after was delayed by interfering/controlling family, childhood trauma, a misunderstanding, and etc. Yet this couple found a way too quote Amber "So, some couples who are broken can be fixed. And you know, sometimes the mosaic you put back together ends up being better than the fragile piece of porcelain you had the first time around. You can't change the past, but the future that's up to the two of you". That's exactly what Theodora gave us in this story. Characters who were creating a new mosaic that grew to be stronger then their first time around. I loved the support this couple received from previous couples (Lena & Keanu and Amber & Luca) especially since the couples mention knew exactly how to turn mud into a lotus. I feel like I say this a lot about this author but hey what's one more time Mrs. Taylor Victor's story is some of your best work. This triad series was definitely worth the wait. Nexted up Han & Jasmine.

She lost some of my sympathy. Dawn sometimes still acts like a little girl and not like a woman. But I like the fact she stood her ground against Victor and grew a backbone.

Finally he fights for Dawn and does everything to win her back. He is still toxic but he is a yakuza boss, so what could you expect?

Yeah no… Like the first two books this one was entertaining and a quick read. But this was again exaggerated and not realistic at all. I know this is a mafia romance so it shouldn‘t be realistic but this was just hilarious on so many levels. Dawn again is so naive and takes Victor back after all he‘d done, I can‘t believe it. Their dynamic is toxic and I can’t get a grip on it. On one side I like them together because they remind me of themselves from the first book but on the other side they‘re adults now and honestly don’t act like it. I can‘t imagine them as parents, their poor future child.
Eitherway this was again a very entertaining book and I will definitely try other books by this author. It‘s nothing for people who expect a well written and well plotted book because this is just entertaining „trash“ (I don‘t want to sound mean, I really liked it! She lost some of my sympathy. Dawn sometimes still acts like a little girl and not like a woman. But I like the fact she stood her ground against Victor and grew a backbone.

Yeah no… Like the first two books this one was entertaining and a quick read. But this was again exaggerated and not realistic at all. I know this is a mafia romance so it shouldn‘t be realistic but this was just hilarious on so many levels. Dawn again is so naive and takes Victor back after all he‘d done, I can‘t believe it. Their dynamic is toxic and I can’t get a grip on it. On one side I like them together because they remind me of themselves from the first book but on the other side they‘re adults now and honestly don’t act like it. I can‘t imagine them as parents, their poor future child.
Eitherway this was again a very entertaining book and I will definitely try other books by this author. It‘s nothing for people who expect a well written and well plotted book because this is just entertaining „trash“ (I don‘t want to sound mean, I really liked it! Umm what happened?
The first book was absolute fire! I hated Victor by the second but was so hyped for the 3rd. Omg.. did someone else write this book? I felt it was rushed, too many unnecessary characters popping up. The showdown between Dawn and her father was anti-climatic. The author did not even address the fact her father knew where Dawn was the whole 10 years, the conversation he had with Victor at the awards ceremony didn’t even come up 🤦🏾♀️ The communication between Dawn and Victor was so childish, like just say what the h*** you want to say.. ughh they were doing too much but not enough. Hopefully Han and Phantoms story can redeem this series. If you haven’t read any other books by this author, (which I haven’t besides Victor) you will be totally confused by the random characters .. who are these people and what is the connection? We didn’t get to see the couples emotion of their baby’s birth or insight of the wedding . Just randoms , rambling at the end 🥴

Just Don't
I made it to 120!!! I was hoping that this would be better!!! I was rooting for this series to get better and make sense for the sorry second book!!I Ain't no saving this hot mess. Spoiler 10 years take marriage all these random people popping up in the book. Just don't. I can walk away from this frustrating author and series and not look back!!! I don't care if these Characters Crash and burn!!!! All they did was waste my time!! I had so much hope for this author

disappointing ending. how many times was "ruthless" shoehorned into the dialogue and descriptions?? the mains spent less and less time together as the series progressed.
and usually i dont mind the random povs of characters that were mentioned in passing or 2 books ago but i was confusion for good portion of book.
as we moved away from high school we moved away from the connection that would make this 10+ year saga worth it. and all the amber/luca could go i hate that couple.

