I thought I’d already seen the worst of Knight’s Creek, but I was wrong. This toxic town just became much more tainted.
There is nothing worse than having a joyous bombshell dropped in my lap with the goal of knocking me down. And I hate to admit the truth, but it might be working.
I can’t stand being here anymore, but any attempts to run are ruined as I’m forced further into the newly created mold that is Asheville High’s whore.
I’m right where they want me to be. The pain, the taunts, their failed attempts to break me don’t stop my irrational need for them. I guess I must be broken, just not in the way they want.
I’m ready for whatever this town and the Allstars have to throw at me. There is no room in my life for any more secrets or surprises, right?
My father taught me to be resilient, fierce. They haven’t seen anything yet.
4.5 stars THIS SERIES KEEPS ON GETTING BETTER AND BETTER!!! WOW, WHAT A RUSH! When I say, I DEVOURED this book..... Just when you think Toxic Creek couldn't be topped in the level of DRAMA, Tainted Creek get's gifted to us. The progression of the many types of relationships Eden solidified in this book was just too good. I liked that she had an older sister/best friend in Bethany. And let's not get started on Cody. My heart melted every time I read a scene with him in it. ESPECIALLY, on Eden's birthday upon receiving a very special drawing from him :) I sincerely hope to see more of him in the next book. A round of applause needs to be given to none other than Ryan and Bethany. They were super supportive of Eden in this book; it was extremely wholesome to read about.
The Allstars.... Need I mention anything else? I loved that we got to see some grovelling from them in penance for their actions in Toxic Creek. There were times in the book where I just wanted to reach in and shake the hell out of them *ahem Xavier ahem* BUT, I truly appreciated the vulnerable side they showcased in this book. When they each confided in Eden, my heart broke for what they had to deal with growing up. Sidenote, the team's introduction on the playing field was gold. Each of the Allstars doing their own thing when being called upon was HILARIOUS!
TWIN REUNION.... This whole part of the series sheds light on Eden's dark life. I LOVE seeing her have some familial relation still alive. Archie is an amazing twin, and it's evident in his gift to Eden. That chapter in its entirety was perfect.
Concluding my opinions, I feel I must rant about the last chapter and the epilogue. I had to go back and reread that section because I just could not comprehend what was happening. When I saw that we have to wait till September to read the next book, set me on edge. I can't wait to see what happens to Eden and her guys in the next book. KC Kean, you have once again created an amazing series!!!!
If you thought that you would get some semblance of answers about all the random shit people kept silent about well, this book provides nothing. Absolutely nothing! You learn nothing new here. Just more of Eden going back and forth with the guys and the guys (mostly Xavier) finally getting their heads out of their asses.
The author's need to keep this *huge secret* about the what's and the why's is honestly getting on my nerves. I was right along with Eden wondering what the hell was going on with the plotline. The secrets were cute in book 1, but extending it to book 3 is just too much.
If I see another nickname like Eden's numerous nicknames; Cookie and Bubble (because of the heroine's bubble butt), I'll go mad. Also why are her nicknames bigger than her actual name?! 🤦🏾♀️
Imagine being so pissed that you read for the sake of finishing a book and not to find out more about the story. Disappointing.
The second book picks up 3 days later after the ending of “Toxic Creek.” Eden finds herself more lost and confused after the revelation that she has a twin brother, Archie. But how? Are her parents who they say they are now? How did they separate to begin with?
There are so many conflicting emotions running amuck in this second book. I just can’t stop reading it. I’m completely enthralled and engrossed in this storyline and can’t wait to get the answers everyone is attempting to get at.
KC Keane definitely keeps the reader on their toes. Such an extraordinary story. My one and only complaint is it left me wanting more of the series! A highly recommended read. If you like steamy, bully stories then this book is for you!
I'm a little bit speechless, which is very unlike me 😅 it is absolutely brilliant!! This book gave me ALL of the feels 💖🥵💔😮🤯.... Eden goes on one hell of a rollercoaster in this book. The way the author makes us dislike the boys one minute... like, I went into this book hating everyone and I was plotting my own revenge on behalf of our girl 👊🏼... BUT, not surprisingly. I'm loving the guys more than ever. For real, I absoloutley adore all 3 of them. My heart feels full 💓 these boys melted my heart throughout. Hunter has always been my No.1 and still is but the other two aren't far behind. The declarations. The heartache. Their pasts. I feel well and truly drained! In a good way! The two bombshells at the end 😮😩... I couldn't call how this was going to end, I wasn't naive enough to believe it would be a HEA... but I didn't see either outcomes!!! It's not just the main characters I love. I'm obsessed with Archie, Bethany, Ryan and all the others. This town might be Toxic, Tainted & Twisted but I'm HOOKED!! So excited for September for the next book!!! 🙌🏼😁🔥
Wow, what a ride of a book! I loved seeing a different and more vulnerable side to the Allstars. Eden is such a strong and independent character, it’s so refreshing! Can we talk about the ending? What was that?! 🤯 I think the next book is going to be hard on the Allstar boys, especially on Tobias, but I’m so ready for some answers👀.
