Wolf shifter Montgomery’s bad day keeps getting worse, and when he gets home to his empty house, his washer has flooded and there’s water everywhere. At least there’s a new laundromat down the street. On the surface, it appears just like any other laundromat, with the addition of a nosy owner, his sidekick, and oh yeah… the weird note Montgomery finds in the dryer.
When Patrick’s roommate moves out, he picks up odd jobs to avoid needing another roommate. He runs errands, cleans apartments, and even goes to the laundromat for people. It’s just like any other job, until he swings open a dryer and finds a restaurant name with a date and time on it.
Both men take a chance on the restaurant, but are they willing to take a chance on love?
Make Mine a Wolf is the second book in the M/M mpreg shifter sweet with knotty heat series. Make Mine a Wolf features an alpha wolf who’d rather be anywhere but the laundromat, a human omega who sees happy ever afters everywhere but his own life, a matchmaker who fumbles his way to a client’s perfect match and who is more than he appears, an adorable baby, and a guaranteed happily ever after.
Really enjoyed this short, sweet and complete love story. Love the premise of Mr. Lucas and his nephew Harry bringing Fated mates together. Such fun!!!
Well, I started with book 2 (with no problems) and enjoyed this quick romp of a mating between wolf shifter Montgomery and human Patrick. The magical matchmaking was adorable. Loved the set up. Quirky characters had me laughing often.

This story of Patrick and Montgomery is not only cute but funny. Patrick has funny lines and a carefree attitude, while Montgomery is straight-laced. There isn't a touch-and-go situation between them—they're just perfectly matched!
This is a quick cute read Wolf shifter Montgomery was have an extremely bad time at work he had just lost his presentation and was working late with his team to make sure they had everything ready for the next day when he got home after midnight he found his washing machine had leaked and as he couldn’t leave his washing dirty he went to a 24 hour laundromat down the road and had a very weird encounter with a very fine looking gentleman and his nephew. They told him to make sure he didn’t leave anything in the dryer and he did he found a piece of paper crumpled with An invite to a restaurant for Saturday night that left him puzzled. Patrick was taking as many odd jobs as he could to save up money to go back to school to get his PhD. one evening there was a job to go and take this ladies Curtains to the laundromat it was a quick easy job so Patrick took it and this is where he met a very snazzy dressed man and his nephew. They knew about him it was very bizarre and they plyed him being a three course meal in the laundromat it was weird. They told him to make sure he didn’t leave anything in the dryer and this is where he found an invite to a restaurant for Saturday night. What would happen when Montgomery met Patrick?? I found a story to be extremely cute the chemistry between them was off the charts and the passion was ohLala. There is something tender about their relationship power they communicated it was just so nice left me with A lovely feeling and a smile on my face
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Sometimes, you have to trust that stranger. Montgomery was having a bad day at work. The worse thing that could happen does, but he has it handled! He gets home at the end of the day, and more disaster. He meets Mr Lucas and his assistant Harry at the convenient neighborhood laundromat. Mr Lucas gives Monty a note to meet at Saturday Indulge for dinner. Monty, has parent expectations issues. So, he is experiencing pressure from many angles. Patrick, was saving up for grad school along with meeting his expenses. He lived alone to avoid roommate hassles. So he had to work as many errand jobs as needed. He was in the laundramat, cleaning curtains for a client when Mr Lucas walked in. Patrick, also was invited to Indulge. Did Monty and Paddy go to indulge and meet? What do Montgomery's parents think of Patrick? Are they receptive to each other. What did Monty's wolf think of Patrick? Will Monty introduce his wolf to Patrick? Will he be receptive to the reveal of paranormals? Delightful book. The characters are nicely developed and likeable. Well done! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Patrick and Montgomery story was sweet and extremely funny. It shows us how a wolf and a human can meet when the matchmaker extraordinaire is plotting an unexpected blind date that seems suspicious and can be thought as a scam. Is immensely funny how they both meet the matchmaker unbeknownst to them and are set up for a dinner by a random note. I loved the way they meet, how they connect and how Patrick reacted and accepted the existence of shifters. Montgomery’s parents tries to set up his son with an omega worth their standards numerous times but Montgomery finds the guts to tell their parents the truth and Patrick defends him and is by his side. Patrick is a very lively omega that wins the heart of everyone and the little bundle of joy can steal everyone’s love. I liked how their relationship blooms, the way they get to communicate with each other and how believing they get to have the happiness they deserve. I really loved the story and I'm looking forward to see what happens next.