I’m not quite sure how to rate this one. 3 stars? 3.5 stars ? 4?
After bingeing the first two books all of last night without sleeping, needless to say I was completely immersed in the story and universe. Going into this third book, my curiosity levels were high and I wanted to follow the thread until the end, no matter what.
I was particularly looking forward to reading about Victor’s three-date ploy. I expected a lot from that, while wondering how the dates would sustain an entire book.
Well, out of all three, this book was the most reliant on tropes and secondary plots to drive the story. I still found the elements I had enjoyed in previous books but I was a little disappointed to realize that the three-date storyline was only a thing in the first half of the book, and only marginally at that. The dates were at the same time spot on given the characters’ interests and history, and not enough. I don’t see how they drove them closer. The second half was more mafia-centered which upped the stakes but was fairly predictable.
This book is also when I realized that I don’t like Dawn much or care for her. The story is something I wanted to read about, but she wasn’t anymore. Was she ever? I’m not sure.
What was somewhat cute in the first book when she was a teenager didn’t age well. Maybe the events of the second book froze her growth and development, maybe I just couldn’t see her appeal.
I suppose the author must have been doing something right regardless because I felt like Victor deserved better than her, probably from book one. I won’t say that he fully redeemed himself (he was definitely trying). It’s possible that Dawn was so lackluster that he shone and showed depth and growth - if only in comparison.
I also wasn’t interested in Dawn’s secondary relationships. As far as secondary characters went, only the mafia men were intriguing but that only went so far. You could tell they would all be (or already were) tamed beasts who saw the light a woman brought into their lives or something like that. This made this epic story so much more generic in a way.
My last gripe is that I didn’t like the random chapters from other characters’ perspectives. They only served as appetizers for the author’s upcoming works and didn’t bring that much to the story itself. I really didn’t care for that. Similarly, perhaps if I had read her other series and had cared about those characters, I would’ve appreciated the Easter eggs and crossovers more. In a nutshell, even if I am intrigued by some backstories, like Amber and Luca’s, or was purposely left to wonder about Phantom’s fiancée, this felt like the literary equivalent of clickbait to me.
As a whole, I would recommend this trilogy. As a body of work, I’d give it 4 stars. It is entertaining and explores a lot of different plots. There is something in there for most readers and it is a proper escape from reality.
I wouldn’t mind reading more from this author in the future but I’m also in no rush to read Han’s or Phantom’s novel.

Ok so, I was excited for the conclusion of this book but quickly realised the main characters had not really changed or grown at all. The fact that Victor emotionally abused and manipulated Dawn for 10 whole years, and then redeemed himself with a trip to Hello Kitty land was a madness I was not expecting. Victor’s own emotional damage wasn’t fleshed out enough and I feel the opportunity for real redemption and growth of this character was missed. Similarly, Dawn remained spineless and easily won over despite the very real abuse she received, and there was a lot of infantilising of her character and sadly it seemed she hadn’t changed much from a teenage girl after 10 years of abuse from her pretend husband and emotional manipulation from her father. The author then introduces new characters and old ones which I feel is rather disingenuous as it seems like she’s doing this to flog her next books instead of just tying up lose ends of existing characters in the actual story you’re reading. This made the book confusing at times and I admit to skipping through a lot of chapters. When I finally reached the end I was slapped in the face by an ending told by characters from an existing book, and there was zero explanation as to how a heavily pregnant woman managed to disarm and kill a henchman (but we had whole chapters dedicated to new characters). There was a cringe-worthy scene where mob bosses danced and serenaded the female lead to Justin Beiber that was so unbelievable I skim read in embarrassment.
Whilst I understand the need to tie in characters from a world created by the author, it is very confusing to suddenly be presented with new characters you’ve never met or old characters you’ve forgotten that don’t need to be included as part of the story and add no real value, why were they given whole chapters? I’ve read some great books from this author, but this particular issue seems to appear in more and more of her books. Additionally, I’ve begun to question the handling of race in this authors books. There was a scene where we meet an adopted daughter of a character from another book (I was so confused at this point) also mixed-race who questions whether all mixed women are nice. Again, I was confused because there was no real reason for this to be included.
In conclusion, this story could have been condensed and concluded in book 2 if new characters and old were given less focus. I’ve very much enjoyed this authors books, and these particular characters were so interesting in books 1 and 2, it’s just a shame the opportunity to delve into their growth, maturity, reconciliation and real adult redemption was missed for the introduction of new characters or those we’d read about five books before. I hope future books by this author are able to properly focus on the two main characters of the story and that the ending is properly finished as opposed to a plug for the next one.

