Born and bred in Dublin, L.M. Hatchell is a fully qualified accountant, a health and fitness enthusiast, and mammy to a little girl with a big personality. In the rare minutes of the day when she has peace, you’ll find her with her head buried in a book, lost in a world of magic, intrigue, and suspense.
She started writing at a young age and could often be found passing the pages of her next story around her friends at school. Then life got in the way and she forgot the joy of writing. Until now.
Join her as she rediscovers the imagination buried deep within. A supernatural world is coming to Ireland and things will never be the same again.
A fantastic short story from A Midnight Series, told in a setting in Dublin, Wicklow Mountains, Ireland, my home town, I'll be walking down Grafton Street now expecting to see spooky apothecary shops and fae walking around lol, great story of a Vampire and faerie, who are banished for their relationship, 120 years later hidden away, have a daughter, Phoenix, a hybrid and is coming into her powers, but the past always has way of finding you, when her parents fail to return after two days, it's time to call in help, her vampire uncle Darius the fixer, absolutle fun read, strong characters, this made feel right at home, highly recommend.😁
Midnight Comes by L.M. Hatchell is a prequel novella to the Midnight Trilogy.
This novella is only 38 pages but it is enough to give us a basic idea of the world and each of the characters. I can’t wait to pick up the trilogy to find out what happens!
We follow a Vampire & a Fae who are banished for falling in love in this fast-paced novella. The characters are strong and it is easy to love them and want to know more. The premise of the story is believable and intriguing. The magic system is interesting and I look forward to learning more about it in the first book in the series.
I've been caught. Hooked by this short tempting book that's packed with piercing characters and intriguing plot lines, I fully intend on sinking my teeth into this series.