You can feel the magic in the air! Having a bad day was an understatement! Wolf shifter Montgomery arrived home past midnight from a rough day at work to find his washing machine had malfunctioned and left water everywhere. He went to a 24 hour laundromat, was told by a man and his nephew not to leave anything in the dryer. He checked and found a paper inviting him to a restaurant Saturday night.
Patrick’s roommate moves away, so he took odd jobs to earn money to finish his PhD. An odd job sent him to the laundromat with a woman’s curtains. He met a man and his nephew who asked that he check the dryer, and there he found an invitation to a restaurant for Saturday.
Are Montgomery and Patrick destined to meet? Who is the mysterious man and his nephew from the laundromat? Will they be just what each other needs, and find the happiness they both deserve?
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story. I seem to have missed the first book in the series but reading the story was totally separate from the first one. It was a fast paced romance between a human, Patrick and a wolf shifter, Montgomery. These two meet up by finding a piece of paper in the dryer telling them to go to a restaurant on a certain day at a certain time and at a certain table. Mr Lucas who is a dragon shifter, is the owner of the laundromat where the dryer was, and his assistant Harry who is a Fae. Once they meet up, Montgomery realises that Patrick is his mate. They fall in love and have a happily ever after.
I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and review with my honest and fair opinion.
Montgomery’s team lost a file so they worked until they got it done again. Got home washer flooded so went to laundromat, Mr. Lucas and nephew stopped and made him hot chocolate & cookies then told him to make sure he checked the dryer real good, found a paper to go to Indulge at 7pm on Saturday. Patrick ran errands for people and had to wash some curtains went to wash them, Mr Lucas came in and fed him told him to make sure he checked the dryers real good got a paper like Montgomery. Neither almost didn’t show. Great book and couldn’t put the book down! Will have to get the first book!
This was shifter Montgomery and human Patrick. The storyline is clear. They meet, with a little help from a dragon shifter Mr Lucas and a fae Harry, by way of a paper left in the laundromat dryer. Read how they realise they are meant for eachother. This story ofcourse has a hea. As I think all books have which are written by these authors. I did read the first book in the series a while ago, but it is not necessary to ve able to follow this story. a fun, quick read about a wolf I received a free copy of this book and Iam voluntarily leaving a review.
As bad days go, wolf shifter Montgomery, managed to hit quite a few marks at home and at work. After trudging to his apartment after a rough day at work, a water leak forces him to go find somewhere to do his laundry. There, he meets a man and his nephew, who may be a little bit busier than he'd like. A weird note came along with his finished laundry.
Patrick is a human and his poor luck isn't that much better. He needs a new roommate and isn't making enough on his own, to make ends meet. Ending up at the same laundromat, and a mysterious note.
Both were instructed to arrive at the same restaurant, with a specific day, time, and table. Nothing like a meddlesome dragon, Mr. Lucas, and his fae nephew, Harry, to help these two meet and realize they are mates. Their sweet and instant connection didn't come without a little drama from Montgomery's annoying parents, trying to set him up with an omega of their choosing. Having Patrick by his side gave Montgomery the strength he needed to stand up to his family. After all, you couldn't help but love him and the bundle of joy they created.
A warm and fuzzy story, with lots of laughs, that ended far too soon. Can't wait to see what's next.
This one is so cute! Mr. Lucas is so mysterious. I love the matchmaker stories, but I really want to KNOW MORE ABOUT MR. LUCAS. Why does he changes shops so much. LOL.
Montgomery and Patrick are so adorable together. Montgomery is such a Cinnamon Roll he practically owns a Cinnabon. Patrick is a bit confusing. He's an almost grad student that never goes to class, never talks about what he's studying...so we don't get a feel for him really. I would have liked to get in his head a bit more. I get that they are short sweet books, but we know so much more about Montgomery's personality in this book than we do Patrick. That aside, the sex scenes were touching and passionate. I'll continue reading the series when I need a short sweet book to break up heavier reading.
I really enjoyed this book. It was a cute quick read about two men brought together by a mysterious message they each found in a laundromat, and though wary, decided to take a chance and see what it led to. I loved that aspect of this book. The laundromat, it's owner Mr. Lucas, and his nephew Harry were mysterious and interesting. Mr. Lucas had an air of omniscience to him. Montgomery and Patrick were cute together and it was pretty much insta-love. Montgomery is an alpha wolf shifter and Patrick is an omega human who had no idea shifters existed. Good world building with a touch of magic. 4 stars
This is book is my first in this series and even though I can tell Mr. Lucas and his nephew will be an important factor in the series, it can still be considered a standalone. But I am going to catch the first one because OMG this was a fun read. Mated by Chance is definitely what happened with Montgomery and Patrick. Totally different social background and you would think it would be kind of awkward but these guys hit it off instantly. Only a little resistance with Montgomery's parents but love and respect prevails. Super sweet ending and a well deserved HEA for the guys. So far I'm all in with this series and can't wait to see who Mr. Lucas match up next.