OMG... this series had me all in my feelings. As ruthless as Victor is, my heart broke for the monster who was just a broken soul. The final book in the trilogy answers all of the questions of why he is how he is and as usual Ms. Taylor does it in such a way that you can't help but love even a monster. Can't wait for Han's story!

Personally, I've waited a couple of years for this story from Ms Taylor about Dawn and Victor, first mentioned in Amber and Luca's story. Ms Taylor did not disappoint, she nailed it! A fantastic conclusion to the trilogy of Dawn and Victor's teenage love to adulthood. Pit falls and all. Great story. Han and Phantom are to come! YES!

I just didn't care for this series at all. Doesn't read like Ms Taylor even wrote it. Too many different characters popping in and out for me to keep up with. My least favorite of all the books I have read that she has written.

I pretty much agree, 1000% percent with the other 1 and 2 star reviews. You hit the nail on the head, ladies. Nevertheless, there are a few things I detest in books I read, but particularly in this one:
1. Stories within stories when the side stories have nothing to do with the main story. But more than that, chapters being dedicated to side characters that have nothing at all to do with the present arc. Why, Theodora would you waste people's time like that? I was completely thrown off by the introduction of what I've come to discover were prior characters and new characters when I was here specifically to see if there was any way she could redeem Victor. | Expectations were dumb low, just fyi |
2. Weak heroines who cannot control their p*ssy. Dawn was essentially the kid who gets lured away by the predator at the promise of petting their puppy that's in their van. She simply made it too easy for Victor to earn her love and regain access to her cookies. Everything about their relationship and how it was carried out, and ultimately resolved, just left such a sour feeling in my stomach. Imagine any woman (Amber) advocating her friend (Dawn) who's been abused for 10+ years to give her abuser another chance, because you can reshape the broken pieces of your relationship into something more beautiful. Guard! Someone needs to go to JAIL!
3. Theodora has this...annoying habit of writing epilogues from other characters POV and thus uses it as a way to shamefully plug the next book or set of books in her ongoing or upcoming series. Like, you've held me captive for x amount of pages, and instead of letting me know how the characters' feelings to those loose ends being tied up, or those dots connecting, nah - I gotta be in the head of people I've never met before who are loosely connected to the couple I've just suffered through ridiculous tropes for? REFUND!
So in conclusion, I guess I only have myself to blame for continuing on with this writer's work. I'll admit that the first book in this series was interesting. The second pretty much went the route I expected, and the final, total train wreck because there were some major human rights violations happening, but no biggie. It's fine because there's babies and weddings in the end. This is not the message anyone should be sending, yet here we are.

Theodora Taylor is amazing! Another great series from an author who just gets better and better. I love how she has characters who face real challenges that they have to deal with. Not all sugar and rainbows. It makes for a much richer and meaningful love story. Can’t wait to read Han and Phantom’s stories!

OK, so I’ve been holding onto this for a while.
I really love the first book. I love Dawn and I love Victor and I love them together. I understood why the second book started off the way it did. I really didn’t expect Victor’s punishment to last the whole 10 years and was disappointed when it did. I think that despite the ups and downs of the second book, Victor really ended up in a place where there wasn’t any good and believable path to redemption.
The third book, in my mind, reinforces that thought. He really isn’t redeemed. He does things to make her happy but not necessarily prove that he’s changed and he repeatedly thinks things to himself about how he’s going to make her think he’s changed but he’s not.
Another thing that bothered me about the this third book is all of the extraneous characters. I understand that a lot of the authors books are set in the same universe and crossover a decent amount. But in this instance I felt felt that half of this book wasn’t really about our main characters. I found that disappointing especially in the epilogue where the main characters are really background characters. Another reviewer mentioned how she wanted all the details about their wedding and I really didn’t care too much about stuff like that but I would’ve enjoyed hearing a little about Dawn and Victor and their baby as a family and things like that.
I also want to say that I think that Dawn’s dad, Darrell, got off way too easy. I don’t mean that he needed to die but he just was sort of slapped on the wrist and shoved out the door and to be honest with you I think that Dawn’s father was probably one of the most evil people in the whole story because how he used Dawn.
Really, I feel that Dawn and Victor’s story could’ve been two books and it would’ve been better had her ten year punishment been ended sooner and things not been so convoluted. I really think that the author dug her self a hole with where she took Victor’s evilness and in all honesty there was no way out.

