"Your love will be my cure. But my love will be your curse."
The eighteen-year-old Gracie Kim, the sole heiress of The Kim conglomerate, meets a five-hundred-year-old vampire, Rylan Tanner while studying in The United States. They think their relationship is developing way too fast, starting from strangers to significant others. However, there is one oblivious fact. They are not strangers.
Although their relationship triggers many dangers, both refuse to leave each other's side and promise to use the power of their love to overcome anything that tries to come between them, even if it is death itself.
However, what happens when Marcus, Rylan's sworn enemy and Gracie's soulmate appears? Who will Gracie choose? What will be the end of the love story between two powerful vampires and a human?
The Vampire's Mate is one of those stories you read in one (okay, in my case, two sittings) and you enjoy it in the stolen moments between life going on all around you, and you- constantly trying to escape it, so that you can finish the story.
It was a great pleasure for me to dive into the characters' world and I'm definitely looking forward to reading more from the Author.
Vampire's Mate is not just a bout a good old human-vampire love story, but it's also about the love bond between families and friends. It's not only about revenge and hatred, but also about forgiveness.
What I love most about the book is how the story is told, the character development, the writing style, the plot, the unexpected plot twist, the cliffhangers, and of course the happy ending. The book is packed with chapters that make you laugh at the characters' jokes, mad at their cruelty, and perhaps even cry because of their sacrifices and suffering.
The story itself is so intriguing that you will keep on reading from one page to the next without wanting to let go, until you're probably done reading the entire book. The author did a great job at explaining the mysteries as the story goes. Every single question will not be left unanswered at the end, which made me really satisfied for that matter. All in all, it's one of my favourite books so far, and I've enjoyed reading it a lot this summer. Totally recommend this if you enjoy a good reading of new adult and paranormal romance genre.

1. Reader one: Hey, just finished this story. Thanks for sharing. Some stories remind me of past; old memories. This story did that to me. I have to say this story is simple, cute and well-written. (Don't know why cute though!!! But it is!) By simple I mean you can enjoy your cup of coffee, sit on your favorite chair, smile and read this book without having stress. Extra is great and touching. People need to be kinder to each other. [...]
