Zayn is looking for love. Spencer wants to live the single life forever. One of them is doomed to fail.
Spencer Wright, better known as Zealous Blaze, is the number one DJ in the world. Not only does everyone know his name, he’s also the most sought-after man on the scene. There’s zero chance anyone is tying him down. His life is too crazy. He would be insane to let himself get ensnared by one person. It’s too bad Spencer can’t stop thinking about Zayn.
Zayn has the worst luck with men. He’s rich and works hard on his body. Zayn would like to think he’s also a nice guy. It just seems like there’s no one left out there for him. Everyone he meets only wants to hook up. Zayn wants a real relationship. It doesn’t help that he has his heart set on the unattainable. From the first time he set eyes on Spencer, he hasn’t wanted anyone else.
Mixing tracks isn’t Spencer’s only talent. He also has Zayn’s head completely spun out of control with the way he wants Zayn one day, and then he pushes Zayn away the next. Maybe this next time Zayn won’t come back.

This was a fail for me. It dealt with ADHD (undiagnosed at 46) and a billionaire who in his mid 40's doesn't have a life (or doesn't know how to live it. I would accept this story of finding themselves and each other if they were younger, but at close to 50 they still act like teens and it's not convincing. Especially being a dj at raves and living the life. Even the recurring chosen child living with them (Jinx) is 26 and needs 'mothering'. 🤔
Spencer saves Zayn from a date, and brings him home. Each man is famous, and each has wanted the other. They respect the other's work and level of success. We see two men who are both large, strong, built and skilled. Zayn is 40, of Asian decent, a billionaire in currency and bodybuilder, but is lonely in life. Spencer, 46, a world famous DJ, with light brown hair and blue eyes, who runs himself ragged and is alone as well. He takes care of 25 year old Jinx, his equipment man, who has an ill Mom.
Hot and heavy passion and play, are fulfilling in their sexy times. These two are magnificent. Spencer keeps screwing up when his brain gets absorbed in work, and he doesn't show up for appointments.
Caring Zayn is patient, kind, and understanding, but one day they clash and a big talk is needed. I like these dynamic characters, so full of life, success, and still seeking love.
Spencer Wright is known as Zealous Blaze and is the number-one DJ in the world. Everyone knows his name and everyone wants him but he can't stop thinking about Zayn even though the single life forever sounds good. Rich and conscious of working hard on his body Zayn has the worst luck with men even though he is a nice guy. Everyone he meets just wants to hook up and he wants a real relationship. His problem is that his heart is set on Spencer and he doesn't want anyone else. Mixing tracks isn’t Spencer’s only talent. He also has Zayn’s head completely spun out of control with the way he wants Zayn one day, and then he pushes Zayn away the next. Maybe this next time Zayn won’t come back.
This was a good story with the hot and cold Spencer and a determined Zayn who needed to have more confidence in himself. I loved the way that Zayn tried to help Spencer by using a real-life example to help him relate to it. The way that they went to bat for each other in different ways was sweet too. They definitely started as friends that changed into something else. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
I really loved this story and I couldn't put it down until I got to the end. I totally felt Zayn's pain of being surrounded by people yet feel alone. Spencer was a hot mess but it really wasn't his fault. They had their struggles but in the end they find their happy ending.
3.5 this was cute. It was hard to follow the MC s pov sometimes, the changes were a bit abrupt. Spencer s forgetfulness came out of nowhere to justify his behavior. Spencer was a good guy, I liked him but Zayn was too much of a doormat, in the end he forgave and forgot too quickly, he was close to apologizing although Spencer was the one to mess up. Overall I enjoyed the book.
This series of interconnecting friends finding their happy endings is so satisfying. You see them go through difficulties, and you may not know how, but you know they'll find their way