I choose you. “Thanks for doing my job for me! Good looking out.” Dawn doesn’t know if she can trust Victor. With everything he put her through, she’s not sure, until he opens up and tells her his deep childhood secret turned nightmare since she left him. He has to convince her to come back to him. He could not live without her. He slowly chips away at that protective wall she’s built up. But Victor has an unforgiving cruel enemy. Who’s just as determined to take revenge on Victor as Victor is in protecting Dawn and their unborn daughter. It's, amazing how karma turns around and bites one in the butt. Kuang, the 24k Dragon, and Darrell found that out what "just deserts" taste like.
I had to reach back in my memory banks to remember some of the characters from previous books. I wished Theodora could have done a little more of a reminder of who they were for the reader’s sake. It was a little confusing to me. Despite that, it was great to see how all of the gangsters tie into each other.
In the end, Dawn and Victor chose each other. “Operation Good As New 3.0” was a complete success.

This is book 3 the Ruthless Triad series, but the final book about Victor and Dawn and what a ending it was. I have to say I have read all the Theodora's books and Victor in one of favorite men. He is silent but you will hear what he has to say in everyway. I love how Victor will do anything to have Dawn back in his life, but Dawn does all she can to fight the love she has for Victor since she was 18. The question is will love conquer all or is love just not enough?? You will have to read and find out!

Great Ending!
I read some of the negative reviews on this book and almost didn't read it. I couldn't understand why it got some two's but I guess it's your own opinion. Then they question how others could give it a five star review, like I said that others opinions. I am one of those person who think this was an great read but it is my opinion and I would recommend you will get to see most of MS. Taylor other characters. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

3.5 star.
I felt after all that has gone down with Victor and Dawn. We would have had a better ending than we did. We know they eventually lived happily ever after, however we didn't get to see how it was transpired. She went into labor after being kidnapped, and then we had another couple. Explain how Victor, Dawn, and the baby was dancing at their wedding. However, at the same time. I did enjoy catching up with previous couples. Over all the series was pretty good.

I really loved the conclusion and this entire story (trilogy) of Victor and Dawn's love story. I read this in one day! I could not put it down! My kindle is on fire! Anyway, I cannot wait until Han's story comes out next month. Looking forward to it. I also hope that Ms. Taylor continues to place characters from other books in the stories as well. I enjoyed it thoroughly!

This is the worst book I’ve read by Taylor. I have read all of their other books and I have thoroughly enjoyed majority of them. This trilogy started off so strong, with Victor being my favourite hero to date but it just got worse with each book. The endless Easter eggs are becoming very annoying and old. I would like to read a book that doesn’t refer to random couples from previous books and makes up tenuous connections between them. Dawn was just a child in an adults body. As much as I love cute animated characters, it felt very silly reading about a 32 year old woman carrying around a cartoon bag and forgiving and abuser because he took her to Hello Kitty world.
This leaves a lot of unanswered questions; did Victor become more controlling after the kidnapping attempt? Where did dawn get the gun? Was Yaron in on the kidnapping?
I have enjoyed so many of the authors previous books but the Easter eggs are becoming overbearing. It’s hard to enjoy the current story as it plays out

What A Series
I have been a fan of Theodora for years. I have enjoyed this story; the suspense, the intrigue, the drama and the steamy sex scences.
The only downfall for me was the ending. I didn't like who told the story at the end.

Wow!!
What a ending....I'm glad they got their HEA. After all they went through, they deserved it. But I'd have loved to have found out exactly how the fight scene played out in the end. I hope there's some " catch up " the the remaining books