Book 1 (Make Mine a Lion) was hilariously quirky and fun. I was hoping for more of the same, but Make Mine a Wolf had a very different feeling. It was still quirky, but just didn't have the spark that the first book had. Patrick had some serious mood shifts with absolutely no reason for them. He calms down way too easily from pretty significant things. When he is angry at Montgomery it is literally for less than a page, and I didn't feel like there was any real resolution to the conflict, they just have sex and move on. And it was like that for every major thing, they just get over it without ever dealing with things.
Our quirky dragon is at it again with help from his fae nephew, Harry. This time he owns a laundromat and meets Patrick and then Montgomery. This is another quick sweet fated mates story that gets helped along by Mr. Lucas. You never know what type of magic he may weave so keep an open mind and enjoy this new "quick" mate match. This writing duo always brings fun sweet reads that end with a HEA and usually a little bundle of joy. Or three in some cases LOL
I feel like I was missing chunks of this story. The first 80% or so took place within a week. But it felt like huge time jumps were made. Except we were reminded they weren’t. These guys had no palpable connection. I love fated mates and I love when the person inexperienced with fate accepts quickly. But Patrick just had all these questions in his mind, but never really asked. They never had deep discussions. Montgomery seemed to be this reasonable guy at first then this irrational guy after. I don’t know. This book wasn’t great.
I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review.
Montgomery is a lonely wolf shifter. Patrick is a lonely human. They meet under unusual circumstances. Montgomery’s wolf declares that Patrick is his mate. I like the way Patrick stands up for himself against Montgomery’s parents and the way he is ready to mate with Montgomery. This HEA was very endearing.
One of the cutest and most unusual ways of meeting I've read in a while. I enjoyed this short, sweet instalove story with an Alpha wolf and an omega human taking a chance on love based on a strange note found in a laundromat. I loved the matchmaking Mr. Lucas and the role he played in bringing Patrick and Montgomery together.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A wonderful and a bit humorous second book in this wonderful series by two of my favorite mpreg authors. Patrick and Montgomery make a wonderful couple even though Patrick is a human. Loved the way Montgomery's apartment is described and how when he is out of his element he can be bit panicky for an Alpha. Loved this 2nd book can't wait for "Make Mine A Bear" to be released as well!
Thoroughly enjoyed Patrick and Montgomery 's story. With Mr Lucas meddling, becoming matchmaker again. They both met on a blind date ,arranged by Mr Lucas, and were instantly attracted to each other. Montgomery being a wolf shifter and Patrick being human, Patrick knew nothing of the shifter world. A fun quick read with lots of jumping on the bed.
So this was fine. It was a quick read but sometimes I just found myself confused. Montgomery made it seem like humans have no knowledge of shifters but Patrick was already using alpha and omega prior to the reveal. Also even though it was a book with mates, I found things moved way too fast and in this case I didn’t find it believable.
. . . É uma leitura F(. . .), desculpe pela palavra, eu amei 🖤. . . Amei! Amo um lobo, e bom o Sr. Lucas se superou novamente. Agindo com Harry e garantindo mais um final feliz. Mais onde tem uma lavanderia que venha com refeição e um casamenteiro desses preciso. Adorei. . . Boa Leitura 😘
Thoroughly warn enjoyable shirt shifter love story
Mr. lucas is at it again. This timevits Wolf Shifter Montgomery and Patrick's turn to receive strange messages. A broken washing machine sent Montgomery to the new laundymat where he finds a strange note, similar fir Patrick odd jobman.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I liked how it was arranged for them to meet. Patrick and Montgomery are well suited and it was very good when Montgomery manned up and took Patrick as his mate.
3.5 stars - This was a little more enjoyable than book one. Kind of liked all the coincidences and “should I go to the restaurant on this random piece of paper?” moments. Goofy, but fun, and I probably will continue on bc they are quite short.
Well written story and well developed characters! Patrick takes odd jobs for a living. That is how he met Mr. Lucas! Is Mr. Lucas magic or a matchmaking extrordinaire? How does he know about Patrick?
No sense of who these characters are at all and the world building is weird. It's omegaverse but there are shifters but humans don't know there are shifters but they are A/B/O too and their designation carries over to the shifters they don't know about.
