German. Not nearly as captivating as Das Eiwunder (which is awesome!!), despite having the same team behind it. Illustrations notably weaker (surprised to see it was also Andreas Német's work), though some of the moving parts are more impressive (spinning sun's rays, blooming branches, etc.). I can't really recommend it unless you have some sort of obsession with apples... or maybe you operate a cidery and want something for your younger visitors, though they'd likely destroy this if left to their own devices.