Holy wow. I did not see that ending coming but still WOW. How?! Whuteven. I still can't believe this. I hope that in the next book lots of people will die. Painfully. Eden has been through so so much, and still she is standing and fighting. Not taking sh**. She is so so strong. She is.getting kick from left and right. Not knowing who to trust and what to believe. She is more lost then ever. But with the help of the few she does trust, more and more secrets come to light.
Whaaaaaaaat 😱😱😱 What the whatey what OMG. I need a minute or five (thank you, Eden)
Picks up from where the last book left off. So many lies, secrets, corruption, and hidden damage in this toxic town with abusive megalomaniacs. We learn a few more things and add a hundred new questions. I'm loving the mystery and intrigue as well as seeing the growth and development of the characters. All have changed since Eden came to this town, including Eden herself, and I have a feeling that they will be tested further only to come out stronger, together.
I love Eden's inner strength and fortitude, her unwillingness to compromise herself, and her moments of weakness and vulnerability. And as much as she wants to be the strong, independent woman who stands in her own, she acknowledges her own stubbornness and lets herself accept the support of others, when she trusts them - - which is huge for me. I get so annoyed when the FMC is too stubborn for her own good or insists on doing everything alone.
I was so pissed at the Allstars in the last book, but I have got to say that they have won me over now and have stolen my heart - even Xavier. I can't spell out why without spoilers. I'll just say that I love seeing his growth journey. It's not a 180. He gets there in his own way, and it feels like a perfect complement to Eden. I love how each H is unique to them; they have different personalities, strengths, and vulnerabilities and connect with Eden in their own way, while figuring out this new dynamic of their inner circle.
I love that additional characters have been written in to offer healthy, supportive relationships to the FMC outside of the love interests. Now my fingers are crossed that these besties can be in the presence of PDA and act with maturity *cough* Red *cough*
A decent second book of the series but I had some issues…
First, the length. It’s so much shorter than the first and it kills me when the middle book of a trilogy is short (less than 300 pages). Second books can be make it or break it for a series and I feel they should never be lacking in length!
Second, Eden gave into the Allstars way to fast. They went from outing a huge secret about her life in front of everyone, to being so in love with her that it gave me whiplash. Even Xavier changed his tune very quickly. I wish we would have had more angst and lead up to them working things (mostly) out
Third, the girl drama. Why are Roxy and KitKat so obsessed with getting at eden? The theory is obviously xaviers mom has put them up to it but why? It seems so pointless when someone is stalking her at the same time. There are too many levels of attackers coming at Eden that I cant take them all seriously.
Fourth, Eden is strong willed and set in not letting this town break her but every time something happens, she runs away. She stands up for herself in the moment but then runs. It doesn’t quite match up for me.
And lastly, the ENDING! ugh. I hate the oops pregnancy storyline especially when she says MULTIPLE times that she has the implant. What’s the explanation for this? Did it stop working? Did those herb pills mess it up? They guys are naturally going to freak out and probably try and say that Eden lied about the BC and did it on purpose and I’m going to roll my eyes the entire time.
…if they get out of jail that is…
Book 3 is out in September and I’ll read it but my hopes aren’t high…

𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐘𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐙𝐄𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐒. KC Kean has actually friggin ACED yet another breathtaking series.
Eden and the all-stars are just utterly mesmerising, the danger, torment, heartache, love and passion that we've seen is one helluva book.
The final instalment of this book well 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐘𝐌𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐎𝐅𝐃𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒. There is some brutal truths and heart wrenching moments but for me the strength Eden shows is badass.
Now can we appreciate Ryan & Bethany for a moment. These two characters are instrumental in this series and i am sooooo excited for their book that's coming. I have questions that need answering. Add in the suprise drop in guest at the end and gahhhhhh i am in need of more.
Book: Tainted Creek Author: KC Kean Recommend: Yes Spice: 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️ Age recommendation: 16-30+ Years
Plot: Eden has some drama to work though after discovering that Archie is her twin brother, and to also try to gets some answers about her lineage. She goes to her best finds birthday party and has a conversation with her grandma who tells her that Archies “mum” was the one who carried the babies and that Edens “dad” was the father. She gets horribly drunk and ends up on the beach, where she nearly drowns. Hunter saves her and take her back to the Allstars place where he takes care of her. Eden and the Allstar boys work out here drama from the previous book. Xavier has to grovel to make up for what he did to Eden, Tobias and Hunter manage to explain to her that they are all in with her as well. Eden has na major car accident which the boys manage to save her from, and Hunters sisters husband Ryan helps out with disposing the bodies of the other car. Eden becomes really close with Beth and Ryan. This book ends with Xavier having to chose to pick her or his mother. He choses eden so his mother have him and the others arrested and thrown in juvie, just when she find out she is pregnant to them. But doesn’t have the chance to tell them.
