**Grab this sexy story in the Dragonflame Series and fall in love with two dragon warriors**
Reagan Brooks hopes that being a surrogate on planet Daeria will end the violence in her life. Earth gave her nothing but pain and she needed a fresh start. Except, now that she's there, she questions if this was the right decision for her. She doubted the massive alphas were the right men for her. Too late to change her mind. Time to sink or swim.
Ryse and Brazen, dragon shifter enforcers for the king, want a mate they can love and cherish and are willing to wait forever for her. When Ryse comes home with Reagan in tow, Brazen is caught off guard and wary. She’s beautiful and perfect, but haunted. She’s closed off her heart and refuses to trust. He’s not sure they’ll ever reach her.
Ryse and Brazen do their best to show Reagan they love her and will never hurt her. But her past won’t let her accept their love, no matter how hard she tries to put it behind her. When her mates are taken from her, it’s time for Reagan to fight or lose the love she dreamed of. A love she never truly believed she’d find in a planet full of predators.
Milly Taiden (also writes as April Angel) was born in the prettiest part of the Caribbean (to her) known as the Dominican Republic. Currently, she resides in New York City with her husband, bossy young son and their little dog Speedy.
When she’s not working full-time, texting with her best friend Heidi in England, chastising her son for pulling the dog’s ears, shopping with her sister Jewel or watching scary movies with her husband, she can be found writing on her laptop.
She’s addicted to shoes, chocolate, Dunkin Donuts coffee and JIMMY THOMAS covers!!!
Book 4 of the Nightflame Dragons series by Milly Taiden Reagan is one of the original surrogates that was waiting to be partnered. Reagan meets Ryse and instantly knows he’s her mate but Reagan has some serious ptsd from abusive mother then abusive husband who she in the end had to kill in self defence before he killed her. I really loved that Ryse and Brazen are really patient with Reagan and even though the mating urges are strong they both wait for her to be ready. This book has a lot of action and finally Arden get what’s coming to him so hopefully next book is all about rebuilding the neutral centre and other Dragons finding there HEA.
This book is really great read. It has a lot of special meanings for a woman character to show the strength that this character does. To me it gives more of an empowerment to the women in these stories then it's so much does the men. And it's not to make so much light of it because their women but more less because it really brings the story to such a great light. I really enjoyed the character development and I really enjoyed the strength shown in bringing Unity among all of them. I highly recommend this book. It is my favorite of the series. Great job Milly!
Nighflame Dragon series has been such a fun series to read book 4 Dragon's Prize is a great addition. I've really enjoyed the world Milly has created, the storyline is amazing because it is a real-life social problem. Ms. Taiden did a wonderful job bringing it to her story.
What do you do when your mate arrives but she supposed to be someone else's? well, you steal her, right? *grins* (you could probably read this as a stand-alone, but you'd miss the important start and how the story just flows)
I loved each character how Brazen was the strong silent type orderly but calm. Ryse has most of his demons fought he's brash and rash and makes a perfect set to Brazen's calm. Enters Reagan she's managed to make it, to be that woman she's got some bumps to smooth out but that hidden sass is just what all three need.
Heat is smoking the passion heartfelt, there is a big bad element because not everyone is all smiles with change. grab it, add it to your TBR, read it and enjoy.
Starting over can be hard. When you’ve never had it easy you should be used to it right? Reagan has been abused all her life. Running away to become a surrogate on planet Daeria gets her away from her past. Can she build a future with not one but two hunky dragon shifters who claim she is their fated mate? She is strong enough to survive but is she strong enough to trust and love? Sometimes letting go is the hardest thing of all. This is a wonderful story of new beginnings and the healing power of love with some fun and sexy adventures along the way.
This book is so Absolutely Amazing and unbelievable full of Exciting Adventures. I think this has just become my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. Millys books are all great but this one takes it all and meshes it altogether and best of the best. I fell in love with these Dragons.

Book 4 complete. I think I like the author, she has great ideas and the world building was fabulous. Ultimately I'm not a fan of her steamy scenes, which is part of the point of a romance novel. I really wanted to love this series and even though the drama was pretty good, for me, the series as a whole left me wanting more. It was an easy read for an afternoon of passing the time but I'm not going out of my way to recommend it to anyone. Also, in this book, it seems as though I missed a book somewhere along the way as one of the previous villain's was now on the good side as a double agent. I know there is a related series, which is crazy because I searched all over to see if there was more than 1 related series but nothing, anywhere. Nothing online even hints toward the 2nd series being related other than I noticed the name was similar to something in the series I was reading. From one book nerd to another, happy reading.
Overall this was a good book and I have enjoyed the Nightflame Dragons series.
I loved the world-building. Taiden created a rich and imaginative world where dragons and humans interact and the different dragon clans have their own unique cultures and traditions. I enjoyed reading about the world and felt it was very engaging.
Though there was a nice balance between the action and the romance, at times I felt that certain parts of the story weren't flushed out as well as others.
Action packed love story. Due to Reagan's past, she finds it difficult to trust in love and relationships but she hoped she could find peace in the surrogate program on an alien planet. The dragons who selected her knew she was their fated mate but realized they would need to go slow to win her love. In the end and after some attempts on Reagan's life, they find love together.
