Well written and good storyline with magical characters Andrew and Elizabeth meant through his sister Gillian who was a long time friend of Elizabeth’s was almost love at first site and in a way for Andrew also but he felt he would not allow himself to love again Andrew finally realize that he lived Elizabeth very much was not worthy of her due to his beastly ways as a rogue but he was trying to become a better person. With trials and a past that brought many issues to the for front Andrew became a better person ,spill the beans as to he felt worthy and wanted to spend his life forever with Elizabeth . They got their HEA would highly recommend this book

Ugh-lack of professional knowledge

This book seemed like it wad written by a computer program...but one that couldn't identify misused words and phrases. I don't know if sometimes the author was trying to write in a way that she believed was the time period or if they were just ignorant mistakes through lack of literary knowledge or proofreading. This must be self-published because no editor would allow mistakes like the ones in this book. The plot was trite and the writing wooden. Spare yourself and bypass this book.

A master of her kind, Eleanor Banfield does it again!
Quite an intriguing, mysterious plot! I could not find the villain for the life of me! I enjoyed the steamy parts very much and I feel they were intertwined with the rest of the story beautifully. Historically accurate and very interesting, I would definitely read it again. Kinda hooked with the love story, really! Would totally recommend it to lovers of this genre!!

Elizabeth & Andrew both with problems in their past. Reputations, scandal, gossip, heartache, with plenty of twist & turns. Filled with intrigue & of course romance. The storyline was strong & I loved the characters. I was hooked from the first page till the last. I highly recommend this book.

I totally enjoyed reading this book. It kept my undivided attention from beginning to end. The storyline had several twists and turns to keep you going.