My feelings:
Ohhhhhhh Cliffhanger!!!! Thank gosh I read this as a series and im not left hanging to long!
“I want to ride with her,” I blurt out, and Ryan instantly shakes his head. “You can come back to our house with us, but you fuckers are going to explain to me what you said this afternoon that made her decide she needed to run.”
I knew she would be preg soon, that was clearly gonna happen! We only knew about the one period, so it was clear it wad gonna happen. I wonder how the boy are gonna be when they find out.
I knew hunter was gonna be the crazy one int he bedroom! Called it! And he is my fav for sure! His spice chapters were just perfect!
’Holy fucking shit. I’ve died and gone to big dick heaven.’
Tobis, is sooooooo sweet, he has t be the funny clown one of the group that manages to raise the rest of them up without meaning to.
Xavier, thank god he finally stopped his shit and told his mum! Thank god he pushed back. Its clear that it isn’t gone end well for them now but hank god he did it.! I love that he cannot get past his own head. He was so badly brain washed by his mum that if he did it to quickly it would have seems unbelievable.
“You’re your own woman. You’re in charge, blah, blah, blah. But you can do all that as mine.” His eyes search mine, and I frown as he waits expectantly. “Say it, Nafas,” he murmurs,
Highly recommend anything by KC Kean, she is the queen of Reverse Harems!
“I’d give it all up for you, Nafas. All of it,” he whispers in response, and I sigh.

KC Kean never disappoints me in her books - each one gets better! ..... “𝘉𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬 𝘮𝘦. 𝘉𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬 𝘶𝘴. 𝘞𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘵. 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘰𝘺𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘺 𝘸𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳. Whew, after that cliffhanger from Toxic Creek all of the guys in Eden's life have some groveling & explaining to do! The threats against her are no joke with the stakes being upped each time she find out something more about her own past and the role that people have played as a part of it. I love the role that Bethany & her family play for Eden - the best support system that isn't afraid to put the Allstars in their place even if the rest of the town is. The drama, steam, and toxic levels in Knights Creek are heating up more than ever! 🔥 ..... "𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 𝘸𝘦’𝘳𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳, 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳’𝘴 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘴 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘥𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘣𝘳𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘯." ..... While Eden has learned to trust no one, she also recognizes her worth and isn't one to forgive or forget easily. Xavier, Hunter, and Tobias slowly prove themselves to be taken at their word - whatever it may be - and it seems the RH(ship) is in full effect by the end of this one BUT of course that's not the end for the Allstars. Some more bombs are dropped at the last minute that have me wondering which direction Twisted Creek will go for the conclusion, but KC hasn't led us wrong yet 😉
I loved this book, it was a total emotional roller coaster ride for me - At times I honestly had tears of sadness, then I was laughing my but off the next chapter.. oh and add a little bit of cringing - those girls Pinky and Perky need a real good slap. I love KC Kean’s writing style, it's so fluid and detailed. I love the way she uses the characters inner monologue throughout and those steamy scenes are off the charts - wow! I have to mention the Allstars, it was great to get to see some of their ‘real ness’ and vulnerability in this book. Eden - what can I say about this strong, independent and fantastic character, other then she is now equal to Luna (Featherstone Academy) as my fav book character of all time. Lastly, I loved having Bethany, Ryan and Cody more throughout this storyline - it was perfect. Thanks KC Kean for yet another fantastic book, but that cliff hanger ending was a real ‘B word’ … can’t wait for Twisted Creek ! (Also the afterword had me laughing and totally agreeing with it🤣)
Tainted Creek is the follow up to Toxic Creek and this baby is explosive! Eden is still a baddie that gives zero f’s what anyone thinks. She looks them dead in their face head held high gives as good as she gets and keeps it pushin!
We get to see The Allstars in a new light as well and I am here for it. Don’t worry we still get that Alpha-hole attitude but with a softer side and it was fantastic. Let’s not forget the groveling these Allstars had a whole lot of making up to do and I loved watching Eden give them hell! Also them spicy scenes holy hotness hold onto your panties ladies it’s about to get wild AF!
Not everything is smooth sailing to say the least but we did get some answers but we were also left with a whole lot more questions. KC Kean!!!!! How you just gonna do me like that with that ending seriously!! You ma’am and the queen of cliff hangers and epic book hang overs! That shit had me screaming and cursing you out and now I have to wait for Twisted Creek!