Another great read in the series by Milly. Milly touches your heart with a story of an abused surrogate Reagan that needs to learn to trust her true mates and herself. Very very good addition to the series. I look forward to seeing more of the characters in Daeria
When you have spent your life being abused , it is hard to trust. A new life on an alien planet is a good start. Putting your past behind you is hard but finding a pair of mates will help.
Reagan was ready for a new start. After childhood abuse and from her late husband she decided to be a surrogate on another planet. Never thinking she would find her true mates. Loved the series.
If you like alien shifters with a twist this one's for you! Emotional healing and lots of sexy times and suspenseful quick thinking keeps you reading! I could not put this one down!
A lot of relationship theory going on here. It was interesting to see the FH have baggage that the alpha males had to deal with over and over. It was very realistic how it was a process. These dragons are keepers.
This is a marvelous way to end a series. Full on exciting action, and another strong alpha human female! Can't wait for the next series with the new surrogates!
It was a tear jerker I loved when she broke out of her own fear and defended her mates She was like a momma bear protecting her young I love the story line
I was hoping that this one kept the momentum that started for me in book 3 going in the right direction. Alas, it fell in the romance department back to how it was it the first two books. I will say that I was glad that the author didn't make it seem like Reagan automatically trusted the guys due to her background, and I did like that each female had a male counterpart that shared similarities to them in some way.
The ongoing plot point came to a conclusion in a somewhat satisfying way. Although with all the buildup it seemed a bit rushed.
I love this series both the dragons and wolves I have read it a couple of different times I would recommend this series to anyone I hope they do the cat one as well
I like the way the theme of the protagonist's life is treated. I love the contrast between the protagonists and the mutual concern felt throughout the book.
This is an OK shifter romance, with likable main characters. I think it is the last book in the Nightflame Dragons series, and it provided a satisfactory resolution to the problems with the series bad guy. It features the typical shifter instalove, and two hot dragon shifters who find a mate to complete their triad. I liked that the dragons lived on another planet, as it allowed for a lot more creativity in the story. I would have liked a little more backstory on the characters, though, especially on the dragons and their world.
Ryse, Brazen, and Reagan were all likable, and I really liked that the guys gave Reagan time to overcome her fears (no spoilers, but her past made her afraid). I did seem, though, like they were all more in lust than in love. I think they did spend quite a bit of time together before they claimed her as their mate, but that was kind of skipped over in the story. I might have believed they were in love if that time together had been included.
My main complaint is that all of Milly's stories are a bit too explicit for me. I like hot sex in romances, but I would prefer it to be a little less descriptive and dirty. I am not a prude, but the really explicit stuff is just not romantic to me. But I will continue to read Milly's writing, as it is entertaining and fun.
One other thing bothered me about this book, and it is minor, but it is a pet peeve of mine. When a book describes how the characters look, the cover art should have models that fit that. For example, Ryse is described as having blond hair and Reagan is described as having red hair -- but everyone on the cover has brown hair. Can't the models at least put on a wig for the picture?
My rating system is below. 1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it. 2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws. 3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating. 4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one. 5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.

A love she never truly believed she’d find in a planet full of predators. I feel for Reagan and Ryse how life treated them in the past. To not be able to trust the ones that loved you. To learn to flinch with fear thinking you are going to be hurt is ridiculous. But Brazen is just the male for them he's understanding, loving and he has a heart of gold.
Sexy dragon surrogate read, a woman with heart and bravery finds love… Regan Brooks had fought all her life simply to stay alive brutalised by her abusive alcoholic mother and then beaten by her abusive husband that had treated her as though she was his own punch bag until the night, she had killed him in self-defence. Ryse and Brazen are dragon shifters that share a special bond and they have wanted a surrogate female with whom they can have children and start a much-wanted family, imagine their surprise when one of the surrogates turns out to be their actual mate, who would ever have guessed. They know a little of her history and Ryse who also had been with an abusive mother is able to help her see that she is not alone, they love her and they are willing to wait a hundred years if that is as long as she needs to become their mate. However just as everything seems to be going so well the surrogates once again are under attack and as this brings the various shifter communities together fighting as a united force, the near loss if her me makes her look at her life and realises she already loves them both and life without them is not worth considering. She fights alongside the shifters to protect her pregnant friends, the new surrogates and the shifters that would die to keep them safe, they are all the family she has ever wanted and now that she has the she’d die to keep any of them safe. I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
Dragons' Prize is the fourth book in the Nightflame Dragons series. In this book we follow dragon shifters Brazen & Ryse as they try to convince human Reagan that she's their happily ever after.
Reagan's life on Earth was filled with abuse from the ones that should have loved her. She was hoping that she could get a fresh start on Daeria as a surrogate to the shifters there. But once she was there she wasn't sure this was the right thing for her after all. How could these 2 massive males be the right match for her?
Ryse & Brazen knew that Reagan was their true mate. They just had to convince her of that. They knew some of what her life on Earth was like & that it'd take time & patience to win her trust. They're willing to do whatever they had to so she could see they were meant to be together.
So far I've really liked the Nightflame series & this book just as good as the previous ones. The main characters are likeable & believable. Reagan was afraid she's too broken to love anyone. Ryse & Brazen were strong & patient enough to help her heal. The background cast is familiar from the previous books & does a fine job of supporting without overwhelming. The story line was a continuation of the previous books but different enough to keep my interest & have me up late to finish it. It touched on some delicate topics but handled them well. All in all this is a great book to curl up with.
