I wrote it so I think it's pretty good idk

Edit: For some reason, the discontinued, out of stock, old edition shows up first in google searches for the book. If people are specifically looking for the new cover, use this link:

Sorry for any confusion about that -- this is the first book I've ever had for sale and I'm still figuring a lot of things out. 'Pride and Prejudice: But Mr. Darcy is a Vape God" should also be out soon. Thank you for all your support/interest in my memes!

This book is exactly what it says it is. It's The Great Gatsby, but Nick has scoliosis. The additions are incredibly minor, and there's really no rhyme or reason to where the new lines are located. Some are slipped into the most famous quotes of the novel, but others are just thrown in there in completely unexpected places. If you were just skimming the book, you would likely miss several of the references to Nick's scoliosis. This adaptation truly ruins a famous novel in the best way possible.

This is only the second book I've ever read with a protagonist who has scoliosis. I have longed for representation in literature for my entire life. And finally, finally, we are starting to see some progress! The scoliosis bits were seamlessly woven into the story, and arguably added so much to the classic book. My only complaint is chapter 4 was a little weak.

I have a bone to pick with you Mr. Heese! In Chapter 4 you put, “I also hoped that she wouldn’t be bothered by my scoliosis.” In this line you failed to notice Jordyn Baker has taken over as the narrator. Thus implying that she has scoliosis, not Nick. Disappointed in the inaccuracy Dick:(

Probably the greatest work of American literature ever written. Forget Fitzgerald’s “The Great Gatsby.” “Moby Dick”? Never heard of it. THIS is the Great American Novel.

I mysteriously received a free copy via USPS. Since I never read The Great Gatsby I read this short version and got the gist of the story, so I think. I’m not a fan of the authors style but I found it amusing how he incorporated his own name in places throughout the text.

This was…a weird book. I got it as a gift and fully expected it to be a satire based in the world of Great Gatsby. Instead, it read like a Sparksnote version of the original with very little satire in the book. I was surprised by the serious tone and direct quotes from the original. Sometimes I forgot it was a comedy until a line about scoliosis would appear out of nowhere. Overall a fun read

Exceeded expectations: Nick wasn’t the only one with scoliosis.

Still, the added phrases in the middle portion of the book could have been more creatively implemented.