Omg!! Where do I begin? The minute you think your prepared for this second book in the series it completely knocks you for a loop. This book was amazing, emotional, sexy, fierce and down right feral at times. But I swear to you it is all worth the emotional ups and downs. This book has everything you can ever want and will leave you on the edge of your seat. It captures you from the very beginning, drawing you in for all the answers and sexiness that you seek. That ending though....Holy amazeballs was that epic!! I don't know if I want to cuss, scream, or cry. But I know it will just make the anticipation of the next book all that more worth it. Truly awesome and I definitely highly recommend it!!! If you have not read the first book, I mean what the heck are you waiting for?? Get it now!!
Tainted Creek is here!! Book two in the Allstar series and I was so ready to be back with Eden and the boys!
Coming off that book one cliffhanger was rough, and as expected, every guy in Eden’s life had some serious groveling to do. And boy do these boy do it well! Xavier, Hunter, Tobias … to quote the lovely LouLou - “Holy motherf*cking sh*t tits. They are some damn fine men!” RH in full effect, with steam set on highly and one 🔥🔥🔥group scene 🥵
While book one felt unraveling, book two finally felt like things were building back up. That’s not to say the drama and threats are gone - no ma’am, those are no joke! But gang was getting back together, united against their common enemy…
Until that ending! That 💣… thanks for that KC!! Safe to say I’ll be counting down the days until September - bring on the revenge!!!
Book 2 just surpassed book 1. I loved the tension, the twists, especially the aftermath of the twist from book one. Steam and romance has definitely increased as an added bonus. However, I absolutely love the how the mystery is becoming deeper and different layers are very, very slowly being revealed.
I really enjoy these characters because they are all so different from one another. Together they just make sense. Again, I want to complement the author on her riveting side characters because I want to know as much about them as I do with the main characters.
The ending of this book was a bit more of a cliffhanger whereas the first book was more of a big twist. I think both were done very well and both had/have me excited for the next book. Book 3 is going to be explosive.
OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD I JUST CANT NOT STOP! I need to know WHY?! What do you want Ilana! I have this theory about Ilana and the Grady's but damn I am soooooooo ANGRY I just want to kick Ilana's ass!
Xavier pissed me off lowkey too like make up your mind sir!!! What do you want?! I do love Eden this book here was just freaking emotional. I just wanna shed a tear for her and its just livid AF. I like Tobias, but lets be freaking for real HUNTER is the Champion of this series! I love him and I WILL MARRY HIM! Book husband for real! - > A MAN THAT TAKES CARE OF YOU DURING YOUR PERIOD Automatic! YES for me!
I do love this series and ahh the groveling!!! AND here I am moving on to the next book!
Tainted Creek is book 2 and picks up just after that revelation (I won't say what it is though). This book was intense, full of conflicting emotions and three guys trying to get back in to Edens good graces. By the time i finished I was left with more questions I need answers to. Tobias and Hunter still remain my favourites and Xavier is getting there slowly. I loved how all three started to open up to Eden about their pasts showing her their vulnerable sides but only for her, to the rest of the town they're very ruthless. Even though I figured out what was going to happen at the end it in no way lessens my excitement for the final book.
So much happened and so much is left unsaid. That ending, why, oh why?? I love these four together. Eden, Xavier, Tobias and Hunter are everything. They are fun, they are crazy, they are intense and they are amazing. I love Archie and Charlie! I hope they get their own book. I loved this book so much. I mean it when I say so much happened in this book and there is so many questions left that need to be answered. This is a must read!!! A must devour!
Instantly thrown back into the drama of 𝐊𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭’𝐬 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐤 and hot damn it has you turning the pages quicker than you can read. The epic twists, turns badassary, sauciness and sass will leave you desperate for me!
I absolutely have had my heart pulled in every different direction, my love for Tobias and Hunter is unfrigginreal but Xavier has really shown his colours and 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐲𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐠𝐨𝐝 if it doesn't leave you lusting i never know what would.
There undeniable sexiness and passion will leave you needing a cool shower forsure!
Add in the heartwrenching moments she shares with Archie which shattered my friggin heart. This one helluva a book and THAT ENDING is friggin lethal. I need answers pronto.
All hail queen kc kean! Roll on book 3 in this incredible series.
Book 2 picks up right where the cliffy left us in the first book. Fallout from the secret about her family is being felt with all. More drama and secrets unveiled. A deeper connection between Eden and the guys are forming. I love the multi POVs. A fun RH read! Looking forward to the next
I kinda expected the mystery to progress along with the relationships but we still haven’t seen Eden encounter Ilana, who is sending her threatening texts, why her family was driven out from Knights Creek etc.
The further into the series I get the more I’m in love. Eden and the guys have so much more to overcome and a million more secrets to find out about but I’m ready for more
Hands down amazing. Book one was incredible and this just blew it our of the water. I need more. I can't imagine what's in store for book 3 but I'm here for it.
